If i could give zero I would We got Todd, whom I believe is the owner, and he was condescending, belittling and just down right rude. If you wanted off the wall you were a whimp, and when confronted he tried to say his method was to encourage but really my daughter-in -law was almost in tears when he finally lowered her. We were suppose to be on a beginner outdoor climb session, and the last wall was far from a beginner wall. It seemed we were climbing what he wanted to climb instead o f the level of his clientele. Perfect all around! We took these guys for the family rock climbing. The spot was close and very fun. There were 3 different ascents of varying difficulty level. And, they added a harder one for me when I completed the other 3. The guides were very safe, personable, and helpful. We had kids ages 9-14 and 3 adults, and we all had fun. I'd recommend these guys again. Its a bit expensive, but totally worth it. read more

This was the only reserved activity for my family's trip in southern Utah and we loved it! In particular I would like to shout out/recommend/praise/thank Hiram for leading us through Yankie Doodle. When we got to a spot where my wife wasn't comfortable scaling, he (and the rest of the team would I am sure) did not try to force her/just continue to tell her "she could do it" - he problem solved us up and down the canyon! READ THIS REVIEW BEFORE YOU BOOK ZIPLINING. Our group of 11 did ziplining. We enjoyed the ziplining, and would have rated just the ziplining higher, but we had no idea it involved cliff climbing. There are a few things you need to know before booking. We've been ziplining before, and this was VERY different. First, it is NOT on location. You geared up and drove to the canyon, where they had set up zip lines that morning. Second, this is not a double zipline, just a single climbers robe, not a cable, stretched across the canyon (double line is much better for safety, if one line should break). Third, there are NO LADDERS or platforms. You do NOT zipline platform to platform! You must climb down the canyon cliff edge to reach the zipline AND then climb out up a rock canyon wall. Their description of "fitness, strength" is WOEFULLY inaccurate. From their website; Appropriate Ages: 5- 80 Strength: ability to climb an 8 foot ladder leaning against a house Aerobic: ability to walk up 3 flights of stairs I can do BOTH those things with ease. I'm a 5'3", 62 year old woman who walks/runs 4-6 miles a day. But I have had shoulder surgery and not as limber as I once was. There were areas climbing out where I was told to take a step up as high as my hip, on the edge of a cliff, no less! By the time I was helped out (boosted and pulled up), I was scrapped, bloodied and bruised. There is one area you are belayed, but other than them telling you where to put your feet, you're on your own. You do the same 2 ziplines twice. Each time, climbing down to the zipline on the edge of the canyon cliff and climbing up the rock wall out. 3 of us opted NOT to go on the second time around. But when it came time to pay, we were charged the full price! This is totally unfair because of their website description. I would NOT have gone at all, had I known of the climb in and out on the edge of the rocky cliff! As far as video, it took over a week to get them. Not everyone even made the video. A positive note; our guides/helpers, Maggie, Leo and Hyram, were very nice and professional. They did their jobs well. read more

I went on a ride this morning with, Hyrum, and he was a great guy and just made the ride and trip really awesome. I would highly recommend this place and him. They made the trip so easy with no gear of my own. Picked me up and took me to the shop to get outfitted and all of the gear was top notch. We rode, Bearclaw Poppy this morning on Mountain Bikes and had a great time. We did get lucky and had the best weather in weeks. Great group and outfit, I would highly recommend them and I will be joining them again soon. read more

What an incredible experience! An absolute must-do! We never saw anyone else during our adventure (we did the Summer Adventure. There adventures are private so it was just my husband and I and the staff). The staff are professionals, great people, and take pride in ensuring your experience is memorable. They were also great at gauging how far to challenge you so that you get the best experience possible (had a nice, much needed nap when we got back to the hotel). We used Paragon Adventures with our ATV & Jeep adventure tour. The ATV part of the trip was amazing. The Paragon part not so good.. The female guide was amazing the male guide was very rude. He yelled at 3 of our 6 people. He made our 9 year old cry. This was supposed to be a fun time to help get their minds off hard times. My sister just lost her husband and at one point the male guide said to our 9 year old.. Whats the worst that's going to happen are you going to die! NOT what you say ever but clearly not for our situation. My sister had to yell at him for talking to her that way. I would not recommend this company please find another Zip Line to use! read more

If you truly want to experience the outdoors in beautiful, southern Utah, book a trip with Paragon. While the costs of any guided tour might seem a little discouraging at first, they're worth it when you consider that your tour guides can take you to places that you couldn't navigate yourself without the experience. Utah is full of public lands that aren't a part of the National Parks system, and the Paragon guides know them well. You will see and experience natural wonders and physical challenges that you couldn't experience on your own. That said, I wouldn't suggest booking the tour through Zion because you CAN do that without a guide! Go for it, and try rappelling, climbing, or canyoneering instead. You won't regret it! We booked three tours with Paragon for our family vacation last year: canyoneering, mountain biking, and a family adventure combo. The Paragon guides were knowledgeable, experienced, and very friendly and accomodating. We took our two boys--8 and 10. The boys immediately became attached to our guides (Sorry, I waited too long to write the review, and I forget names!), and their relationships only grew as the week progressed. The Paragon staff even took the time to play with the boys in the climbing room after every adventure, teaching them new climbing techniques and rewarding them with prizes for jobs well done. I have had numerous experiences with outdoor activities from high ropes to low ropes courses, rafting down the Grand Canyon et cetera. I booked my family on a canyonering trip with high expectations and was not disappointed. My youngest is 10 years old and is not very coordinated. Whereas my oldest is very active and could do the hiking and rappelling quite easily. I was worried that the experience might be too difficult for some and too easy for others in my family. The guides did an exceptional job making sure that everyone had a great time and it was challenging for all in just the right way. The experience created a wonderful family memory. What was really nice is they provide you with a CD with pictures that The guides take. They know how to take the pictures so it captures all the light in the canyons. This by far was the highlight of our trip. We look forward to doing yet another adventure with Paragon. Quick tip, bring your own snacks. We brought Uncrustables from the grocery store which slowly thawed during our trip and was a perfect snack rather than buying the $20 per person lunches. Also you will save 5% if you pay in cash. Make sure you bring Enough cash to tip your guides. They work really hard and again did an exceptional job. read more

We just had our first family zip line adventure... and im so HAPPY that we choose Paragon adventures. These guys are amazing from the owner Todd ,to the guides. Thay are Professional, Helpful, knowledgebale and funny too ! They make you feel comfortable and will ease you into the zipline course, especially if you are a chicken like me !!!!!!! They do not rush you , they will talk you through any fears or concerns you are having. I cant tell you how great our experience was with these guys. Saftey is key and they know their stuff ! We signed up for the canopy zipline tour which included 5 different zip lines with some hiking to each line. We had our 14 year son with us who LOVED it right away, but myself need a little convincing OK ALOT !!!! LOL BUT I AM SO GLAD I DID IT !!! It was a wonderful experince, one we will never forget so I THANK YOU GUYS for making a special family memory for us. AND thanks for being my HEREO when I missed the rope and was sent back dangling over the pool ! Lol my fault.. no worries, haha just good times. I even recommend them to our ATv driver Tyson at a different co, who for sure is going to take his buddies there too zipline too.
