I came in here on a Tuesday afternoon. There were only a few customers. The store is pretty small and has mainly large furniture pieces - couches, tables, chairs, dressers, etc. They do have a minimal selection of artwork, vases, lamps, pillows, etc. Overall, I thought they did not have the best selection of items, the staff were not overly friendly or helpful (no one spoke to me while I was in the store), and the prices seemed very high for consignment items. A second hand upholstered chair for $900 seems steep! Also several of the items I saw were damaged or defective, and the prices did not seem to reflect that. The BLACKLION is located next door, and I believe they have a superior selection, more quality items, and better prices. I'll only be back here if I'm visiting the BLACKLION, and have time to pop in here!

I've consigned items lots of times over the years including at three different consignment shops in Charlotte. Consignments on Park was hands down the worst experience I ever had. The difference between what you were told verbally about their consignment process and the fine print of their agreement is as wide as the Grand Canyon! My bad for not reading the fine print more carefully and trusting the store personnel to treat me fairly. I found out the hard way that they don't pay a commission on the full price they sell your items for, they don't answer phone calls, and they build in all kinds of processing fees and penalties. Horrible service, rude treatment and all I can say is never again! By the way, the attached image was taken of some little items on their main counter next to their cash register. Yeah they're meant to be humorous but they are actually a very clear indicator of their attitude towards their customers.

This consignment/antique store was just okay for me. The store itself is very pretty, and everything is displayed very nicely. But the prices are a bit much for most of the items. It is still a good store to browse and get ideas for your own place. It is filled with more upscale items rather than the normal mish-mosh of a common antique/consignment store, and I found it much easier to shop because of the way everything was displayed. If you are a true antique-er who loves to scour and find beat up old items to fix as new again, this is not your place. But if you are someone who can appreciate expensive things and doesn't mind the "gently used" items, while still acheiving an up-to-date look then it is worth the stop.

I love going to consignment stores and seeing what kind of deals I can get. Consignments on park may not be the largest consignment shop in town but its hands down the best consignment shop in Charlotte. I have been shopping at this store regularly for about 5years now and the quality of the merchandise they have on hand is unmatched with brands like Bassett, Thomasville, Ethan Allen, Hancock and Moore you cannot go wrong here. The prices are always great you can get beautiful custom pieces that look almost brand new for 50% or below the retail value! They have a good mix of large furniture pieces as well as smaller home decor items! Being a regular shopper I have come to know the owners of this store they are wonderful! The truly take pride in what they do and it shows in how the business is presented. With a great staff that is knowledgeable and always displays the kind of customer service all businesses should have I will have to say I will be back for many of years to come! Keep up the good work.

Hugely overpriced. Reselling cheap Target and Amazon furniture for hundreds of dollars. Don't waste your time.

Sabrina greeted me when I entered the store and immediately had solutions for my returns and new purchases. I had placed an online order an hour earlier as I left the Independence Blvd Store that morning hoping to snag a clearance item. As I was directed to the section of the store for the patio cushions, I was going to return and purchase matching cushions, as the Pineville store definitely had more inventory! Again, Sabrina was training a new cashier and was so helpful to both of us as we navigated the process to get me out of there. In addition, Lourdes helped to expedite and bring the item that I ordered online to me, which was so generous! Both of these team members went above and beyond in customer service for me today and I wanted the district manager and the store manager to please recognize both of them and let them know that I'm telling everyone to shop at the Pineville store, even though I live Uptown. Thank you so much Sabrina and Lourdes for making my day and my interaction with you both so easy and enjoyable.

Everything here is basically handmade or painted, so it's unique and you won't walk into your neighbors house and find the same setup as the chain retail furniture places. This place is so cozy it's like each section is a part of your home and you could totally see every single piece in your House. That's amazing. I've lived two minutes a way for 13 years and never took to patronizing the shops on Main more than once. Mainly because I assumed it was out of my price range. But guess what...it isn't and you get what you pay for. And quality costs and here I wouldn't mind. Definitely will return for more goodies. Oh and the sales lady was nice and inviting and very help

There were a couple of ladies circled in the back of the store engaged in conversation. Aside from this intimate circle, no one else was in the store. Also, it is a small store, so you absolutely can see when someone comes in. The cold shoulder led me to leave the store, and visit Kiki's Kottage (which is only a few doors down) where I was promptly and warmly greeted. Kiki's has beautiful pieces, and I purchased a gorgeous buffet there. I had a stellar customer service experience from start to finish at Kiki's. I was prepared to purchase items at Madison's, but too bad no one cared to acknowledge me as a customer whatsoever.

A man who identified himself as the person in charge (Harry) repeatedly questioned me about my service animal. I clearly stated multiple times that my dog is a trained service animal -- NOT an ESA -- and that she is ADA compliant. Despite this, he continued to challenge me and ultimately forced me to leave. For the record: Under federal law (Americans with Disabilities Act), businesses are NOT allowed to demand "papers," documentation, or proof for a service animal. They are only permitted to ask two specific questions, both of which I answered correctly. My dog was not disruptive, not on the ground, and not touching anything -- I was actively ensuring she was completely out of the way. This was not about cleanliness or safety. This was ignorance of the law and blatant discrimination against a disabled person. Being publicly questioned, challenged, and removed from a business for using a service animal is humiliating, stressful, and unacceptable -- and it is illegal. If you are disabled, use a service animal, or care at all about accessibility and basic human decency, do not support this business. Southern Lion has made it clear they do not respect federal law or disabled patrons. I will be pursuing further action and strongly encourage others to be aware of their rights before stepping foot here.

Knowing their policy is all sales are final, I went back with the damaged shade to see if the vendor could order another shade and we split the cost. The owner's first response was "how do I know you're telling the truth." She repeated that several times during our discussion. Long story short, she doesn't recall saying that to me... I don't appreciate being accused of lying. If you buy a lamp there, check your lampshade before buying. I'll take my dollars elsewhere.
