    Shrimp Tacos

This is definitely a first time experience. First the parking is actually under the overpass, but the scene is very vibrant. Excellent service with a smile, and it got busy quickly as it was game day for LSU, great bar which I believe that's why most were there, but in a good way. The truffle fries as a starter came with two dips, garlic aioli, and ketchup, they were crisp and the shredded Parmesan enhanced the taste. The shrimp tacos were very nice, good portion and shrimp was plump and delicious, but the star was the pork belly buns, great flavor with char the bun was sweet and matched the savory perfectly. Loved the vibrant atmosphere, and will be back for the Sunday brunch.

Great brunch spot. It's locates literally under an overpass. Lol. Their specialties are these huge sandwiches on biscuits. I loved the spicy pineapple margarita..it was a little sweet and had a kick. The shrimp and grits had nice flavor. I like my grits a little creamier but that's just me. My chicken sandwich was huge! I will admit that I thought the biscuit was a tad bit dry. Overall a good experience with a variety if interesting menu items.

Went for Sunday brunch as it was one of the only places open at 9am. Super cute inside, and our waitress was nice but not great. Food was good, biscuit was bleh, and parking was interesting. Ordered: Sunrise fries: so much flavor and really loved. The sausage gravy is amazing The honey chicken cheddar biscuit: the biscuit had absolutely no flavor. It was fine cause we paid extra for the sausage gravy and just smothered it with that. But if you didn't, you may be disappointed Parking Really considered giving it a 3/5 for this, but this could be new user error. We parked under the overpass, and it had rained the day before. It's gravel, so there were a ton of potholes and pools of water. I was very scared driving out of it in my car. Just be warned if you have a small car, parking may not be amazing

Went on a rainy Sunday! Was seated immediately. Had my nieces, mom and brother with me. Our waitress was AMAZING! As my picky eater nieces took forever to order. Food was amazing!!! Love the set up of the inside. Can't wait to try lunch or dinner menu.

The food and drinks were good. Service was well and server was very patient with us. The only tiny issue I had was that it's a very small restaurant. Not enough room for private conversations and everyone is kind of elbow to elbow. Other than that, I will be visiting again. Good was extremely delicious.

Always love coming to the overpass for good drinks and the cheese curds! Wasn't super impressed with brunch today, the biscuit was a little dry and the chicken wasn't up to par as it usually is

All really good. Apparently Mondays is trivia ight which is fun! Always sub fries for those lovely truffle fries. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the margs are great. If you're a ranch girl like myself, their homemade ranch is fire

The food was really good and came out super fast! We got the brussel sprouts, burger, and kale Caesar salad. We loved the ambiance of the place.

I was able to come back again for brunch and it was absolutely delicious. No brunch would be complete without their orange juice.

Cute little restaurant with a charming atmosphere. Our waitress was incredibly friendly, adding to the pleasant experience. It was quite loud inside, which made conversation a bit difficult. The food came out in a reasonable time. The fried green beans weren't to my taste, but I can see how it can be a fan favorite for others. The burger was delicious and perfectly cooked. However, the French fries were overcooked for my liking. Overall, a decent spot for a meal with good service.

Cheese Curds (we ate a few before I snapped the photo).

    Is this restaurant Vegan friendly?

There are several items where you can just skip the cheese or aioli dip for vegan friendly (salads, truffle fries, broccoli and cauliflower). I've had the fries and broccoli/cauliflower, very DELICIOUS!

Although the restaurant was very busy, we were seated within 15 minutes, which was quite unusual--in a good way--and set the tone for the rest of the experience. Our waiter, Aiden, was outstanding. He promptly took our drink and appetizer orders. We ordered three fried crab finger appetizers, one sautéed crab finger appetizer, three dozen chargrilled oysters, and gumbo. Everything arrived in a timely manner and was prepared perfectly. When it came time to place our dinner orders, Aiden didn't miss a beat. He was attentive, efficient, and handled our table effortlessly without appearing overwhelmed. The food was excellent, and the service was just as impressive. This level of service and food quality was a pleasant surprise, as we haven't experienced consistency like this at this restaurant since it opened. In the past, we often had issues that needed addressing and experienced long wait times. Our entire visit lasted about an hour and a half. If the service and food quality continue at this level, I will definitely be returning more often.

We got the crabmeat stuffed mushrooms and the crab claws to start and those about threw off the whole dinner they were that bad. The mushrooms were alright, but oh my god they were so greasy it was too much. The crab claws were overcooked and barely had any flavor. The shrimp salad was terrible it tasted so fishy even the lettuce didn't taste fresh. How in the world can you mess up a salad ? Beyond me anyway the only thing here that they will always get right are the chargrilled oysters. I will give this location another try due to our original experience, but they better make up for last time.

Entering through the tunnel you get the sense that you're stepping into a place you shouldn't really be and Sylvain seems to accentuate that with this secretive environment that feels almost like a cocktail lounge. The service was fantastic with the hostess seating us for our reservation right away and the waiter being incredibly patient and helpful during our dinner. We had someone in our party love the playlist here so much they asked the bartender for it as well. The menu is bold and complex but they were happy to strip it back to basics if needed. It was extremely cold in the restaurant though, so make sure to dress warm, especially in the colder months. We ordered their cast iron cornbread, chicken sandwich (no pickles or hot sauce), and their special of the night which was a pork-veal mix sausage on a milk bread bun and topped with sauerkraut. The cornbread was dry but the flavor was good. The butter they gave with it had cajun spices infused and gave it a nice zip although it was a bit too salty. Their fried chicken sandwich was delicious, light and crispy with salty shoestring fries that hit the mark. Lastly, their house special of the sausage was great. The sausage itself was well seasoned and the bun was soft and sweet. It was a bit salty with the added sauerkraut but the mix of flavors was still delicious. We also ordered a drink, just erotic not kinky, which was delicious. It's a bourbon with blackberry and lemon juice that was strong and refreshing at the same time. Sylvain is a culinary delight surrounded by an area that demands it. The food could be a tick better but it is still very, very good with fantastic service to bolster it. Whether you want a casual dinner or to drink cocktails in the French Quarter, this is a spot that is worth a look and your money, especially if you're with a big party.

I'm aging out of late night shows, so I took a pass on seeing Kings of Leon, Raye, Stephen Marley, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Blind Boys of Alabama, and Cowboy Mouth. Instead, I headed toward Frenchmen Street, and the Three Muses. The musicians from Bad Penny Pleasuremakers were setting up as I arrived around 6 p.m. By the time my drinks arrived the band was in full swing mode. Mills at the bar took my order - beef bulgogi ($16), a bottle of PBR ($5), and a Maker's Mark neat ($10) did the job. I paid at the bar and took the number letting the server know where to deliver the meal. The band kicked in, and I was transported to heaven. This is a small, open space where the band can dominate without being intrusive. I took my time with my meal, soaking up the generous vibe the band was sharing with the 20 or 30 of us in the hall. I should note a local resource that might get unsung: 99.7 wwoz tracks the music of New Orleans year round, and does a great job alerting us to venues and performances at places like Three Muses.
