If you were to look at yoga studios in town, for the same price you will not only get a yoga studio, but a fitness facility and rock climbing! They also have free classes to members like a fitness class and other helpful classes. My favorite part about this gym is the vibe. Very friendly staff, management and people at the gym. They have a friendly atmosphere and so many people are willing to connect and be helpful for new people or people wanting to climb with someone. You won't find any "gym bro" type people. They are constantly changing climbing routes, so you will never get bored! I also appreciate they don't have hidden fees or contracts. If you want to pause your membership at anytime you can (for a nominal fee) as this avoids the signup fee. Definitely recommend!

It has been months since I've had the opportunity to climb, and I definitely felt it on the wall today. Everything was hard! I wish we caught the name of the staff member who helped us because she was fantastic! As she was checking us off for top rope, she immediately recognized that one of us was experienced while the other was not, and she offered some gratuitous and helpful advice to my partner. She also gave me some great recommendations on local outdoor spots to check out. Thank you! In terms of the climbing, this place is solid. There are top rope, lead, bouldering, and a training area. The setting was just right, and everything is still clean and new. One complaint that my partner had was the difficulty with belaying with the large-diameter static rope, but I found this to be pretty standard in gyms for longevity. Aside from the slab wall, you may need to put a little extra "oomph" in your belay on top rope. I didn't get to lead, as my partner has no experience in this, but watching some of the other climbers, the routes looked to flow well. We came on a weekday afternoon, and it was nearly empty! However, we were told that a few weeks ago, people had to be turned away because it was jam packed after the snow. I can certainly see this being a very busy gym. If I lived in St. George, then I'd definitely have a membership here. The pricing is excellent, and this gym has a lot to offer, including yoga and a fitness area. Even today, I saw a number of people just sitting on their computers, probably doing work with the free wifi. Furthermore, the locker rooms are clean, and they offer quality feminine products at no charge! If you're in the area, come get some fun and challenging climbs in at Contact!

We live close to the park and have hiked most of the trails. But this one is a hidden treasure that even the Park Manager didn't know about. Hat's off to Jim Martinson (the owner/guide) for: his love of nature, spirit of adventure, and finding & sharing this trail. It's under 3 miles round trip and only a 500' elevation gain, but spectacular views. And some stair-like climbs that are an adrenaline rush! No ropes, but some definite exposure in one spot. The guides; Jim, Martha and Joel, were fantastic! They were very organized, super helpful & friendly and talked about the trail, the geology and life in general. And they very much stressed safety. It was a lot of fun and the quickest 3 hours & best money spent in a long time. Will watch their website, can't wait for another trip.

From the moment we met him, Zack MADE the tour. He was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and attentive, literally anticipating questions my friend had before they even asked them, which instantly made them feel reassured and comfortable. We wanted to do something memorable during our trip to Zion and decided to go with Red Desert after our research online. Booking was easy, we were able to get same day reservation on the July 4th weekend. Our guide, Eric was amazing. He was calm, patient and pushed us just the right amount outside our comfort level for us to come back with great memories from the trip. Our kids, ages 9 and 11 did great. For one of the sheer drops, he did a tandem for our younger one. This was a private tour, the equipment felt clean and we felt safe and informed throughout our adventure. Can't recommend enough!

Our tour guide, Al, showed us such an amazing experience! He was friendly, patient, funny, knowledgeable of the area, and of course, has tons of stories to share! Super laid back and very professional! Depending on the amount of people you with, the price of canyoneering will decrease. Before you go on the trip, make sure you use the bathroom. The drive up to Lambs Knoll was about 30mins and the hike up was about another 30 mins. Instructions and safety took about 10 mins and next thing you know, you're strapped up and ready to go! With a group of 4, Al made each of us feel comfortable on each course. He didn't rush us off the mountain and even offered to continue on to do more rappelling. If we didn't leave our mom on a souvenir shopping spree for 4 hours, I would've agreed for more! He even made me feel all skinny believing that I can squeeze myself between the slot canyons!! Haha! That was an adventure in and of itself. The Slot Canyons were one of my top 10 things to do while living in Utah and I'm glad I got to see how beautiful it is in person. The pictures below doesn't do any justice to actually being there and touching the walls. If you are looking to get killed…read more.. My husband, brother and i booked a weekend with them back in October and had Rob as a guide. Even though they are not doing guides at the Zion itself they are "selling it". Therefore and because the weather forecast did not look to good for the whole area they recommended the north wash area. We went in the same corner were the movie was made with the guy who got stuck in the canyon and cut off his arm. But we did not know that at that time. But here comes the thing they put money first before safety! We asked several times if it is safe to go and if it wouldn't be better to cancel because of weather. They refused. We went in an area he had no clue in which fork we went for Canyoneering. And afterwards I discovered that the locals there had cancelled all trips for that weekend due weather forecast and storm. He put us right into it!!!! We trusted them and their experience!!! They clearly don't have. They may be climbers but that does not help if you don't know the area We spend the night stuck in the canyon after exhausting hours climbing through the canyon through way to narrow spots. And we went right into a flash flood!! And whole night of thunderstorms and rain, clustered together on an edge under us above us everywhere water. Our phones died because our guide did not have light with him and he refused later reimburse our stuff. Our fault he said. Our trip took us almost 30 hours of nightmare. And next morning a rescue team where on their way to look for us not because the company was worried no because nice people next to our camping ground realized we did not come back before the storm started. Make sure you book trip with locals and they do trips in an area they really know! By they way we did not get an apology just a free trip for a better experience instead of money back (we asked for our money back to donate somewhere because they clearly did not deserve it)! Who the hell would do a second trip after such a nightmare! Greedy for money with no care for the people who just want a nice and safe experience out in nature
