Our tour guide, Al, showed us such an amazing experience! He was friendly, patient, funny, knowledgeable of the area, and of course, has tons of stories to share! Super laid back and very professional! Depending on the amount of people you with, the price of canyoneering will decrease. Before you go on the trip, make sure you use the bathroom. The drive up to Lambs Knoll was about 30mins and the hike up was about another 30 mins. Instructions and safety took about 10 mins and next thing you know, you're strapped up and ready to go! With a group of 4, Al made each of us feel comfortable on each course. He didn't rush us off the mountain and even offered to continue on to do more rappelling. If we didn't leave our mom on a souvenir shopping spree for 4 hours, I would've agreed for more! He even made me feel all skinny believing that I can squeeze myself between the slot canyons!! Haha! That was an adventure in and of itself. The Slot Canyons were one of my top 10 things to do while living in Utah and I'm glad I got to see how beautiful it is in person. Booking was easy, we were able to get same day reservation on the July 4th weekend. Our guide, Eric was amazing. He was calm, patient and pushed us just the right amount outside our comfort level for us to come back with great memories from the trip. Our kids, ages 9 and 11 did great. For one of the sheer drops, he did a tandem for our younger one. This was a private tour, the equipment felt clean and we felt safe and informed throughout our adventure. Can't recommend enough!

If you were to look at yoga studios in town, for the same price you will not only get a yoga studio, but a fitness facility and rock climbing! They also have free classes to members like a fitness class and other helpful classes. My favorite part about this gym is the vibe. Very friendly staff, management and people at the gym. They have a friendly atmosphere and so many people are willing to connect and be helpful for new people or people wanting to climb with someone. You won't find any "gym bro" type people. They are constantly changing climbing routes, so you will never get bored! I also appreciate they don't have hidden fees or contracts. If you want to pause your membership at anytime you can (for a nominal fee) as this avoids the signup fee. Definitely recommend!

It has been months since I've had the opportunity to climb, and I definitely felt it on the wall today. Everything was hard! I wish we caught the name of the staff member who helped us because she was fantastic! As she was checking us off for top rope, she immediately recognized that one of us was experienced while the other was not, and she offered some gratuitous and helpful advice to my partner. She also gave me some great recommendations on local outdoor spots to check out. Thank you! In terms of the climbing, this place is solid. There are top rope, lead, bouldering, and a training area. The setting was just right, and everything is still clean and new. One complaint that my partner had was the difficulty with belaying with the large-diameter static rope, but I found this to be pretty standard in gyms for longevity. Aside from the slab wall, you may need to put a little extra "oomph" in your belay on top rope. I didn't get to lead, as my partner has no experience in this, but watching some of the other climbers, the routes looked to flow well. We came on a weekday afternoon, and it was nearly empty! However, we were told that a few weeks ago, people had to be turned away because it was jam packed after the snow. I can certainly see this being a very busy gym. If I lived in St. George, then I'd definitely have a membership here. The pricing is excellent, and this gym has a lot to offer, including yoga and a fitness area. Even today, I saw a number of people just sitting on their computers, probably doing work with the free wifi. Furthermore, the locker rooms are clean, and they offer quality feminine products at no charge! If you're in the area, come get some fun and challenging climbs in at Contact!

Initially I wasn't really sure what you expect from a Jeep tour, but I was pleasantly surprised by the fun, off the beaten path experience that we had taking the sunset tour. I was a bit leery of the Jeep and thinking it may or may not break down on a dirt road without cellular signal, but all is well that ends well. The ride was scenic and bumpy and an all around good time. Our tour guide was Zach(Zack?) and he was Ah-mazing. He was a great driver, funny, interesting, informative, and an all around joy to be around for our three hour tour. He shared lots of information on our surroundings, asked a lot of questions about our trip, and made a lot of great recommendations for our stay near Zion. If you can get him as your guide, you'll be in great hands. Overall a lovely time with spectacular views.

This was a thrilling hike and definitely a national park bucket list item to check off! We were…read morelucky to both get next day lottery permits for Friday afternoon, but it turns out there were no rangers stationed there in the afternoon. I have heard rangers are usually only there in the morning, so one could probably hike without permits if you wait for later in the day. Including breaks and 20 minutes at the top, we took three hours in total. Even in March, it was hot, and I probably should've brought more than 1.5 L of water. I logged a 4.8-4.9 mile hike from the Grotto trailhead up to Angels Landing and back down again. The hike up to Scout Lookout was challenging because of the elevation, while Angels Landing was more challenging due to the technical aspect. They have chains to hold on to in most of the sections. People brought their young children to hike, which I think is irresponsible and dangerous when one small slip could mean a tumble down the canyon.
