We had an amazing experience doing the Top of the World tour. Our guide was Dave and we couldn't have asked for a better guide. He has decades of riding experience, so we had a great time playing around on our UTV and felt safe the whole time. He showed us amazing spots and incredible views, helped us take some awesome photos, and got us back on time. Snacks and water were provided, and we got to do a couple of stops at bathrooms which was nice. We can't wait to come back.
Decided to book this tour to do something fun while we were on an anniversary trip and this tour didn't disappoint! Our guide, Dave, was knowledgeable, personable, and made it truly unforgettable with the way he showed us around Sand Hollow and engaged us for our 3 hour tour. He not only had wonderful stories and fun facts but made us appreciate his passion for riding and touring, and he sure knows how to ride! If you can ask for a particular guide I would pick Dave (not that I think you'd get a bad one) but he really made sure we enjoyed our time and had us already planning our next experience with ATV Offroad Adventures!
Super fun - great value! When I told my husband I had booked the tour, he thought it was going to be a slow paced, follow the leader in a slow line type deal. We have been on several snow mobile tours like that. This is not that kind of tour. In fact, we owned a UTV in the past and he said he's never had more fun on a UTV than we did on the tour. Everything from riding high up the sides of sand dunes, zig zagging through banks on a trail, bouncy hills, speeding through the straight aways, and breathtaking scenic overlooks. Kids enjoyed eating their weight in snacks (provided) and making snow angels. Had plenty of time to climb around on rocks and even learn some cool history and geology from our guide, Rhett. We did the sunset tour, which was awesome because we got plenty of time to play in the sun without it being overwhelmingly hot, and ended with a magnificent sunset over the mountains. Definitely wear long shorts or leggings. Bring a hair tie. We used our son's booster (even though he's 8 so technically didn't need it) so he could see better out the windows. My daughter loved switching off with me and riding up front with dad. One of our favorite memories of the trip to Utah. Thanks ATV & JEEP Adventures!
So happy we picked this company for our Spring Break excursion (March '23). We were staying in St. George with another family and wanted to do something fun to experience the beauty of Utah. The Half Day Adventure (4 hrs) was perfect. Honestly, I had a little bit of sticker shock (~$700 per UTV) but it was so worth it. First off, Sand Hollow State Park is amazing. But this company was responsive, friendly, and above all Paul was the best dang tour guide ever. We really got lucky, our tour was just our group, 2 UTVs (7 people) and Paul on his quad. It was pretty cold and drizzly when we were about to start (it even hailed on the trail!) and Paul said we could get a refund but I'm glad he convinced us to still go out. He took us to so many cool sites, gave us so much info, and was a pro photographer too. If you don't own off road equipment and want an experienced guide, I definitely recommend this group.
**MUST READ** WORTH EVERY PENNY. This was the most fun my family and I have had in a long time. The guides, Dave, Paul, & Dan are fantastic. If i was their boss, i would give them a raise. They were super nice, chill, informative and kept us all safe. 100% recommend for anyone or any family.
I had the time of my friggin life. Huge shoutouts to Cary, Dave, and Paul for showing me a good time! This was a last minute addition to my Zion itinerary, but thankfully they had an opening for a half-day sunset adventure when I called. Communication leading up to the tour was excellent; they send a confirmation email upon booking, and a reminder email a few days before your tour with everything you need to know. In terms of getting there, the directions couldn't have been more clear. I was coming from Las Vegas and was afraid I'd get lost without GPS, but I followed the directions to a T and had no issues whatsoever finding my way. Alternatively, you could probably route your GPS to Sand Hollow State Park and then follow the provided directions from that point on. The first half-hour was gearing up and going over rules and the ATVs/UTVs, then you hit the dunes. They recommend that you leave any loose articles/valuables (sunglasses, wallets, watches, etc.) in your car so you don't lose them on the ride since it'll get bumpy, but there's also a back compartment to secure your things. I had a hard time to start, but Dave and Paul were super helpful and gave me some tips to get a better handle of the ATV. I got the hang of it during the latter half of the ride! We made a few stops to check out some points of interest, but honestly the entire ride was beautiful sights in all directions. There wasn't a single dull moment. They also offer snacks and *COLD* bottled water, which was much appreciated in the heat. The tour ended with a ride into the sunset along the shore, which couldn't have been more perfect. It's almost been a month since I did the tour and I still have withdrawals. I'll most definitely be back for the backcountry tour. A definite must if you're in the area, it's a great complement to Zion. If you come across Dave or Paul, tell 'em Peter sent you!
We went on a four hour sunset tour and it was great! Online scheduling was easy and all communication before the trip made sure there was nothing to do once we arrived. Their equipment is top-notch, well taken care of and newer. Our guide Ron made sure everyone understood how to use the equipment and that everyone understood the safety rules. My wife is not very mechanically inclined but Ron made sure to get her ATV started back up after every stop we made. We have been on lots of ATV tours, but this was definitely the most fun! The BLM land where you ride is expansive. It ranges from some rocky areas to lots of sand dunes. Being so wide open you can really go fast in some areas. The views back towards the state park and the lake are really great. Ron was very knowledgeable about the local area and the geology. Snacks and water are provided on the tour. We were all riding ATVs, but they had UTVs available as well, so this would be a great tour for families and kids. There are numerous options for ATV tours in this area, but ATV and Jeep Adventure Tours is highly recommend it.
Came to Utah to visit Zion National Park and stayed in Hurricane. My wife and I wanted to rent some buggies to run around in the desert with a guide. We chose this place because we wanted to see the dinosaur tracks, petroglyphs, and old fort in addition to driving the buggies around. Dave was our guide and was knowledgeable and friendly. We had a great time and got to learn some things along the way. The trails were a good mix of going fast and going slow with lots of turns. I would have preferred more trails and hills but we still had a great time. The trails were beginner trails and didn't require any technical driving skills (for hill or rock climbing). Overall we had a great time and very happy we booked the tour!
Book this tour NOW! My boyfriend found this excursion for us to try out on our way back from hiking in Zion National Park. We noticed from the get go that the whole trip was well organized with clear instructions on how to get to the meet up spot. We booked 2 two-seater ATVs for the half day sunset tour as we were a party of 4. The tour was guided by Ron and Dave. They got us geared up and provided us with our choice of a white or black face muffler to use/keep (it was super stretchy and breathable). There was a minor hiccup during the first hour of the tour, we had to stop multiple times because another participant did not feel comfortable operating the ATV. Dave and Ron made the executive decision to split our group into two. We were extremely pleased and happy with how they managed the split since they wanted us to get the full experience of riding at a faster speed since the other individual was only driving at a speed of roughly 8-10mph. Ron eventually led our group through the sand dunes and brought us to this section called Jurassic Park. Overall, we had a great experience and I cannot emphasize this enough. Ron's friendly demeanor and knowledge of the sand hollow state park was the cherry on top of it all. Not only that, since it was particularly hot the weekend of our tour, Ron made sure we stayed hydrated with cold water bottles and offered us a bag of snacks to ensure we weren't hungry. 10/10 would recommend this tour to all our friends and family.

We had such a great time with William as our tour guide through the Sand Hollow area! We used ATV Offroad bc they were the only outfitters that has single seat ATVs and, well, all five of us wanted to drive! We had a new rider and William, with the help of Dave, were very patient and helpful in making our new rider feel safe and included in everything. We loved that we made stops along the way to learn about the area and the geography, and bc driving for 4 hours straight would have been a little miserable. I HIGHLY recommend this company if you are going to rent ATVs or UTVs in the area. Thanks for a great time! Highlight of our trip. read more

Shout out to this company! Well communicated and super kind. We were delayed because there was a car accident that blocked entrance to state hallow park had to detour took us back a little, but Monica receptionist super friendly when we called to let them know, they did not leave us :) when we couldn't find Location she directed us with clear instructions. Even when I called and phone line was busy I got a phone call back right away. Dave was the most kind tour guide super interactive and patient. Took us to some really cool spots to take pictures and just had some clean fun riding the trails and side walls of the mountain which was super fun. You will get alot of dirt to take home as souvenirs in your shoes/hair/face/clothes after the trip for sure. Don't wear fancy clothes. We did the sunset tour in Nov. It was nice weather in beginning but when heading back it was cold!!!! Be prepared. Company does provide sunglasses, gloves, helmet and a gift mask. This trip was amazing!!! From the very start, friendly and professional staff. Ron, our tour guide, made it such a fun experience from interesting facts of our surroundings, stopping at gorgeous views and providing delicious lunches and waters. Bar 10 Ranch was so unique and we loved the serenity of the area, comfortable accommodations, fun activities available and hearty meals, also provided. The unique view of the Grand Canyon is one that you can only see from that location. What a special memory we were able to create together! I would recommend this specific tour for any couple, groups of friends or family - you are going to create such priceless memories together !! And I will choose ATV & Jeep adventures for any future adventures! read more

By far the best part of our trip! We ended up booking an ATV super last minute but they were able to fit us in for the sunset ride and luckily had a spare 2-seater available. The views were incredible and we were able to stop and walk around several times to explore and have impromptu photo sessions. Our instructor, Alan, was so helpful throughout the tour- ensuring everyone was comfortable and offering anything from an extra coat, to water, to snacks, and even swapping out our tinted glasses for clear ones when the sun went down. A few people in the tour had zero experience with ATVs but by the end of it were keeping up no problem. Definitely for all experience levels! Luckily for us we only saw a handful of other people so pretty much had the park to ourselves. I would highly recommend this tour and will definitely do it again next time we're in town! read more

We did the Sunset tour with Cary on a Tuesday afternoon the first week of February and had a total and complete blast! We were a small group with a couple of more advanced riders and a beginner and Cary made it fun for all. He was super patient and offered gentle guidance for our newbie (my hubs). The scenery was beautiful; it's easy to see why folks come from all over the world to ride these dunes. I loved the different tour options that ATV & Jeep had available. Definitely recommend them and will book again next time we're in the area. If you have free time while in St. George/surrounding area, treat yourself and book a tour - you won't regret it! read more

I went with my sister on this tour and we had the time of our lives. We have been on quite a few ATV tours, but this is by far the best one. The scenery was breathtaking and driving the ATVs was so much fun. Our tour guide Cary was awesome! He was friendly and made us feel comfortable and confident while driving the ATVs. Cary guided us through so many beautiful areas, and he gave us a lot of fascinating information about certain landmarks. Our favorite part was riding up and down the sand dunes! We recommend doing this tour if you ever come to Utah. We would definitely come back and do this again! read more

We decided to book a sunset ATV tour for the last night of our weeklong vacation visiting the parks. HOLY MOLY I'm so glad we did. Carey was our guide and he gave me one of the best experiences of my life. We were total beginners on ATVs and Carey gave a perfect breakdown of the operation of the machines. He eased us onto the trails and once he realized we were comfortable, he opened it up. We covered so much ground, and saw so many beautiful areas! He made sure to check on us continuously and shared so much about the plants and history and such. 100% worth it. I can't say it enough. He took as many pictures as we asked of him and was glad to do it. We really felt like he truly cared about showing us an amazing time! This is experience was truly amazing! My brother and I did the 3 hour sunset ATV tour. Our guide, Allan, was very informative and kind. He took care of us and made sure we had the best time! By far the BEST experience I've ever had! Dave was an amazing tour guide!! He was extremely personable, professional, and knowledgeable. Everything was explained very clearly and engaging. I was thankful that Dave provided water and snacks for us throughout our tour. The trails and views were out of this world!! If your looking for awesome tour guides and amazing trails then this is the place to be. ATV and Jeep start off in Sand Hollow Park where your allowed to visit the man made reservoir.
