So now this is the fourth time I've either gone on a multiple night stay with ATV Offroad…read moreAdventures or just did a day adventure. This year Nikki and I did a three night adventure with our good friends Norman, Holly, and his sister and boyfriend. First day we traveled to a campsite in Camden intense the first night. Do the fact I haven't done that and I'm gonna say 40 years it was a little bit of a shocker after driving side-by-side for five hours and then trying to figure out how to put this tent together. But they were great helped us put everything together. Served us a wonderful dinner as we sat around a little fire and all got caught up. Next day we wrote on down to the bar 10 ranch and got some time just kinda relax and take a wonderful shower. The people at Barton couldn't be nicer. The whole staff is absolutely wonderful. Helpful treat you like royalty. Although going to the campsite and coming back down the mountain, you have a little bit of driving on the edge of cliffs. The real adventurous Day was day three when we went out to an old abandoned Copper Mine. I will say there's a lot of driving on the edge, it is not for the faint of heart. It is a true adventure. But the sites and the time are just amazing. Jamel, Skyler and Sindy were wonderful tour guides and kept us safe. One of the other wonderful things is being away from everything having no Internet no real cell reception. It was such a wonderful thing to unplug. Just being off grid. We will still be doing this again next year if not sooner.

Best day ever at the Camel Safari! Guided by Adam and Allie-two of the most knowledgeable,…read morefriendly, and genuinely caring people you'll ever meet . This experience was unforgettable from start to finish in their 165 acre property. We kicked off the day with a short ride on Jafar, a stunning, gentle giant weighing nearly 3,000 pounds. ( love at first sight) After taking some amazing photos with him, he happily stayed nearby and spent the rest of the day with us. From there, we met several other camels and hopped on the tram, where more adventures were to be had . Along the way, we encountered so many incredible animals, more camels, a zedonk, llamas, alpacas, and miniature horses. One of the highlights was feeding Thorn, their adorable pet porcupine, grapes she was just the sweetest little girl. We also got to see New Guinea singing dogs (so cute!) and Ambien, their 20-year-old sloth, who was just as amazing to see in person as you'd imagine. Feeding the alpacas and llamas carrots was such a fun, hands-on experience. As if that wasn't enough, four friendly Ridgeback dogs casually joined us on the tram, roaming freely and adding even more charm to the day. Every animal we encountered was gentle, well cared for and clearly loved . I truly can't say enough wonderful things about this experience it was pure joy from beginning to end. If you've never met a camel, Ilama, or alpaca, you're missing out. These gentle creatures will absolutely fill your heart. I'm already looking forward to going back again soon. I didn't want the day to end . This is one adventure you don't want to miss it's truly an overload of joy! "LIVE LIFE WITH LOVE & LAUGHTER" ~PEACE JODY~

If you're looking for something unique to do near Las Vegas, Camel Safari is absolutely worth it…read more We drove up from the Las Vegas Strip and visited earlier in June, and it exceeded our expectations. We were amazed by how up close and personal we could get with the camels and the other animals. The safari tram tour was informative and much more engaging than anticipated as well. We had plenty of opportunities to see the animals in a natural, spacious environment. The friendly staff were also incredibly knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the animals in their care. They shared interesting facts about the area and the animals throughout the tour that made the experience both fun and educational. This was far better than your average zoo... it felt much more interactive and authentic. One of the biggest highlights is the location itself. It truly feels like a backcountry adventure, and it's hard to believe you're such a short drive from the Las Vegas Strip. We also did the UTV tour, which took us down to the Virgin River and deeper into the surrounding desert landscape. The scenery was stunning, and I couldn't believe we had just been in the middle of Vegas. What a great experience!

If you were to look at yoga studios in town, for the same price you will not only get a yoga studio, but a fitness facility and rock climbing! They also have free classes to members like a fitness class and other helpful classes. My favorite part about this gym is the vibe. Very friendly staff, management and people at the gym. They have a friendly atmosphere and so many people are willing to connect and be helpful for new people or people wanting to climb with someone. You won't find any "gym bro" type people. They are constantly changing climbing routes, so you will never get bored! I also appreciate they don't have hidden fees or contracts. If you want to pause your membership at anytime you can (for a nominal fee) as this avoids the signup fee. Definitely recommend!

Since we were unable to obtain tickets to Zion, we came upon Contact Climbing Gym while searching…read morefor other ways to spend our last day here in Southern Utah. It has been months since I've had the opportunity to climb, and I definitely felt it on the wall today. Everything was hard! I wish we caught the name of the staff member who helped us because she was fantastic! As she was checking us off for top rope, she immediately recognized that one of us was experienced while the other was not, and she offered some gratuitous and helpful advice to my partner. She also gave me some great recommendations on local outdoor spots to check out. Thank you! In terms of the climbing, this place is solid. There are top rope, lead, bouldering, and a training area. The setting was just right, and everything is still clean and new. One complaint that my partner had was the difficulty with belaying with the large-diameter static rope, but I found this to be pretty standard in gyms for longevity. Aside from the slab wall, you may need to put a little extra "oomph" in your belay on top rope. I didn't get to lead, as my partner has no experience in this, but watching some of the other climbers, the routes looked to flow well. We came on a weekday afternoon, and it was nearly empty! However, we were told that a few weeks ago, people had to be turned away because it was jam packed after the snow. I can certainly see this being a very busy gym. If I lived in St. George, then I'd definitely have a membership here. The pricing is excellent, and this gym has a lot to offer, including yoga and a fitness area. Even today, I saw a number of people just sitting on their computers, probably doing work with the free wifi. Furthermore, the locker rooms are clean, and they offer quality feminine products at no charge! If you're in the area, come get some fun and challenging climbs in at Contact!
