During a recent remodel in my personal home, they installed two bathroom countertops (guest and master), one kitchen countertop, and a bathroom waterfall seat in a new master shower. Four pieces were remnants and the other was a full slab and they all look amazing!! Everyone was very easy to work with and able to answer all my questions. Scheduling for measuring and install was a breeze and their prices were great compared to other places. My lovely wife has become quite the tile and grout expert, having redone the shower and the floor of the master bathroom. So now she's got her eye on a backsplash in the kitchen. But despite searching online and at the big home improvement stores, we simply can't find a tile that we really like. I mean, this stuff is going to last at least 15 years so let's do it right. Other than our consultant (Cammie), *NOT ONE* of the other staff people were wearing masks. A couple of staff members had them around their necks and the others had no mask in sight. It wasn't an "oops," it was "we clearly do not care about you or your health." What is the point of having floor stickers that encourage social distancing if no one wears masks (or, for that matter, follows the sticker directions)? Do the staff just not care about clients' or potential clients' health? We will not be spending our money here. read more

Horrible experience all the way around. Went in for whole home reno. Prices were more than twice what others charged. Sales person was rude. There were several employees in the showroom that weren't wearing masks during peak covid. The contracting crew had to come to my home multiple times to discuss what should have been done in one visit because they were so disorganized. After 6 1/2 weeks I never received pricing for the tile and quartz I selected, even though every week, I was told I would receive the prices the following week. I lost a contractor who could wait no longer for pricing and took another job, which cost me money because I was renting while my home was supposed to be worked on. I contacted the owner, Matt Creasser, who said he would personally take care of things and gave me his card with his phone number and personal email. At last, I thought, help has arrived. I emailed him twice and never heard from him. They don't even deserve one star. read more

I am giving this store 2 Stars. A few months ago I visited tto inquire about a Shower remodel I was wanting to have done. The young lady I spoke with while there was polite and seemed to know what she was talking about. They were kind enough to allow me to take tile samples home with me to get an idea of how they would look in my bathroom. I went back and fourth several times that day with tile samples. I had decided on several samples I liked. When I asked about Cost, after giving her an idea of the size and scope of the project and what I wanted she was giving me quotes of $13-$15,000. I thought this was extremely high! I left all of my information with them and asked if someone could give me a call in regards to getting a more accurate estimate. This never happened! Although polite I felt like the staff here were more interested and preoccupied with the familiar faces of the contractors and the demanding, needy housewife's in and out while I was there. I don't feel like I was being taken seriously at all. I have given them plenty of time to call me back! Months! I am going with another company! Update! Even after this lackluster review I wrote 6 months ago, not 1 person has reached out to me to rectify this situation! It is because of this I have now lowered my review to a 1 Star! read more

Recently we had a leak in our master bathroom shower. After speaking with a few neighbors who also had similar issues, they recommended TILE CONNECTION. Everyone was very friendly, courteous and polite. However, their plumber had told me that the drain in my ceramic pan had to be replaced, and that since it was an all in one unit, they would have to tear everything out and that we would also need to replace tile, shower door, etc....Quote was $15,000 which included a $4.99 allowance for tile, which happened to be their entry level tile. Had a second opinion, and glad we did. Drain was not permanently attached, and we were able to save roughly $14,900. Do your homework and get a 2nd opinion, as this would have been a costly and unnecessary fix. That being said, our neighbors were very happy with their bathroom re-models, so if you are looking to gut, and price is not an object, then they might be the people for you! read more

We used Tile Collection to remodel our master bath. Our experience started at the show room where we met Ashley. She was quick to pull the samples together and allowed us to take them home. The timing of getting bids on the job went smooth and compared to other bids we recieved we felt they were very fair. Especially considering the timing of our request. We were extremely pleased with the scheduling of the project. Wendy worked with us because we had to to plan the work around our vacation and work schedules. Most delays were because of our schedules and not Tile Collections. We were most pleased with the day by day schedule on what sub-contractor would be in our home and the estimated time of completion for each step. As expected in any remodel, there were some issues that had to be resolved. Ashley and Wendy took a "customer satifaction" attitude from the very beginning and the issues were resolved in a timely fashion. The other positive reason we were pleased with TC was their contractors. Our tile man "Z" was the best along with the others. All in all, it was a great experience. We like the tile selection but our installation experience has been 50/50 - one positive experience and one fairly negative one. The actual installers are very talented and do great work. However, the coordination services are not predictably good. For the project that did not go well, they did not order enough product (which seemed to also greatly annoy the installer) and the overall project communication was greatly lacking. We had a glass door installed (which they arranged) but they failed to communicate this to the installer. The result was that the wall was not made straighter and we had to go two rounds with the glass door (1st one did not properly fit). We were unable to use that shower for almost 6 weeks. Be sure that your designer is seasoned and knows the ropes. Their installation prices are high since they load it for the design and project management. read more

After having a disastrous issue with another company, we found Tile Collection mid-project. We were not excited about moving forward, but we met Wendy and all of that changed!!! We really had no idea how to proceed, and we brought in samples of what we already had. She immediately pulled a bunch of stock, and showed us all the other tiles and granite that would go with our stalled project. We had a great time, and our only regret was that we had already installed some flooring and wall tile that was way less impressive than the stock Wendy had on hand. But: From that point on, we had so much fun picking what we could, and Wendy also had it expressed right away for us! My husband was able to go to their offsite granite shop and pick exactly what he wanted, and we tied everything up SO quickly! In addition, we had an outstanding balance that came a while after our project. I forgot to call Wendy back, and it was just a case of me forgetting- when I remembered and called her back, she could not have been more gracious!! She was totally professional and kind despite the fact that I just...forgot! I have had two great experiences with Tile Collection. Our designer, Katie Jepsky, was fantastic. She helped us design both our kitchen and fireplace and then our mstr bath renovation. She was very organized and knew all of the products we needed. Everything was scheduled perfectly. Our project manager, Ronnie, was always very polite and helpful in making sure everything went as planned. The tile work in both kitchen and bath was done perfectly by one of their professionals named Refik. Their in-house plumber, Matt, worked so hard to make sure the plumbing went well. Their granite shop was alos good, Scott helped us in making the granite templates work. All in all a very well run operation that made the renovations a very nice experience for us. Stay away from this place. They quoted me a price for a simple kitchen of $10,000. They wanted me to provide the sink and pay $250 extra to hook everything up. Sent us over to granite warehouse to pick out the granite like they say they do for everyone else. Checked with another granite company in town and they were more than 50% cheaper for the same exact job and the same exact granite for the most part. I called Tile Collection back and the best explanation for it being double the price was that it was "customer chosen granite" and that our kitchen was very unique. Our kitchen had three angles. A blind person could put granite in this kitchen it's so simple. I will NEVER use this place. Everyone else I've told the story to were just as in shock as we were.
