With the current events, I was wanting a chest freezer. They are sold out at the big box stores all across the region. Obviously, other people had the same idea that I did. And so here's Flippin Jays who manages to get a truckload of chest freezers in an assortment of sizes. I wanted one and they wanted to sell one. The purchase process could have been smoother but I'm very forgiving here. Six feet of "social distancing" doesn't work well when you have a bunch of folks who want something that's in short supply. They did as well as they could under the circumstances and everyone who was there at the store when it opened got their purchase, though maybe not in the order they had originally queued up. That's a minor ding. And speaking of minor ding, this is "scratch and dent." My chest freezer was clearly used but it's operational, guaranteed for 90 days and I'm sure some "goo gone" will get rid of the marks on it. The folks did not want to be dealing with the public today. Definitely not a bunch of people who were about a minute away from an actual riot. But they did pretty well keeping things as organized as they could and selling what people wanted to buy They loaded it into my vehicle for me, which was awesome service. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING HERE! IT IS NOT WORTH THE MEAGER SAVINGS!!! This is a very thuggish establishment. I went in and spoke to a woman who had a nasty attitude and reluctantly assisted me, but who made sure to tell me she doesn't get paid commissions so I needed to know she was basically doing me a favor. She then tried to overcharge me $10 more for delivery than I was quoted over the phone by the manager. I spent $1000 on a washing machine plus delivery and haul away. it was delivered by two men who never smiled and were obviously unhappy. They spilled water everywhere, got muddy footprints, all over my carpet, and rust stains from the old machine all up and down my carpeted stairs. There were new scratches and dents that weren't there two days before!! They never apologized for the extra work that I have to do now renting a shampooer and shampooing my carpet stairs, which is a difficult endeavor. Much more difficult than just shampooing a flat surface. They then wanted me to sign that everything was working in good condition, which I have no basis of knowledge to know because - duh! - I had never washed any clothes in the machine. One of the delivery men turned out to be the owner and was offended that I would not sign that everything was in working order. I did sign that I received the machine. The way they handled the machine was so rough and they left it so haphazardly situated that I could not even open the drawer in which you pour your detergent and bleach. THEY WERE TERRIBLE!!! Then when I opened the machine door it looked like this! (See the video attached). I asked to return the machine because it was also making funny noises. They refused to accept the same day return. They also gave me an instruction manual that clearly had already been wet and dirtied by someone else. I will in the future take my business elsewhere. It's just not worth the $150 savings to not be able to return a machine that is defective. I am also going to post my experience on BBB. (Update: the response from the owner attacking me is so full of lies it's incredible. When a person has to lie to try to make a point you know you are dealing with someone who is irresponsible, desperate and completely unprincipled. At any rate, he proved my point, this place is full of angry, hostile people who handled my purchase violently and stained my carpet with RUST - which may or may not come out. With NO APOLOGIES!!!! We purchased a gas range from Jay's. When it arrived, it appeared to be missing parts. I reached out to Jay's and he gave me instructions on how to find the missing pieces, because they may have gotten hidden inside the stove during delivery. He was right. I found 2 of 3 missing pieces that way. The other piece, however, Jay went to work to find out where it was. He could not find it, but ended up purchasing it and having it mailed directly to my home. Purchased a refridgerator On April 8, 2022. Had an issue with not being able to move the fridge, the doors were not level, freezer ice maker not making ice. The delivery people smashed in my front door of home. They did come out and fix that. I thought the leveling feet were missing but the wheel was actually broken. I kept sending them emails about it and they sent out Jennifer and her warehouse manager. I had to buy coasters to put in front of fridge legs because it had already scratched my floors. They brought a dolly so we could do that. Warehouse manager adjusted doors and they are still not even. I let that go...Jennifer patched my front door with bondo. Came back out and painted my door. The same day, their repair man diagnosed my freezer and wheel. He said he would need to order new wheels and put in a new ice maker but no guarantee the new ice maker is the problem. I emailed the company several times and they acted as if I iwas the problem! they make excuses, called me aggressive, said repair man didnt want to come back out because of me. Turns out the warranty company would not honor the warranty if someone had already tried to fix it. I was then told to go away, no further contact. I then contacted warranty company and now they wont honor warranty because Flippin Jays did not give me a proper purchase reciept. This company ripped me off and my only recourse now is to get an attorney. I paid $2500 plus install and delivery. I filed a claim with Better Business Bureau as well. This has caused me so much stress and anxiety and I am still dealing with it a month later. BUYER BEWARE.... read more

We went in looking for a refrigerator. Plenty to choose from. It's a warehouse type place. Scratch and dent. I did not see any new refrigerators. Also saw some couches and sectionals that were new. Prices seem pretty good. Refrigerator came with a 90 day warranty. Better place than the Sears outlet. We went back a couple of days later to pick up the refrigerator and mother and son where there. In the warehouse I wasn't able to see behind the machines but once I got them home I noticed that they had definitely been used. Returned them and got a BRAND NEW set OF THE SAME EXACT MODELS or newer I guess because they were made this year, but they look identical, from Lowe's with free delivery and install (we had to bring them home and install ourselves to avoid an additional ~$150 @flippinjays) for roughly $60 more... And it's under warranty. This company falsely advertises their "discounts" but their "new" appliances are everything but. I do not recommend buying appliances here AT ALL. The company fails to admit their false advertising of "discounted" products. When I called them out on it their response was (roughly) that's the customers problem if they buy it without researching prices. read more

Man these guys are awesome. Just moved from CT and apparently it's a thing down here that everyone takes their washer and dryer when selling a house. So I found myself needing some appliances. They have a large selection of scratch and dent items all with new warranties. It's a large warehouse with a variety of furniture and appliances. Everything they had was good quality, the furniture is all new, the appliances from what I saw all scratch and dent. Laid back sale approach, very helpful and accommodating. I was looking for a quick turn around and they didn't disappoint. Jay and his partner went above and beyond to help out my wife and I. Even delivered the washer and dryer the next day. Made us feel like old friends, you wouldn't expect having fun buying appliances but these guys are a blast.
