It's decorated for Christmas right now with a big, beautiful tree that lights up at night. I felt very calm and relaxed here. If you've got kids, or you just live animals, they have a petting zoo and you can buy some carrots to feed the animals. There are plenty of trinkets and mementos here to commemorate your trip. I won't beat around the bush anymore, the most fantastic thing sold here is the turquoise and silver jewelry. They've got a wide range of small to large pieces, you can get into as little or as much trouble as you want to here with a small ring, or a big necklace, chunky cuff, a matching set of earrings, big ornate rings - they've got it all. Navajo, Zuni, Hopi, needlework, clusterwork, inlay, squash blossom necklaces, concho belts, hammer, stamp, and file work, silver Navajo pearls, etc. They even have some Sleeping Beauty turquoise! If you're a jewelry person, or someone who has to stop at the gift shop everywhere you go - THIS is the place! I've been twice and can't wait to go back. Worth the stop!

Large mature trees for shade with nice grassy areas. This will remind you of your smaller hone town parks. It's never really over ran with people. And it's hidden deep inside a residential area. Restrooms are always open and kept clean with supplies.

Enjoyed the majority of the time until two enormous ducks arrived expecting to be feed. They were like 40 lbs, what do people feed them? Lonny Boy's? They were wagging their tails and were surprisingly quick for their size. We moved three times and but they continued to follow us expecting their share, so we had to depart.

Popped in on my drive north to Salt Lake City to play some disc golf. An 18 hole course with a…read moremoderate play level. Lots of open shots. Some levels of difficulty, especially near the water. Saw a guy in a wet suit and flippers, diving into the water to recover discs that had fallen. I lost two discs here on hole 8. Sad day. The park itself was quiet midday when I arrived. It's well kept and maintained. The grounds keeper was onsite maintaining it during my time there.
