There are plenty of seating options for couples or larger groups, and the sofas were sturdy, comfortable, and clean. The drinks were excellent, and the bartenders were attentive, friendly, and made each drink with care. I believe they offer happy hour all day on Sundays, and the happy hour menu includes several great drink options. I would definitely come back and grab a seat at the bar.

And when you drive by this bar, you may think it's closed too as it's super dark looking from the outside except for the bar sign and the gas lanterns. It gives that speakeasy vibe. Nice you walk in you'll see where the party is happening. Multiple spaces within bar, each offering its own character. The seating gives off a relaxed vibe with couches and carpets a long the floor. Order drinks at the bar and then a place to lounge. The menu offer some unique drinks, including a caviar drink that will set you back somewhere in the low 30s. Worth a visit just for the vibes. Definitely a unique place in Baton Rouge.

My friend and I LOVE apps and small plates. This is the perfect place. Also nothing here is above…read more40$ so it makes it even more enjoyable. We started with the special strawberry Basil daiquiri and it was small but it was a 9/10. We got the Brussels and they were amazing with the goat cheese. I wish they were less steamed and more crispy I guess ? 8/10 Surf and turf board was incredible. Everything on the board was amazing and it was only 35$ 10/10 Then we decided to get the chorizo flatbread. I was not a fan - but my friend said she loved it. The cheesecake was really good as well. The drinks were always on point. And we plan to come back and try different things next time. The staff was super friendly and great at clearing the table. The place was also super cute.

Both good choices. Overall, the wine pairing was okay. I like the appetizer pairing of a nice light, white bubbly prosecco. The second was a classic red wine to pair with a steak. The last wine is where I was not impressed. It was a dessert wine that had a smell similar to a distilled whiskey. I took a sip and decided I rather another glass of prosecco. Shout out to the server who was accommodating and swapped out that glass for what I requested. He didn't have to, but he did! The food was mouth watering delicious. We started off with the sauteed shrimp and the piquillo peppers. THANK GOD the piquillo peppers are a Solera regular. I will be getting them again. The shrimp were just okay, nothing out of this world. Second course was the filet with polenta. It was absolutely delicious and packed with flavors that complimented each other well. Final course we had the rum bread pudding and the manchego cheesecake. The manchego cheese is definitely a rich and an acquiring flavor. Without the blueberry sauce, you would think its just a slab of cheese. The rum bread pudding was spectacular. I have never loved a rum sauce with my bread pudding, but the Solera one kept me wanting more. Overall and enjoyable experience, with a couple minor foods that lack the razzle dazzle of a 5 star review.
