I recently purchased a grill and outdoor kitchen components from Charlotte Grill Company, and the…read moreexperience began to go sideways almost immediately after placing the order. We placed our order on March 21 and were told to expect delivery in approximately 2 weeks. In reality, the order was not delivered until April 29--over a month later. During that time, communication was consistently poor. I called the store multiple times for updates and was repeatedly told there were "issues at the distributor." However, when I contacted the distributor directly, I was told the items were in stock, which raises serious questions about what was actually happening with our order. When the delivery finally arrived, the experience deteriorated further. The grill and cabinets--both very heavy items--were simply left in the driveway. There was no attempt to coordinate delivery time, and no effort to place the items anywhere near the installation area. For products of this size and price point, this level of service is unacceptable. To make matters worse, the invoice listed a propane (LP) model, even though we had clearly discussed and intended to purchase a grill compatible with a direct natural gas line. This points to a lack of attention to detail and raises concerns about overall order accuracy. In total, we spent over $4,500 and received a level of service that fell well below expectations. While delays can happen, the combination of poor communication, questionable explanations, lack of follow-through, and careless delivery reflects a broader issue with how this business operates. We generally prefer to support local retailers, but in this case, we would have been far better off purchasing from a reputable online retailer where communication, order accuracy, and delivery expectations are clearly managed.

I was told they had an amazing selection of rubs and bbq sauces, but I didn't find that to be the case... They did have a decent selection, but not as many as I was expecting to find, but this could possibly be due to them relocating? They had a full selection of big green egg kamados as well plenty of accessories (eggsessories) for them and a nice selection of gas grills and some very high quality pizza ovens. I did grab a bag of lump charcoal while I was there as it's a brand I've never tried, and the price was very good. This definitely seems like the place to go for any custom grill setup you may want, and they can likely give you great advice too.

My wife and I discovered Oasis Pools after our friends told us they had gotten their patio furniture there after Oasis installed a pool for them. We had been to Firehouse and been disappointed...staff was not helpful. Oasis has a HUGE selection, more than the other stores we had been to that were supposed to be just patio furniture stores. I'd driven by Oasis before but always always thought it was just a pool store. A woman there was very helpful and made great recommendations on what furniture would fit our particular situation. The furniture we decided on was in stock and they delivered it a couple of days later. We got a great deal and the furniture is really nice. Everything has a price tag on it so you can tell how much everything is without having to ask. I'd highly recommend Oasis for patio furniture. read more

Just a couple things of note: 1. When we visited the store, I asked for a quote on the piece we loved. It was clear the associate was questioning how to enter in this piece as it was new for this year, mostly questioning what seat padding goes with it. Of note, to give me the quote she asked for my phone number, and actually stated it was just used for the quote but they would not be calling. 2. I called back as I wanted a different fabric that was quoted, and the person who answered the phone noticed the seating was inputted incorrectly. Luckily he was knowledgeable and corrected it. Who knows what would have happened if I went through my original order. 3. Kasbys advertises on social media lowest price guaranteed. I actually inquired about this as I found the same exact piece at 20% less with another small business. They came down slightly, but still not enough to support Kasbys. 4. After my inquiry on pricing, I ironically received a couple followup calls for my interest on ordering the piece. While we ended up buying the piece from another business, which is now bringing us much joy, I point out my review as Kasbys could have earned our business with some improvements.
