I recently purchased a grill and outdoor kitchen components from Charlotte Grill Company, and the…read moreexperience began to go sideways almost immediately after placing the order. We placed our order on March 21 and were told to expect delivery in approximately 2 weeks. In reality, the order was not delivered until April 29--over a month later. During that time, communication was consistently poor. I called the store multiple times for updates and was repeatedly told there were "issues at the distributor." However, when I contacted the distributor directly, I was told the items were in stock, which raises serious questions about what was actually happening with our order. When the delivery finally arrived, the experience deteriorated further. The grill and cabinets--both very heavy items--were simply left in the driveway. There was no attempt to coordinate delivery time, and no effort to place the items anywhere near the installation area. For products of this size and price point, this level of service is unacceptable. To make matters worse, the invoice listed a propane (LP) model, even though we had clearly discussed and intended to purchase a grill compatible with a direct natural gas line. This points to a lack of attention to detail and raises concerns about overall order accuracy. In total, we spent over $4,500 and received a level of service that fell well below expectations. While delays can happen, the combination of poor communication, questionable explanations, lack of follow-through, and careless delivery reflects a broader issue with how this business operates. We generally prefer to support local retailers, but in this case, we would have been far better off purchasing from a reputable online retailer where communication, order accuracy, and delivery expectations are clearly managed.

I was told they had an amazing selection of rubs and bbq sauces, but I didn't find that to be the case... They did have a decent selection, but not as many as I was expecting to find, but this could possibly be due to them relocating? They had a full selection of big green egg kamados as well plenty of accessories (eggsessories) for them and a nice selection of gas grills and some very high quality pizza ovens. I did grab a bag of lump charcoal while I was there as it's a brand I've never tried, and the price was very good. This definitely seems like the place to go for any custom grill setup you may want, and they can likely give you great advice too.

The agent claimed that they would take would now try and reclaim the tank. They had 5 years to come and reclaim this tank from the previous owner and they failed to do so. Statute of limitations are expired and this is now considered abandoned property. Shady company just trying to solicit unwanted subscription services and then assert claims based upon expired contracts that won't hold up in a court. Do not recommend business with this company.

I kept telling calling and telling them it was leaking and was told that they "could" send someone out but if they determine it's not leaking, they'll charge us for that too. After spending hundreds of dollars a month every month for an 800 square foot house, we FINALLY got them to check it and the service guy said it absolutely was leaking (no kidding, we could literally hear it hissing!) and replaced the lines. He told us we'd receive a credit for the previous months that we were charged. He was literally fired the next week and we never received a credit. We've also requested (for the past 2 YEARS) someone to give us a price on installing a heating unit in our garage. We were told they'd send someone out in a week or so. In 2 years time, we've asked more than 10x's. I ended up ordering a unit online and we have another company installing it this week. Customer Service is not their thing, neither is follow-thru.
