I get the pleasure of watching my 7 year old nephew's rec games here every now and then. For this reason alone, the memories will always be cherished. Note, parking here on Saturdays can be a bit disastrous. Rushing parents trying to get their kids in the gym can cause a bit of anxiety. There's also tons of construction on the Valley View mall area so no surprises there. Overall just thankful for a good facility. read more

I've been taking my daughters here for volleyball for almost 3 years. This will be our last season. They have some issues with getting the schedule out in a timely manner. Another issue is changing the schedule once its out which causes conflicts with other activities. We have had some issues with coaches not being available occasionally and getting subs, which is fine. But this does not build any confidence between the coach and player as well as causes a lag in productivity because the sub coach doesn't know the players and what to work on. My biggest most recent issue is that my daughter shows up for her first day of spring season with her new team and meets her coach once. This guy doesn't show up for practice or their games for the next two weeks and Sportsplex didn't even give them a sub. They were just on their own. Once I finally heard what the "miscommunication" was I was appalled. They allowed this coach to be with our girls before his background check was completed and then left them hanging while they got the results. They say the players safety is their greatest priority. If they can't even get that right I can't imagine their other priorities being up to par either. Sorry we've hung in here so long with sub par results. Will miss Coach Jordan and Jonathan. read more

Beware when placing a team in this league! My kid joined a fall basketball league where they only have three courts to play on yet they have chosen to take over 100 teams money to play in this league. I've never played anywhere where they schedule is changed on a weekly basis. The place has little adult staff around to listen or care about your complaints or concerns. I would suggest any number of places to play games. Sportsplex is obviously taken as much money as possible in hopes that everyone will simply bend over and take what they are trying to give you. No thanks sportsplex I will not be taking what you are trying to give. read more

The indoor soccer field for the price we paid was quite frankly a disgrace. It was essentially just wood with some grass carpet which was a big injury risk for us. They didn't even have a any goal nets for us to score just gave us some cones to play with. Worst soccer experience ever and I hope no one comes here for indoor soccer. read more

Nice courts. Seating arrangements could be better as the volleyball courts and basketball courtsare tight against each other with limited viewing area and no room between volleyball and basketball courts (separated by a net). One gets the feeling they are trying to maximize profits by squeezing as many games/courts as humanly possible. They also try to insist that you buy all of your food and drink from their little food window. As if bringing your own preferred Gatorade flavor there will break their bank. Pffftt. read more

The bathrooms are horrible and disgusting. No one takes care of them. I have seen roaches - the BIG kind, and trash in stalls left unattended to for days. Other than it's a popular place for basketball and volleyball. Not a lot of seating for fans to watch. When there's a game going, parking can be really difficult. Navigating the lot is crazy at times with all the parents trying to whip in their oversized suvs. Sometimes the facility staff seems to not care about the building or cleanliness, but the trainers and coaches def care about the kids. read more

This review is solely for the soccer field. Coming from out of town, the price is right and good location. However, the turf field is just turf put directly into a wooden floor. Some of the boys said there was wood sticking out in places. I would encourage others to find an alternate practice location. They were cleaning the bathrooms when I was there so no issues with that! read more

I've played here for volleyball tournaments a couple of times. There isn't much seating for players or spectators. There aren't lockers to lock up belongings when playing. (That I know of) If you're playing volleyball tournaments, you're also working part-time as a ref for free. It's an ok facility. read more

On the one hand, SP is a great place that brings so many family together every weekend for basketball, volleyball and other sports. The courts are actually really nice and the people working at the facility are nice as well. Frankly, if I never had to go into the mens room, I would give this place a 5 star. But the men's room, or the boys room, is really horrible. It's way too small for such a large facility and has one paper towel dispenser for the hundreds of people who go through it. please fix this so that I can give you your deserve it 5 star read more

Volleyball tournaments in this aged facility is painful. There isn't any place to sit and the nets covering the court limit your walking ability. People are constantly walking in front of you and the game being played. Way too many interruptions for you to enjoy the event you paid for. $8 for adults and $4 for kids. Very pricy for this outdated joint. I wish our club team would find a nicer more accommodating facility if they had a say so about it. read more

Played at this venue this weekend and was very disappointed. The bathrooms were nasty and looked like they needed a deep cleaning. The concessions options were very poor but expensive and I ended up favoring food to the venue. The volleyball courts are set up horribly and leave no room for walking space. Had parents constantly walking on the courts which makes a very dangerous area for gameplay. Overall, this place needs to step it up or quit hosting tournaments all together. read more

We had about 15 out of town guys and decided to rent the court out for 2 hours. Price was alright, and the service/location was good. The vending machines did not work at all, and they did not let us have drinks from the outside. So this was pretty dumb...and the inside of the gym is too hot...they are a bit slow at turning the AC on i guess. read more

The facility was fine & actually had fun; the disappointment was in their customer service. It was not on par with with the high standard that I have grown up in this great land of America. They were very rude and was not understanding of our needs. One incident that made me very livid was when our ball had accidentally went over the divider. A worker, on the other side, did not bother to even attempt to throw it back to us correctly. Although it was our fault of throwing past the divider, he was very apathetic about the situation. In all else, very great facility, just needs a new team. read more
