It was basically all tomato paste but did not taste like tomato or did really have any flavor. It was odd at best. Other things observed. My wife noticed French fries in a heating box. They were there when sat down and did not move until we already had our pizza. It was at least 10-15 minutes. Then it was served to the table behind us. Needless to say they did not eat but a few of them. We looked after they left. From what I heard around everyone else likes the Alfredo sauce and the bruschetta. I do not think I will be returning. If I do I will be trying the pasta with Alfredo. The prices were fair and the service was good. I just really wish I could say the pizza was worth it.

In this area of Garrard County (North Lancaster), beggars can't be choosers. You're 15 minutes from…read moreany restaurant or fast food, and sometimes fast food just doesn't tickle your fancy. You want something super quick and easy and because there is nothing else around, your "last stop" or maybe "last resort" is this pizza shop. Knowing what a bind you've put yourself in, as a self-respecting adult you accept any and all repercussions of your lack of forethought or effort to have or cook food at the house. You set your expectations appropriately low and give Last Stop a phone call to place an order for pickup. A very kind and polite person answers the phone and takes your order. You're already pleasantly surprised. 15-20 minutes and your pizza will be ready. You diddle daddle for a few and then go a very short drive to pick up your order. You arrive and you're greeted by another very polite and well-mannered young person at the drive-up window who retrieves your pizza and collects payment. You notice by looking in through the window that the place is neat, tidy and clean. Your wife opens the pizza box and exclaims how good it looks despite having no real crust. You arrive back home and quickly tear into the pizza because you're starved and in a pinch. The pizza is hot, has plenty of cheese and isn't super greasy. Now is it the best pizza you've ever had? Of course not, but you wouldn't expect it to be. Does it eat? You bet your buns it does. After a slice or two, you begin to pinpoint where the pie's weakness lies--the crust. Neither crispy nor fluffy, the crust verges on chewy, but you don't let that stop you from enjoying another slice. Last Stop places the pepperonis and any other toppings underneath the cheese. This prevents the pepperonis from getting crispy and flavorful, though likely keeps the pie from getting greasy. A trade off that, though regrettable, is not a dealbreaker for this reviewer. Service was excellent, pizza was good enough and I'm happy.

My lovely wife got the waffle cone double with fat Elvis. Her only issue is missing banana flavor. She like the banana to be strong but that is also hard to do with peanut butter and Oreos also competing for taste buds. Prices were good. Although banana split which is my favorite thing to get at $12.50 was a little high for me. Shocked the skillet cookie was $3 cheaper. We really loved this place and the staff there was amazing. There were atleast 4 there and all were so helpful and friendly. Will definitely be heading back there.

(But knowing in my head this is completely wrong, but maybe she misunderstood what I wanted) I go to my car and decide at the last second, to go back in, told her what I thought I was getting, telling her and having to explain to a "baker" what a "boule" is. So, I took the bread home, showed my husband and he was in awe as to what we paid for (7.25!). I opened it up, she had wrapped the bread in a PLASTIC WRAP!!!!? What kind of baker wraps a fresh loaf of bread in PLASTIC? You're supposed to put in PAPER! ANYHOW, the bread was as IF it had been baked a day or two before. Did not smell like a good bread, but like a loaf of bread you would get at Walmart. I call her and tell her what the problem is she says to bring it back and she will return my money. Thank you, that was kind. But when I DO return it, her excuse was... "I guess it didn't rise enough as bread has its own mind"!!!! First of all, if you thought the bread did not rise correctly, WHY did you sell it to me? Secondly, don't make dumb remarks like that. If you knew the bread was not what it should have been, call me and tell me that you have to remake the loaf, I would have liked that better than to get an awful loaf of bread. As for the croissants, they should be crispy on the outside and soft and airy and pillowy on the inside and taste of butter. These are like rolls!! With a bit of butter baked in. Subpar. I have been to several bakeries overseas, and have a friend who owned a bakery. This is NOTHING compared to a true bakery. Sorry, not sorry....

I give this place only four stars because there was not a great selection in drinks (cream soda, root beer, al8, or water) and the coffee was terrible! The sweet lady at the register even made us a fresh pot but neither me nor my mother could drink it. I do recommend this place overall. I will go there again, especially because the desserts displayed at their counter looked AMAZING. I must try some of their cupcakes and their cinnamon bun!
