I visited this store and looked at couches with Matthew Tipton, I found a couch that was slightly damaged with a reduced price. A few days later I purchased it for PICKUP over the phone via a payment link he sent. He told me since they had done some rearranging in the showroom, the couch I had purchased was moved to the warehouse and wouldn't be available for pickup until Tuesday (today). Today I was told that they had accidentally placed MY couch on a delivery truck and couldn't get a hold of the driver to track it down. Then a few hours later, Matthew calls again saying that MY couch had been delivered to another customer who had purchased the same couch (this customer now has 2 couches). And of course he wasn't able to get in touch with them either. He let me know now I would have to wait until they're able to get MY couch back in their possession to look over it and confirm it was the same one THEY SENT to a different customer. He said if they were unable to do so or if the couch had any issues they could offer to deliver a new couch but it would be over a MONTH in the future. This is unacceptable. One of the only reasons I decided on this couch was the fast turn around to receive it. I then called the store to process a full refund as I am no longer interested in giving Furniture Row my money. I spoke with Austin on the phone who said he had been informed about this situation and he would be able to initiate a refund. He then had the AUDACITY to ask if the leather cleaner (that they had offered for an additional $1 on my order) was already in my possession. As if that was going to cause an issue with my refund. Which how could I have it if Matthew said I would only be able to get it when picking up my couch?? Overall, I am VERY upset with this whole experience, and will NEVER be purchasing from, or entering this store again. And will be sharing my negative experience with everyone I had told about this couch. DO NOT trust them to handle your purchases professionally, carefully, or diligently! Overpromised, mistreated, and under-delivered. When I ordered my furniture in August, I was told that it would be delivered in December. After the worst customer experience ever... It finally arrived in April. Due to bad communications, disrespect and completely destroyed confidence in this organization, I attempted to get my order canceled during many stages, to no avail. I ended up feeling helpless, tired, and genuinely terrible; my husband and I barely want this furniture anymore. We would have paid twice what we paid to have avoided this experience. This place will gaslight you in ways you could have never anticipated nor prepared for. My sales representative, an older African American woman, Faith Markham was unprofessional and even undignified in her communications. After I reported her to a man claiming to be her manager, she offered an apology for her behavior but nothing was done to amend the situation. Delivery No one called me when the furniture arrived. I happened to see an email stating the date of delivery. I was beaten down by then, and just wanted this experience to end! The delivery guys parked on our lawn, damaging it with that heavy truck in the wet soil. One of them mopped his sweaty brow and arm on the new upholstery. I have lived through enough to know without a doubt, that what goes around comes around. They will reap what has been sown. These people are fully aware that the way they are running this business is unscrupulous and dead wrong. During every stage (post-purchase) it was made crystal clear that they do not value my patronage. One section is focused on living rooms, den furniture, chairs, etc. The midsection is for bedding and the end is more focused on bedrooms, dining rooms, and accessories. The prices are good; the sales are even better. Anything I have purchased was of good quality. Recently I purchased a bicycle table and two chairs. The set was so unique I had to have it. I added a picture for you to check out. While you are there you MUST try their chair massagers. The most expensive one is, by far the best one. If I won the lottery I would be buying it for my home as its a bit pricey. It has all the bells and whistles so I'm not saying it isn't worth it - just saying its more than I want to spend for a chair. Its worth stopping to try out. read more

I visted around Memorial Day wkend, attracted by the potential specials and need to update my living space...all the same applies from my previous review in regards to delivery rates,customer service,layout/selection,etc. Also, again I went in seeking a sofa from online that they did not carry in store. They did, however, have a coffee table that I wanted and a door-buster sofa that I immediately fell in love with at a fraction of the price as the one online that I had been eyeing. The salesperson was very helpful and even took measurements of the furniture at my request. He didn't seem to mind at all, helping to make sure I made the right selections. I opted to pick up from warehouse as before. This time when I visted the warehouse I noticed that they had discounted furniture for sale! I ended up purchasing an armchair super cheap and my brother purchased a sofa set with ottoman for a steal! Honestly, if I had visited the warehouse 1st I would have purchased my sofa from there! They had a vast selection of items, some with minor damage but all very reasonably priced. My brother purchased his when we picked up my set, but was not able to pick up until a week later and they were fine with that. This Is definitely my go-to furniture place because of the great selection, quality of furniture and great customer service. I have never come in this store and been ignored or treated like an annoyance. My husband and I relocated to the area and fell In love with a couch on the show floor. We were told we could by the floor model not once, but twice. We rented a truck to pick it up ourselves and drove a half hour to get there to be told we could only by the couch if we also bought the matching loveseat or accent chair, which we did not have room for. I understand that with supply issues right now back filling is a problem. But we were told we could only buy the floor model, due to the fact they would be unable to order another one for us. My gf and I paid $4k upfront for a couch in January to be made and swallowed the harsh reality of a 8-12 week lead time.... There's no communication from this store after they accept your money and the onus was on me to call in 2 times to check in on the status of our furniture. The first call was in February in hopes that maybe a company in 2024 could surprise us with beating an expectation, but of course that 8-12 weeks turned into a full 12 weeks and the associate assured me that the couch was expected to be ready for the end of April. I called in 4/10/24 just to check in to see if the couch was still on schedule for end of April, just to be told that the manufacturer halted production about a month and a half ago due to a sprinkler system malfunction or something; production is to resume May 31st. I'm not mad that the manufacturer had to halt production.... I'm mad that an entire month and half went by and not one attempt was made to contact us. I called again today to speak with a manager in hopes that maybe they'd like to fight for my business.... It seems that they'd rather just give me a full refund, or exchange my furniture for something else I'd probably have to wait on, or waive a measly $259 shipping fee if I decide to wait for production to resume (to which there's no telling how long after that it'd be until we got our couch.) I've decided that we're going to go for the full refund because it doesn't seem like this company cares to try and keep a customer. Their employees are enthusiastic to sell you something but sound despondent or reluctant to deal with a rightfully frustrated customer. I've bought from furniture row in the past, I won't be in the future.... I'll also make it mission to deter anyone looking for furniture from this store. Edit 4/14: I went in and got my refund.... Not a single apology from the Manager who had to help the woman give my refund or the Sales Guy (Jeff) who sold us the couch. They must not work off commission... blows my mind. I was not greeted at the door as everyone should be. In addition, Mike did not make eye contact or even acknowledge my presence. I felt unwelcome and ignored. Finally, Mike took my application and asked me to return tomorrow morning for an Interview with Edwin? At this point, he still has not made eye contact with me by the way. I don't know if this was race-related. I really hate to say that, but I have never been treated this way, let alone during a hiring process. I feel mistreated and I hope the next Human Being that comes in seeking a job opportunity gets treated with more respect than I did. I called the location before I could even get back home. Ordered a sectional sofa on April 5, 2023 and paid in full. Due to typical delays in production, sofa was not available for delivery until late July. Delivery was scheduled for July 22. Drivers show up and immediately say the sofa wont fit in the room we want it placed in. The sofa was measured and it would fit. They refused to attempt to place it in the room and took the sofa back to the warehouse. The following week, I call to reschedule the delivery and they were unable to reschedule because the drivers marked it delivered in the system and they cannot reschedule the delivery until that is unmarked. Days later, spoke to our salesperson Jeff on Tuesday, July 25 and the sofa was rescheduled for delivery for July 29. Apparently, the entire order was canceled on July 26 unbeknownst to us. No phone call, email, nothing. Delivery was still scheduled and we continued to receive the updates and confirmed the delivery time, not knowing it was canceled. WE NEVER REQUESTED A CANCELLATION! July 29 rolls around and the delivery drivers skip our house, without any notification. We call the store (numerous times) to find out and they will not answer the phone for me (my number). I have my wife call and they answered immediately (using her phone) and told us we requested the cancellation and we have to go through the entire order process again. They said we called earlier in the week to have the order cancelled, which was not true! Then the story changes and we were told we came in earlier that week in person and cancelled the order. Again this is not true as I was out of town that entire week! Crazy. I asked to speak to a manager and was told no and they would have to call me back. I call a corporate number and they get an assistant manager to contact me. The manager sent a new link to repay for the order and set up for another delivery. He was NOT apologetic, empathetic, or wanting to help recover our experience. He did not offer to expedite our delivery or even refund the delivery fee for our inconvenience. He honestly didnt care about what happened and just wanted to get me off the phone. They only deliver to our area 2 days a week and we ended up having to wait another week for the sectional to arrive. Saturday finally rolls around and the delivery drivers were late. Our window was 2:30-4:30 and they show up around 5PM. They carry the first piece in and they say it won't fit up the staircase. I had to coach and help them carry it up the stairs. We get to the top and they are now unable to set it down on its side due to the ceiling height. I was so fed up I just told them to leave. I was able to get the sectional Into the room later that evening with some family help, with NO ISSUES. I will never be doing business with this disorganized company again. Completely unacceptable customer service. Management at the Ikea Blvd Store in Charlotte, NC need to be held accountable. read more

Delivery was awful! Issue #1 Bought a guest bed with headboard. Salesman/ now manager Zach ordered wrong one for us. We decided to keep it anyway as it was the same price. Bought purple adjustable bed. Same delivery guys did not have proper tools to take old headboard off old adjustable bed. One of the bolts were now stripped! Did they strip them or my movers when I moved in 2 months ago. I don't know! They left and said they'd send someone back! My son in law came over that night and got the bolt off! Resolution from Furniture Row: came back two days later with salesmen Geron and Mike. Put together table although they had trouble too! Left styrofoam pieces all over my floor and didn't offer to clean up the mess or move the chairs in from another room! Moved old bed and headboard out and installed new purple bed ( love my new bed, would highly recommend) or maybe after having to sleep in a recliner for two night I was just exhausted. I can not sleep flat due to physical issues, so I had no bed to sleep in for two night!!!! Still waiting for a call from Zach Manager) it's been two days since final install! Full disclosure: I did get a refund for the delivery charge which I was promised before delivery since I was given wrong information at time of sale Would not recommend shopping there and certainly their delivery/installation needs some serious training! Do not buy the extra insurance that this place sales to you. The company is not accredited by the Better Business Bureau and scores an F on the Better Business Bureau's site. When my sofa was punctured by the corner of a table that was behind it when I reclined. They said it was not covered and that they consider it a tear not a puncture. Even though the so called "extra coverage" plainly states it covers punctures. Why is Furniture Row pushing people to buy a useless insurance plan. I wonder how much commission they make selling these policies. Shame on Furniture Row for being in bed with such a bad company. Don't take my word for it go to the Better Business Bureau's website. The company is Great White Bottling. It says they don't settle claims. **********UPDATE********** Furniture Row made things right by replacing my sofa with a new one. Probably would have given them 4 stars but dropped it down to a 1 star. My wife and I came here, walked around for some time and decided on a dining table set and recliners. We wanted to sleep on it and go online as well to make sure we were getting the best deal. We live over an hour away and didn't want to drive all the way back to make the purchase so we called and placed the order over the phone. We went over prices, taxes and delivery fee. We were emailed 2 links to pay for our order, one for our dining table set and the other for the recliners. The links did not have a breakdown and the total did not match for the recliners. When we called back to ask why the link did not have a breakdown they couldn't explain but told me that after making the payment we would receive a receipt with the breakdown. We made the payment and did not receive a receipt so I called and they did email it but the link kept giving me an error. I finally just asked if they could just go over the break down again and suddenly we were charged a separate delivery fee for the recliners. I asked why and they said it was because it was scheduled for 2 separate deliveries. I told them when they had given us a breakdown that they only mention a delivery fee for the dining table set, not the recliners and asked if they would waive it but was told it was against company policy. We finally agreed that instead of having two separate deliveries we would wait it out and just have 1 delivery and the fee for the recliners would be refunded but we would just have to wait till after the delivery. I called about a month after the delivery because we never saw the refund and was told it would be done the next day by a manager. It took 3 calls and 4 months after the delivery date to get the delivery fee refunded. Probably will not go back due to this experience. read more

Quality of sofa we purchase was poor. Did not come close to what they were showing on showroom floor. First visit they could not even get frame of sectional together. Holes for screws were not in the right places, it did not fit upholstery pieces. Waited another week for second sofa which was assembled b4 delivery. First they sent out the wrong side of the sectional. I got the right side but requested the left. Leg joints don't meet, upholstered cushions across the back of sofa r not correct size they r too small and fabric stretched around the frame is not on grain and so it is crooked Now I have to live with this piece of junk for another week till they come and get. I would think twice b4 purchasing anything from this company the quaility is just not there . After visiting Basset, Havertys, Ashley, Rooms to Go, Ikea, and some other places for a sectional couch, my wife and I stopped at Furniture Row. We had seen a few options that we liked - but nothing that was both attractive and comfortable for a good cost. Ikea was a joke - the couches felt as cheap as Ashley but were the price of Basset! We quickly found a couple options in Furniture row that we liked - they while they were all priced like Ashley - they felt more like Havertys couches in terms of comfort. We were helped by a young woman who walked back and forth with us between the couches we were looking at, and helped us choose the cheaper one based on what we were telling her we liked. She helped get it scheduled for delivery, and even worked with us over the phone when we ordered an end table and coffee table weeks after the couch was delivered and we couldn't find a better deal on the tables. Just to warn you apparently a big expensive sectional peeling all over is not covered by the warranty. We bought a sectional three years ago and within a year and a half seems started coming apart and it peeled everywhere. We bought the extended warranty and When I called they basically said they would stitch up where the seams would come apart but that peeling isn't covered by the warranty. I am a Furniture Row Racing fan, so this was a must visit when it came time to shop for a new couch. My parents and I took quite some time exploring just about every option of couches on the sales floor. Sales folks had approached us after we walked in and I thought "Oh no, here we go with the sales tactics already!" They introduced themselves and informed us of some current specials and stated if we had any questions to let them know and would just let us browse. WOW! That's hard to find when it comes to commission sales. We did just that. If we had a question we asked and then went back to browsing without being smothered. We settled on a couch / love seat pair and completed the transaction. One great thing about being from South Carolina - NO Sales Tax! Even better... especially on such a large purchase. It took a while to get it to Charlotte from Denver - but the delivery went well. Slight damage to my wall, but accidents happen - and it's a rented apartment.... DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. I purchased a teal loveseat and a TV stand from them. Two weeks later, it was scheduled to be delivered. The guy shows up at my door and says he has my loveseat. When asked about the TV stand, he has no idea what I'm talking about. Then, I see him unloading the loveseat and it's the wrong color! Someone from corporate calls me that day and apologizes, and says that they're going to try to get the correct items to me that day and that they'll upgrade my TV stand because the other one was discontinued (how is that even possible if I was able to order it?!) and give me an additional $200 credit. Ok, that eased my mind a bit. But the day comes and goes and she never calls me back. So I call back the next day and the management who was in that day has no record of what happened, so I have to explain the situation again. That also means that if I didn't babysit them and call them myself, I bet my furniture would never be delivered. Then they tell me that IT'LL BE ANOTHER THREE WEEKS before I can get my items BECAUSE THEY WERE NEVER ORDERED. How does that happen?! AND he said that he'll have to reprimand the person I talked to the day before for telling me that I'll get a credit, because god forbid someone try to give good customer service at that place. I just received my new bedroom and dining set from Furniture Row and as JJ Evans used to say it is Dynomite! I love it! I worked with Paul at the store who was extremely helpful and very patient. After looking at bedroom sets for over an hour, choosing one and purchasing it I went back to the store a couple of days later to add a chest and decided I liked a completely different set better. Paul cancelled my original order and rang up the new order with no problem.
