Loved this company ! Bill was super helpful with all my questions and booking process. We had Brandon as our guide for the Falls tour. I appreciate that we were never rushed and got time to spend at the Falls. Was a cool experience. They loaded up the cooler for you with a ton of water/ice/snacks - very nice touch. The utv had head phones which let you talk in the utv to each other and a option to speak to all the other utvs too. Brandon was able tell us what to do, where to put the tires, what was coming up etc etc.

Brandon made our utv offroading experience phenomenal. Him and Bill were very professional and courteous and made sure we had a fantastic time while staying safe. We did the sand hollow tour and it was the perfect mixture of terrains from sand dunes to washes to rock crawling. They were very generous with their time and the snacks and drinks were a nice bonus. The headsets were also an awesome feature as they helped us communicate with each other. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to have an amazing, authentic adventure!

We were visiting the area with our 6 month old and 5 year old. We called the afternoon before and they were able to set us up with a 12 pm ride the next day. They accommodated us and the kids on short notice. We picked a ride that was going to be really dusty, so they recommended one that was better for the kids, and we are so glad they did! Craziest part: We ended up getting a private tour with Mike Metzger as our guide. Super mellow and down to earth guy. Awesome with the kids. Overall incredible experience worth every penny and then some. We will be back...if we don't buy a UTV of our own first

If you're heading to Zion, I highly recommend spending a half day with these guys! I've rented side by sides several times so I intended to choose the half day rental. Bill suggested the waterfall tour instead and I'm so glad he did! The tour was just our group but they sent us with a guide car. The guide took us on the gnarliest route up and down canyons, through rivers, over vistas and to a fun waterfall where the kids could swim. All... the tour doesn't rob you of any of the fun, but only makes it easier to find your way and stay out of trouble. No one wants to get stranded with a flat. Also their machines are the best. Book it! It's a blast!!

The best experience you'll have in Zion area. Saving a day for this atv tour is a MUST. My wife, a 9-year-old, 15- year- old, and I ranked this #1 over all other experiences from our 5 day stay in Zion. Kerry was the best guide for our Torquerville Falls tour and added an extra route after scheduled time.

Absolutely remarkable tour from Bill. If you want an authentic, gorgeous, unforgettable, enjoyable, memorable, amazing time! Then call Bill at Utah Offroad Tours. :) my 3 teenagers, my husband and I had a blast and we'll be talking about this tour for years to come. I wish everyone could experience what we did. It was magical. Thank you Bill!!! He's also a great book of information, facts and great stories! I HIGHLY recommend!

Amazing time, really enjoyed the experience and didn't feel rushed at all. This tour has me wanting to plan a longer one. We took a 4 hour tour and Bill took the time to get photos for us at specific stops and while on the trails. Family owned business that will definitely have my business in the future. Depending on what time of day you go and temperature I'd suggest layering. Bill had coolers with drinks and snacks already setup up for us. Bill is an outstanding guy who was very down to earth and added to the experience with his commentary and little bit of history. Bill may take a little time to get back with you as he the one providing tours, so be patient as he's focusing on providing an outstanding experience.

Booked this same day and it was amazing! Our guide was very safety conscious and great to be around. Staff took time to go over everything before leaving. Ride to the falls was beautiful and to the tower lookout was great too. Lots of stops to see stuff and would highly recommend!!

ATV fun by a guy who cares and wants to give his guests the best experience. Take the tour for sure! Bill's outfit has coms that let you stay in touch with those in your ATV as well as the guide. Easy to ride for beginners and technical and fast for those with experience, the scenery around Hurricane can't be beat. Highly recommend this outfit!

I was considering doing a UTV rental for the week that I was in St. George area with my children. On my drive to Zion, I drove past numerous places and made note of each one so that I could check on them later. The last one I drove past was Utah Offroad Tours in Laverkin. As a result, on my way back from Zion they were the first place I stopped in. Turns out that they were the only place I needed to stop. I met with Mike who was very friendly and welcomed me in to come learn about the tours. Once inside, we met with the owner who is also very friendly. Overall, I was surprised at the rates, and they were very accommodating in helping me plan a time and a tour that works best for my schedule. Last night as our final adventure on our trip, we met up at the shop and started our tour with Mike as our guide and Brian as backup. Mike took us through Sand Hollow Recreation Area and we had a blast. He was very relaxed and friendly throughout the entire tour. He shared some fun and informative information about the area, and took us to some beautiful scenic overlooks as well as onto some super fun trails. The vehicles were awesome! They ran fantastic, they were very comfortable and smooth especially at high-speed, and they performed perfectly on all types of terrain. With each vehicle, a cooler full of ice, drinks, and snacks were provided. This was honestly the perfect experience to cap off what has been a fun but personally and emotionally difficult trip. We were able to take our focus off of other things, and really just enjoy a fantastic ride. Would I recommend this place to others? I already have. Videos and texts went out to friends and family along with my recommendation and suggestion that we all get together and come do another tour with Utah off-road tours. Thank you everyone, look forward to the next time. The Robbins Family. Las Vegas.

Best place to go to for ATV guided tours! I had called multiple atv's companies in Utah by Zion National Park for a group of 9 and all had terrible customer service or high prices. Utah Bill provided One of the best customer service, low prices and overall is a fun guy. We had the best 4 hour tour of Sand Hallows and the valley getting to there. Bill had made us take stops at the best places to view Utah and get Quality A photos. We for sure had fun and know you will too if you tour will Bill. We for sure will be going back to Utah just to go for another ride and maybe the next stop will be the Grand Canyon! You still owe us those hotdogs Bill! We're holding you to it! We would also like to say Thank you to Bill for making our trip one of the best trips ever and hope to See you next summer!

Called 3 days prior to the tour to reserve a trip. Even though it was off season Bill was great in accommodating us. Side by side was in great condition and the ride was fun and Bill was amazing talking and explaining all the cool spots and stories of Utah. Took the 3hr tour to the sand dunes. Definitely a good experience and Bill made it that much cooler. Next trip back up to Zion will be stopping by again. "What time is it!?.."

He was very personable and knowledgeable about the area. We had great conversation which made the ride to our destination fly by! This particular tour had a bit of everything. We saw some dinosaur tracks, petroglyphs, silver mines and a stop at the Virgin River. We love the Utah landscape and all of its beauty. Only thing I can say is that I should have booked an earlier tour to avoid some of the heat but that was my fault. I mean, Utah in late July- what was I thinking?! All in all, Darryl was amazing, the tour was an adventure and I'd do it all again, just at a different time of day. These tours are well worth the time as they are a great way to see Utah off the beaten paths in a really cool Humvee. They are very reasonably priced and I highly recommend more people do them with Red Rock Humvee Tours!

On our most recent trip to Springdale, I booked a canyoneering trip with Tyler, not doing any…read moreresearch at all. I had no prior knowledge about rappelling and did not know that I would be descending down 100+ goddam feet of canyon cliffs. On the day of our trip, not caring to read the confirmation e-mail, our party drove from Springdale to Hurricane, the address on their web page only to discover that the coordinates were incorrect. Calling Tyler and finding out the meeting place was in Springdale, I told him if he could wait and that I would be there in 25 minutest tops. That 25 minutes turned into an hour as the meeting place is at the opposite side of Zion National Park's entrance. You have to drive through the park, and because you are driving up canyons, you can only go 10-15 mph tops. In addition, the park rangers halt traffic for the dumbest things, aka a little dust cloud that was most likely kicked up by two kids. When we finally got to the meeting site, I expected Tyler and the waiting party to leave without us or stomp us out. However, they were extremely patient and friendly, and if they hated us, hid it quite well. After accepting our profuse rounds of apologies, we got into the car and drove to the hiking point. We had two tour guides that day, Tyler and Bruce. Bruce, driving the SUV, was extremely friendly and you could immediately see his passion for the great outdoors. He pointed out historic places along the drive and made us feel immediately at home. We quickly became friends with the guides and the other party. To be quite honest, I am not a hiker or even a lover of the outdoors. I like it in small doses but I am in now way a tree hugger. However, Tyler and Bruce made this 10 hour excursion really fun. The hike was strenuous and casualties were suffered - a mother suffered a strained calf and her two kids were too scared after rappel #3 and had to hike back. The weather was beautiful and the canyons were just majestic. The scenery was beautiful however, 10 hours of anything will make you despise it. Haha. The main part of the tour were the 10 rappels with the first being a 60 ft. drop. When I saw that, I nearly shat a brick. I am scared of heights, however, love the thrill of the feeling when you finish. However, the scariest part was just walking over the ledge. Tyler and Bruce were extremely patient and encouraged us and gave us the will. Let me tell you one thing - the will to survive is very strong. There were some thoughts of throwing in the white flag, however, once you are able to conquer the initial steps, the rest gets easy. Kudos to Bruce and Tyler enduring #1 rappel...it literally took an hour to get all of us down. The full tour has 10 rappels with the shortest being 20-30 ft. and the longest 100 ft. When you go down, you are literally shuffling down like a cockroach inch by inch. It is pretty pathetic when you re-watch your vides you shot. However, Tyler and Bruce just bound down the lines. Goddam them for showing us up. They make you feel very safe, however, this is not a sport for the high maintenance. You will get cut and scraped, muddied and have wet socks. Oh yah, Tyler has these cookies that will make you revert to cookie monster form. They were delicious and I hogged a bag of them, refusing to share which almost caused a debacle with KDer. Tyler had to hike the two kids and their mom back, leaving us with only Bruce. If they had reservations or concerns, they certainly hid it and even with one guide, we were able to complete our excursion. It actually got a lot easier. Our tour lasted about 10 hours and if you bring up my name, they will gleefully tell you the tale of woe. Tyler and Bruce's words exactly: "we never guided a tour like this...you guys were the slowest". Hahaha. After, we got dinner with them at Zion Pizza and Noodle and were able to dine as chums. Tyler owns the company while Bruce helps out. The first thing you will see is their passion. Bruce is more vocal about it and you can tell and will find that he lives, breathes, shits the outdoors. Tyler is more muted but it is a joy to see two individuals making a living of what they love. They both relish passing on their passion to you, explaining the wonders of Zion, taking 100+ pics of everyone, saving lives. They will also allow themselves to be used as a foothold in case you are in a precarious position and need footing. I am glad that I can call them friends and definitely recommend you book with them. They will become your friends and you and your party will bond in ways you cannot imagine. In addition, if you are a tourist, they will answer questions you have about Mormons, questions you have inside but are scared to ask in fear of being ignorant. cliffs: -most exhilarating, death defying, raddest trip ever -all you can eat (for me) cookies baked by Tyler's mother-in-law -all you can eat Gardettos -one chicken pasta sandwich -5 STARS

This review is actually about a year overdue, since we did our canyoneering trip in August 2011…read more But I have to come back and talk about it because of the wonderful experience we had. It is definitely something I'll never forget, because I always enjoy doing outdoor activities and the canyoneering sounded like a great way to take in the beautiful Utah scenery and try something new like rappelling. First we met the guides, Tyler and Bruce, at the lodge where we were staying just outside of Zion National Park. They told us a little bit about where we were going and what we were going to do that day and then we took off for an interesting drive with lots of off-road terrain in the bumpy desert. The four people in my family were paired up with a mom and two relatively young daughters, and I was a little bit worried about how they were going to do on this seemingly difficult trip. Tyler and Bruce instructed us on how to put on our harnesses and our helmets, then told us to follow them and we walked straight off into the desert brush. Along the walk they acted as our nature guides, pointing out the local plants, even offering a sniff of desert pine needles, which had an amazing scent. They also showed us this "living soil" stuff and told us to step around it because if we stepped on this black-looking crust on the ground it would kill all the microorganisms that were in it. They were obviously really passionate about nature and I really appreciated the extra knowledge that we got just on the short walk that we took. But enough about the walk, let's get to the rappelling, which I'd actually been anxiously waiting for. We came to the first site and we couldn't even see the landing spot about 70 ft. below. Tyler and Bruce gave us a thorough talk and Bruce went down first to demonstrate and also to help us at the bottom. The most important thing is that they keep talking to you, all the way down. Sometimes a person would get nervous and stop on the way down, but I always felt very safe, even while walking horizontally down a frickin' cliff! We stopped for sandwiches on the canyon floor and endured some smaller descents without ropes. I learned on every slope that there is the normal way down, and then there is Bruce's way down. Tyler made fun of him because Bruce always chose a different, and more daring path than the rest of us, but he is the expert for a reason! We even started calling him Spider-Bruce because he could grip the rock like nobody else. Everyone in our group, even the younger girls, made it through the trip just fine. I was even toting my huge digital camera the whole time! Kudos to Tyler and Bruce for making it probably the best day of our entire vacation. I felt a real high of adrenaline after conquering that canyon, and came out of it knowing what cryptobiotic soil is! They really deserve all five stars for their skills as guides, and the quality of the whole experience. I would 100% recommend these guys to anyone who wants an outdoor experience they will remember, and even brag about.
