Not too much to say about Millburn Medical imaging. The couple times I brought my client here the…read morestaff were pleasant with making appointments and processing scripts and insurance. Even when there were renewals and confirmations in order from the clients doctor, they did the leg work of contacting the doctor themselves which is a big help for me so I don't have to call and wait, as I'm not a medical facility. My client who needs a lot of physical accommodation stated that the technicians were nice and patient with him which I think is important, as I did not accompany him to testing. Only thing about here is the building shares sort of little coffee snack shop, often found in business buildings or offices where multiple providers work out of. This one's shop is just paltry. It looks like someone just went to the supermarket and put some snack bags in there and then that same person brought their coffee maker to serve of some coffee then charge you for it. It's just kinda inadequate when I've seen much better at other buildings. Unfortunately you'd better grab your coffee and snack before coming here or you'll be stuck with the options here, no place else to go. If you're coming for imaging though, hopefully it won't be any issue with staff or a limited coffee shop.

Then Im able to go in the nurse says we have to reschedule because I did not follow direction I was given. I explained they had the wrong number and I was not notified. She became very defensive and super combative instead of accountability. I had to call them and ask when did I set the appt. She walked out the room, no say so of instruction! The towel and gel still on my stomach!! I went because it was close but go somewhere if you are looking for less wait time and professionalism.

After having a negative experience with a vein center last year, I was very nervous and…read moreapprehensive about seeking a new doctor for treatment. I was grateful when a co-worker recommended Dr. Delaura; the doctor she used for varicose veins treatment a few years ago. I decided to call his office and make an appointment for a consultation. Upon meeting Dr Delaura and his staff, I was confident that they were highly experienced and could help me take care of my varicose veins in the best manner possible. From day one, his entire staff was professional, friendly, and made the process simple and pain-free for me. I highly recommend Dr. DeLaura and his team at Image Guided Surgery. I am very pleased with my results.

Our pediatrician sent us to the St. Barnabas ER twice this weekend. This was the worst hospital…read moreexperience I have ever had. Do not go here. Run far away. Go to any other hospital. Everyone from the nurses to the doctors were curt, cold, and rude. Dr. Loretta Cinquepalmi was patronizing, unfeeling, and critical. We had her both times we went to the ER. She was dismissive and interrupted me frequently and spoke down to us the entire visit. After being rushed back to the ER on our pediatrician's recommendation, she asked us "Why are you here AGAIN?" and then requested my pediatrician's phone number because she couldn't fathom why we would return. She called my pediatrician (who was very concerned about my son's medical condition) and said "Why would you bother sending him back?" He reported she was condescending with him as well. She spoke to my mother and me as if we were the village idiots. The nurses were cold as well, strapping my 4-year-old down to the bed to get his blood drawn without so much as speaking to him or looking his way. The receptionist checking us in was the only person who was kind. But a nice receptionist is not why you should choose an ER for your child. I will never return to this ER. Do not repeat my mistake -- go to another hospital instead.

Got burned in an accident at work and was sent here for treatment. The doctors and nurses here…read morewere great. Being burned is a scary event and the recovery and treatments are pretty traumatic. The staff here made it seem easier than it was. Mind you my injuries were a lot less severe than most. All the same I was glad I was sent here. The reason for the subtraction of 1 star is that they kept trying to bill me $10. I was a workmans Comp case so I wouldn't owe anything. It took me about 15 calls to clear this up. Other than that my treatment was great.

Central scheduling for the business - crappy. They missed scanning/saving the script for the local…read moredoctor, they missed scheduling the right location (they put us over an hour away) and then messed up the dates. However, Judy here at the Millburn location, bless her heart, set up the right account info, scheduled, and put us at the top of the list to get addressed. So 100% the positive part of the rating here goes to Judy and the team for x-rays and ultrasounds and more. That would've been a 4-star sequence. X-ray tech gets in at 8am, as a note, so coming early is just to do paperwork. -50% loss of score here was for the central scheduling team who didn't care enough to do the job properly after a couple calls.

Had to bring my mother to the ER here during mother's day weekend and our experience was fantastic…read morethroughout. From the moment we walked into the emergency room we were seen immediately. The staff on hand was also nice enough to help me being that I had my sick mother one one side and my father who has parkinson's with me since my mother is his primary caregiver. The ER staff worked quickly and efficiently to run tests after which she was admitted to the hospital for two days. We were moved over to the newer building which is unbelievable. Beautiful, spacious, clean and pretty glamorous for a hospital. Again the staff at the hospital was super accommodating and understanding that my father insisted on being at her side even though he would have been much more comfortable at home. Thank you to Beatrice, Amanda and Julie (the only names I remembered to write down) in the kidney transplant wing, and to everyone whose name I did not get for taking such good care of us. My mom does not speak english but again the staff was super helpful and had a walkie-talkie type radio on them that could bring up someone who could speak the language (awesome idea). They helped us order breakfast for my mother (there is an entire menu you can choose from which is fabulous) and even made sure to ask if my father had eaten as well.

If you want to be another fatal statistic, play roulette with your life or loved ones life, during…read morea serious life threatening emergency, than RWJ ST Barnabas Livingston ER, is the place to be. I would not recommend the Emergency room at St Barnabas to the most vile individual. The Emergency Room at RWJ St Barnabas Hospital Livingston is a place I would not recommend any breathing soul to visit. PLEASE DO YOUR LOVED ONES A FAVOR, GO ELSEWHERE (Morristown Memorial, St Claire's, Holyname, Englewood) Our experience felt like something straight off tv! Pediatric Nurse Erin R (a disgrace) and Grace R (horrible) Nurses in pediatrics HORRIBLE! These nurses are a disgrace to RWJ St Barnabas. The Pediatric Emergency Room is beyond horrible. My child could not walk, or stand. I asked the nurse at the entrance if she could bring a stretcher to help, get my child into the ER., my child was weak, in enormous pain. The nurse huffed at me like I was asking for millions of dollars. My child was admitted, needed 2 transfusions, and needed intensive care. The lack of compassion, care, no concern, desensitized, inappropriate behavior of the ER nursing staff, lack of communication amongst doctor's, nurses, and patients is life threatening. I will say the Pediatric floor has improved, and I appreciate all of the nurses that has cared for my child for the past 4 years. Unfortunately due to a few bad apples in the ER, we will never return to this place, regardless of the circumstances. This hospital is a train wreck looking for a time, and place. It won't be with my family or friends! Yes sharing your review on social media will encourage others to think twice. Hopefully positive changes for the better will happen, that hold a few bad surgeons, and nurses accountable. The Joint Commission, medical board, nursing license board, consumer affairs, as well as going after these negligent surgeons at St Barnabas ability to write medication for pain, narcotics will get immediate attention, adding loss of accreditation, possibly being kicked to a Tier 2 hospital which will hurt the hospital financially. Only after RWJ St Barnabas is held fully accountable on every level that affects there finances will they understand the depth of pain, and disappointment, that they have caused patients, families, and the community!
