I have owned & operated a landscape/lawn care business in the Charlotte area continuously since the…read more1980's. An important part of any such business is the support you receive from your equipment trade account company. For many years, the reputable go-to for honest, reliable, truly friend-worthy service for all of my trade support services could be found at the business of Mack Blythe's establishment. When he retired, however, this superior service that I had come to expect retired with him. The new relationship I attempted to foster there for trade related services left me stung, harmed, & wary. It was crooked & I was dis-served! Three years ago I had had enough of any of the concerns operating anywhere nearby my location. I sucked it up & tried a business a little furthur from my location. ***That would be Joshua Joubert's Interstate Supplies & service.*** I was naturally wary there, too, but with each visit, my concerns were rendered unwarranted. This is a family operation, Just like Mack Blythe's business was. You can go in and you will be met by a team of friends, family & associates. Joshua, Bill, Marie, Jennifer, Cliff, Mary, Terry, Mackenzie, Mrs. Joubert, to name a few, are ready to assist. And they know why they are there, too, each one of them. Their store is a larger complex of connected buildings with each area designed to operate as one big service concern: parts, service, sales, phone support, etc. it is logical & it works. If you are a small business and you would prefer to have a return to the style of commerce we enjoyed, "back in the day", do yourself a favor & start up a relationship with Joshua & Co. over at Interstate Supplies & Service. You'll be glad you did. Tell them I sent you!!

You can stop your search with trying to find a reputable fabricator. Trust me, I have had all of…read morethem in my home from Charlotte, Monroe, and Matthews. Hands down Custom Granite Solutions was the winner by far not only due to price but the fact they could do so much more than just countertops. The initial meeting was to discuss the project and how they would go about it. They offered suggestions of things we had not even considered so we were confident in their abilities from the very beginning. We made our countertop selection from one of the distributors that Custom Granite Solutions uses and waited for our slab to arrive at the warehouse. Elbert suggested that we go look at the slab prior to installation, just to make sure the color was the same as the distributor's sample. Much to our disappointment, the slab was much whiter than I had hoped. I called Elbert and he let me know the issue would be addressed. The next day he called with a satisfactory solution that got our project back on track. He went over and above what we expected to make this right. Each of the individual craftsmen (countertop and tile installers and the plumber) were all amazing. The countertop installer took his time when demoing the old countertop and backsplash. They put down drop cloths to protect our hardwood floors and cleaned up periodically during the process. We requested they try to save our cast iron sink which they were able to do saving us $700. The sink had to be cleaned due to all the adhesive from the previous install which they took to their shop and did. It turned out amazing and looks brand new. During the countertop install, the contractor showed us that the previous installer had not leveled our countertops correctly (due to unlevel floors) which was evident in the unevenness of our previous backsplash. The installer took the time to level all the countertops rather than install them as was previously done. The tile contractor was used to install backsplash that we provided. We were told upfront from Elbert what supplies to get such as the tile grout and caulk. The installer asked us what we paid for the supplies and that we could get them much cheaper from Lowe's or Home Depot which amounted to a $95 savings. We were so thankful that he took the time to ask this question and to explain the difference between sanded and non-sanded to ensure we picked out exactly what we needed for our install. He even offered suggestions as to the grout color by showing us pictures of previous jobs he had done. Just like the countertop installer, he took his time in making sure everything was done to perfection. The plumber was great as well. He made a few suggestions regarding the kitchen faucet such as not installing the cover plate for a slicker look which we love. Lastly, all the contractors cleaned up at the end of their installations. I am a clean freak and only needed to mop when they left. This really helped with our hectic schedules. We are so thankful that each of these contractors treated this project like it was their own home. That says a lot about this company's reputation. Thanks again Custom Granite Solutions our kitchen turned out beautifully. You guys are the best!! Tracie W.
