The StarCenter has multiple locations across the great state of Texas, but this one is in Farmers Branch, outside of Dallas. Friendly people. Multiple rinks. Just select the one you're there for and pop a squat. This center is easy to get to, as it's right on Stemmons. No pay parking. Great bargain - can't beat that! Leagues are decently priced, and think of all the new friends you'll meet. Meet up with friends to play or just watch. Come on out!

Incredibly disappointed. when Sting Soccer Club merged with the club our child was already playing…read morefor, we decided to keep her in and embrace the change. we were in constant communication with coaches, local directors etc (Lincoln NE) and nobody bothered getting back to us about team formations. We literally asked at every practice and had several follow up emails that ended with "someone will get back to you" with no response.(this was for recreation/less competitive teams btw so it isn't like my kid missed a tryout or anything) I get things get messy with a merge but my last email wasn't even acknowledged. If that is how Sting operates, we have no choice but to find a different place for our kid to play.

I've been to several parties like this and every other place lets kids roam freely even as they have organized play in different sections. I wasn't in the mood to have a training session with my 2 year old. I was at a birthday party and wanted to have a good time with my kids; instead I got to monitor my 2 year old while she cried because she wasn't always ready to move to the next section on cue. They also took my kids food away while they were still eating. It was time to go and I was trying to get their food and take it with us because this was their lunch but they just said it was time to go and threw it away.

My daughter wanted to take gymnastics class and after looking at multiple gym this place had the best pricing. The have their own team that completes (you'll see trophies all around). The only thing I don't like is depending on the day, you might have a hard time find seats. The parking lot is huge so you don't have to worry about parking. Other then seating I recommend this place if you're looking for something affordable.

I have not had good experiences at this D-BAT location. Multiple times I've come here, the machines…read morewere either malfunctioning or completely out of service. When asking employees for help, sometimes they assist, but other times they just tell you to wait for another machine without offering any real solution. The machines constantly having issues is clearly something management should take more seriously, and the staff should have a better attitude when customers bring it up. Today was even worse. I showed up to get some batting work in, only to find the entire building closed. An electrician on site mentioned it was due to electrical issues, which honestly makes sense considering how often the machines don't work properly. The frustrating part is there was no notification anywhere saying the facility was closed. Google Maps showed the place as completely open. I've been to other D-BAT locations, and this one is by far the worst experience I've had. Even the bats are in poor condition.

During our visit, we encountered an issue with the pitching machine, and Alex promptly came to assist us. He not only tested the machine, fixed the arm, and pinpointed the problem efficiently but also provided our girls with a bucket of balls for tee and front toss practice while the machine was being repaired. Moreover, this facility utilizes real balls, which is a great feature. Alex demonstrated excellent customer service by communicating the issue to both the girls and myself, showing kindness and professionalism. Such outstanding service is what keeps us returning to this location every time.

Don't get me wrong, we've had a couple of hiccups during our first after school program BUT each issue was addressed personally by Freddie and he even took the time to speak with me about them. I am not a fan of issues occurring but I do appreciate it when places take a service issue and make it a win for them and for customers. I LOVE the concept. STEAM education in a cool, hip environment that gets the kids learning without them knowing it! It's also less academic feeling than the traditional coding spots. No classroom like feel at the facility, more of a lab! The kids love it as well. Great spot that I recommend to anyone looking to change up the after school learning programs!
