He found me the most beautiful bathroom tile that I probably would have overlooked on my own. He has a wonderful eye for design. This rating is based on the quality of the product I bought and installed. I bought NUCOR Deerfield 9x72 LVP. I am writing this review less than 1 year after install. The planks have separated in many places all over the downstairs. It looked great when it was first installed. Everything clicked in very well. Wasn't unhappy. Within a month, the seems started to separate. The locking system is pure crap. I am a Design professional in the Charlotte area. I visited Floor&Decor in Pineville this week looking for bath floor and wall tiles for a current project. This project required creative inexpensive options for an out-of-state installation. I asked an employee by the name of Selena for assistance on materials, pricing, and availability in other Floor&Decor locations. She was joined by Anfernee and they "tag-teamed" in assisting me with amazing customer service and a perfect outcome. Worse experience ever. The store is big and has a wide selection of tiling to choose from. The store seems to cater more to those with same-day carry-out. They do not fare well with those placing large orders and deliveries. Firstly, we met with a "designer" to help choose color matching. Color is largely a personal choice, and we found our designer to be rushed for time and argumentative on choices we were making. She showed very little flexibility for OUR tastes rather than her own. But the biggest snafu was ordering. The order placed had about a dozen different items. When coming into the store to make the payment, I discovered that the quantity was incorrect on two of the items. Six weeks later, we're having our shipment delivered and we were told the some of the items were back-ordered and they had no idea when they would be in. Half the state was searched until a small quantity was found. Still, our order was short and I had to make another visit to the store to get the additional amount required. Even then, our shipment was still short of the amount originally purchased. If the store had set aside the materials from the beginning and marked as "sold", there would have never been a problem. Instead, Floor & Decor does not set aside prepaid orders and you're stuck scrambling at the eleventh hour. The business is poorly run and help on the floor is hard to find. Because of the disorganization and mismanagement of this store and , Floor & Decor added a whole new layer of stress to my home project. I would be reluctant to shop here again for my next tile project. read more

What an amazing store! I have never seen such a wonderful selection. We had just about given up trying to re-do our bathroom and kitchen. The places we went had limited samples and sometimes you had to see them from a distance or a catalog. The selection here is amazing! When you walk in you might be overwhelmed with all the products. Fortunately they have some great people who work there. They know where everything is and will guide you. We got lucky and got Trevon! He made everything so much easier! Beware. Do not use this store. They don't answer the phone so we had to go a second time to the store to check on the status of our order. We explained that we worked with their design consultant for two hours and they evidently lost every thing. They literally said it was our fault and got upset. Store personnel were rude, condescending and abrupt. The Store Manager didn't care when engaged. We were going to spend several thousand for material but will gladly take our business elsewhere. Wow! I have to give huge thanks to Joe, Dexter and Jameson! These guys were amazing tonight. I had a situation where the Tile that I had originally ordered from another location came incorrect. The only location that had the right amount was Pineville. I drove down at 6 o'clock at night on a Friday and these guys saved my butt! The installers are coming tomorrow morning and these guys stuck around later than they should've and helped me out tremendously. I can't say enough about how kind Joe the manager, Dexter and Jamison were to me. There was another guy at the front that I didn't catch his name he was also super helpful. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!!! We visited Floor & Decor on August 15, placed our order for a complete bathroom remodel plus a laundry room floor. We Picked out all of our tile for flooring, shower, walls, and everything was showing in stock. We could have taken it that evening with us had we brought a truck, but was given the option to pick it up the next day.I have sent my tile person to this location twice since August 15 and twice they have turned him away. The second time saying it won't be ready for three weeks. They claim they do not have the people to pack the orders. My feeling is, then they should not have sold the product. I have now paid someone to make two trips to this store to pick up my tile, only to be turned away.. if they don't have the personnel to pack the orders, then they should not have sold the product! My job is now delayed by almost 2 weeks and I still have no tile, which was paid for in full on August 15. We have been calling the store since August 15 and the phone rings and rings and no one answers. It is just appalling to spend that much money and have nothing to show for it and no response or acknowledgment from any management at this company. I would never shop here again! I renovated two bathrooms about 1.5 year ago or so before COVID hit and bought tile from here. The customer service was the worst: 1. The customer service reps who was helping me select tile was useless. I described what I wanted and even showed him a picture and he pointed me to tile which wasn't satisfactory. Luckily, I walked the entire store and found what I was looking for on my own. 2. Some of the tile's delivery timeline was severely delayed because of a potential storm in VA, where the warehouse for the items is located. The issue isn't the delay per se - it's the lack of communication and miscommunication from F&D reps as they told us that we would definitely get our shipment by a certain time and when things changed because of the weather, they never circled back to let us know there will be severe delays. 3. Once the shipment arrived, A. they did not have some of the time I wanted so I had to hastily make another selection in order to have materials for my contractor to finish the reno during the timeline we agreed. I regret the selection I made as the floor tyle style doesn't really go with the wall tile; B. Not all the tile purchased was in stock at this store so we asked that they transfer it from another store. Long story short, there were system issues because they didn't appropriately account for what tile was located where and, as a result, accused my contractor of stealing the tile they clearly had on hand. 4. They never apologized or gave us a remedial credit for the errors and subpar customer service. We had to escalate to management to get any kind of decent resolution. NEVER AGAIN WOULD I BUY ANYTHING HERE AND CAUTION OTHERS TO THINK HARD BEFORE DOING SO. USE THIS STORE TO GET IDEAS BUT YOU'VE BEEN WARNED ABOUT SPENDING YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY AT THIS JUNK OF A PLACE. read more

Went in to the Floor and Devore at South Blvd. near Pineville. Had lots of questions about tile mortar, grout and the right mortar trowel. Ms. Cruzie (sp?) at the back service desk was outstanding. She jumped to help me choose the right grout color and even through she new the answers she asked a pro who happened to be waiting for their advice and they too were happy to help me feel great about the choices. The first guy I asked to help me didn't listen to anything I said or even let me talk he kept talking over me without answering any of my questions and then ended with order as much as you can today because it's low in stock when I literally told him I don't know the square footage yet. My husband were in need of butcher block counter tops and looked online and originally wanted the American walnut ( based off of photos online ) . It's almost impossible to find the 12 foot piece we needed. According to the online inventory it showed this location haveing both the 8 foot and 12 foot piece we needed so we came out today to pick it up . About a two hour drive we get there to find their online inventory was wrong . They didn't have the 12 foot piece . Now Levi the the associate that helped us was Fantastic! He went to the back and searched for us still no 12 foot piece my husband and I after talking with Levi decided to do the American white Oak and stain it to get the color we wanted . They had the two pieces I needed in stock and he ordered my back splash and had it shipped to a nearer store for us . Even though this locations online inventory was off we received amazing customer service from Levi and that alone was worth the drive . He was very knowledgeable and helpful . I would recommend calling before if you are going off online inventory ( lesson learned) but the customer service we received was great so I have no real complaints I still got my counter tops and Levi did everything he could to rectify the misleading information. Horrible customer service!!!!! I do not recommend this store! I purchased flooring at the store and I was told that I was able to custom order stairs so that my floor and stairs would match. After I purchased the flooring and installed it into my house and spent thousands of dollars when I went back to purchase the stairs they told me that they do not sell the color/style that I purchased! I bought some flooring from them in May toward the end and while in the store I was told to go look down the aisle myself and pick something well I did I picked a vinyl wooden floor which is a little more expensive and purchased it. Then I was told it would arrive June 11. It is now July 5 and I still have no floor. The flooring is in Savannah and supposedly had to be released for shipping and it finally was it was released today. I am still waiting; the one thing that bothered me the most is no one picks up the store phone and when they do they can't answer the questions needed. I waited over 45 minutes for someone to answer the phone.I also was told that June 11 was not a correct answer to wait to the end of June. I will never order from this store again there is no customer service I know that some shipments are late due to the Covid crisis but they only have to pick up the phone and answer my questions. Charleston,South Carolina and Spartanburg,South Carolina have excellent customer service. Then I was given 3 corporate numbers to call and ended up getting three different stores in USA!! I've done hundred of tile jobs and this is absolutely the worst tile store in the Charlotte area. After placing an online order that showed all the items in stock that I was ordering, the order is still not ready TEN DAYS after placing the order. To make matters worse, the local store on South Blvd simply does not answer the phone. I've called 20+ times and the phone just rings and ring and rings with no answer. Try calling their national 1-800 number? Same thing. You never get a person who will answer the phone. I suggest Harkey's, the Tile Shop or just about any other tile shop in Charlotte. But these guys? No way. Stay away from them. They are the absolute worst. Update: The only way to get in contact with them is via a chat agent on their website. The agent messaged me that it would take three weeks to a month to get the order. The moment I asked for a refund, the agent disappeared and would no longer answer my chat messages. Seriously? So, let's start with the only 2 employees on the showroom floor "helping" people had their masks protecting chins only. But I can overlook ignorance. However, when the little old guy finally came to help, I told him what I needed (knowing that there were plenty at this location) he said I could pick through the broken tiles to get what I need. 660 of these in the store and you can't restock the shelves and let me purchase new tile and not things that have been obviously returned due to the level of dirt on them. Then you go to pay and there's no one at any checkout line. A short female manager walked by three times. Every time she did, I called out to her with "excuse me ma'am" and she ignored me every time. Customer service is terrible here. The one exception is Daniel, who was taking returns. He saw that I had been standing (trying to PAY) and called me over to apologize and take care of me immediately. The Concord store could send some folks down here to teach people how to earn there checks. From now on, we'll wait for concord to order for us rather than drive 33 mile to be treated badly.
