This was a cute small little storefront. Not super spacious, just enough. Once you step in, there are tables that line both sides of the walls. Walk in farther, you're at the bar. Walk past that, bathrooms. Quaint little space. But, it works! Had live music that night, so you can hear it from anywhere you sit. Tables are small, so if you're getting lots of tapas and drinks, be mindful of that. We had to use two tables for all our stuff because ... well, we like to eat and drink. Hahaha Staff was great. Ambiance was fun. Does get a little loud, so I'm you're trying to have a quiet date night, might not be able to hear each other, unless you're sitting reeeeeal close ... which might work to your advantage. Hahaha jk Tapas and drinks. We tried: - bacon pimento cheese (yummy) - southern vibes cheese & charcuterie (good stuff) - tsukune, Japanese grilled meatballs (nice little spice) - garlic shrimp (the bread with the dip was yum) - lemony ricotta with seasonal fruit spread (mix it and it's good) didn't feel "desserty" as they suggested, so if you want desserts, you'll have to ask for that. As for deinks ... we went with 3 flights - (one) all white wines, (second) half red/half white, and (third) beers on tap. I don't know if they normally do these, don't recall seeing flights on the menu, but my friend asked and they did them. I don't even know how much we paid for them. Oops. You might want to check that. None of us looked at the receipt (our fault) but, it seemed a lot pricey, if we calculated our food correctly ... those flights were pricey. Might want to just buy a bottle and share that (which I saw some people do). Hehe doh. All in all, a cute place. Thanks for a good experience! read more

Right before the world shut down, a little wine bar named Southern Vibes opened near my house. It was a small venue, with no outdoor seating, so we didn't have an opportunity to visit til recently. My husband and I decided to visit for the first time on a day date after I returned from a trip, and man, was that the right choice. As I mentioned, the venue is small. it allows for a tasting bar, and then a small sitting area with couches, chairs and low tables. Wine is available for sale in bins behind the bar stools, and also in a nice sized wine room. The owner was behind the bar the day we visited, and she guided us to a nice Pinot Noir, a 2017 Founder's Reserve from Willamette Valley Vineyards. It was lovely. Southern Vibes offers a great assortment of tapas, and we were hungry. We ordered the Cheese Board, Parmesan Brussels Sprouts, and Olive Tapenade with fresh bread. All of these came out promptly, and were so delicious we cleaned the plates. We also bought a shiraz to take home to enjoy. Southern Vibes offers its own wine club, and special events. They also have trivia nights and live music. There's a little something for everyone, and I think it's going to fast become a staple in our date night repertoire. read more

This was a great place! It's not too big inside but still plenty of room to spread out all of the small plates I'm sure you'll order. Lol. There were 3 in our party and we each ordered flights. Two wine flights and one beer flight. We also went with a cheese board, pimento cheese plate, Asian meatballs, and the shrimp toast. We also ordered the lemon ricotta plate as "dessert." Everything was delicious. Service was great and what made it even more fun was the live country music by Branden Parrish. His voice is amazing. I'm sure we will return. This restaurant is small but probably can accompany a party of 8. The staff was nice and attentive. My Riesling wine tasted fresh, crisp and semi sweet which was perfect. I did not use the restroom but it's safe to assume it was clean as the facility itself was very clean. read more

I will start by saying the wine here is fabulous and even better are the finger foods! The jalapeño poppers are a must try! The staff was very friendly, and very knowledgeable. Now to the not so fabulous... None of the chairs are made for anyone over 5'5". Neither myself or my date could sit comfortably on the barstools or at the tables. They are so so tiny and very uncomfortable. My only other complaint is the music. When I go to a wine bar, I expect some thing like jazz or classical music just something super mellow playing maybe even something like Jack Johnson. However, the music chosen for the night was Metallica and bands similar to that. I will definitely go back for the wine and the food. However, my stay will not be long because I cannot be comfortable in the chairs and also the music is shit. read more

Good wine and good finger foods but place was full of people and at 10pm they wouldn't pour anymore drinks because said they were closing , beer and wine store can stay open until 2am last I checked Florida laws so not very friendly to a full bar with wanting and paying customers . Probably won't be back unless mid afternoon on a weekend. Rule of thumb if you have 22 paying customers in your place of business you should suck it up and keep the wine pouring ! read more

We went to pick up a Charcuterie Board and a couple bottles of white wine. The woman I spoke to was very pleasant however she was not home at all. I asked her if she had Reisling and she said no. I told her I did not want a dry white and she said ok. She was very flighty when she said give me your number is it... and proceeded to read back the number of the actual restaurant I said no that's your number when I told her my number she read it back when I said the area code and let's say 781 she read it back with area code 71 and the rest I was like that isn't even a phone number lol but I just repeated myself she then had the manager explaining the options and he would say 4 cheeses but she told me to pick three and he would correct her saying No they will get the four I asked about the meat portion she said they didn't have Italian meats just Charcuterie...huh? That's the same thing. Skip to my husband picking it up... they DID have a Reisling and she grabbed a very dry wine and when my husband asked is that dry the Somelier tasted it and said No this is very dry give them the Reslieng which she said they didn't carry. She was very nice but kept messing up our order and clearly is in the wrong place of employment and my husband said she was elderly.
