But walk through that door and its like the Tardis from Dr. Who. The store really opens up into multiple rooms each with their own treasures to be found. Then out back there is a garde. And green house. They have chili pepper plants the likes of which I don't think I will ever see again! I swear the jalapeno plant was nearly as tall as me. And that is not an exaggeration. It was massive. Like a spicy tree. It was seriously impressive. Anyhow, there was also a "volunteer" plant just outside the back door that had tiny red peppers on it. Nobody seemed to know the variety but said they were too too hot. Maybe Tobasco peppers they thought. I started talking to them about my own home garden and how I struggle with tomato and pepper blossoms not sticking around long enough to produce fruit. They told me about something called "Blossom Set." I would have bought some there but it was greater than 3 ounces and I had to fly home. What I did buy was a bottle of scuppernong juice. Funny name for a native grape with a delicious flavor. A little more tart than standard grapes. I had been wanting to try scuppernongs and that did the trick. My only regret here is that I don't live anywhere near Renfrow's and could not biy as much I really wanted to. If I was a local, this would likely me a regular stop on my weekend errands.

John was our instructor and he was excellent. He explained everything clearly, made sure everyone felt comfortable using the equipment, and kept the class engaging without ever feeling rushed. We also met a few other team members while we were there and everyone was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. You can tell they really care about what they do. No other stores could get us the exact one we wanted, so that was the first big plus. The truck came perfectly within the time estimate and the delivery was smooth and easy. Juan and Troy were professional and knowledgeable. They were efficient and super nice. They cared for the fridge AND our house (and all the kids running around) with the highest attention! I didn't realize it but the perlite had a slash on the bottom and had been taped up. I didn't realize til I was putting it in my car and didn't have time to return it at that moment. I will be returning it because who knows how much of the perlite is gone from the bag. Overall the store was nice and clean but the house plants were in odd locations and I had to search for them. Was told that person was out to lunch and would call back. No call back. So I called them again. Was transferred a couple times and finally got ahold of someone that said the order may not have shipped yet. They asked if I would hold as they contacted manufacturer. I told them to cancel my order. A proper business would have emailed or contacted me about the order being delayed especially considering it was 2 weeks. A proper business would have returned my call as committed. The only reason for not getting a 1 star is that they refunded me promptly.
