As a result of their incompetence, I lost $500 in wages for absolutely nothing. Twice I was given the wrong address and I even told them 445 Chestnut St. in Edison New Jersey is an empty field. Twice they told me Edison New Jersey when it is Union New Jersey! This place is run by mental midgets who I would never ever never recommend them to anyone unless I really didn't like the person. Their three-star rating makes sense--this appears to be a pattern, not a fluke. Do not go here. If you value your time, your job, or basic professionalism, take your business elsewhere. There are much better places to get an open air MRI for a CAT scan there are some great ones in Edison New Jersey that have nothing to do with this place you could find some in New Brunswick as well stay away from NJIN Union New Jersey and the morons that work at this place. Then I call back and ask for a compliance office phone number to lodge a complaint and they kept giving me another person from the call center, so 45 minutes later I get the number and surprise, surprise; the recording says the phone number is restricted or unavailable. Here the staff is more personable, interactive, and helpful. NURSE- VITA was great in every way!!! Transferred from observational floor 5 days to "in patient" with no further tests to be done. I reminded them to go through my insurance and they said they would and then send me what remains. I did not hear back from them until the following year when they sent me the same bill. This time, I reached out and shared with them the claim information that said it was paid by my insurance, including the day they cashed the check. They thanked me and said they would reach out if they needed to. They never did. Now, in 2020, I just received a letter from a collection agency with a false charge and had to prove, again, that they received compensation for their work over a year ago. A center that falsifies documents so that they can push their billing hassles onto a collection agency for them to do their work is a business one should avoid at all costs. Pun intended.

So I've been to this establishment once and never again. I spent close to 5 hours there. I was the…read morelast patient to leave. I arrived on time via an emt transport service to an empty waiting room. When it was time to go to the back room there was one unseen person and someone already that had been taken care of. Much time goes by and the back is a pretty small space so when a patient announces loudly where is the doctor it's heard around the room. That's when I heard that the doctor had an emergency call and wasn't there. Which was quite a discourteous way to go about things. I think that should've been said early on and unprompted to notify the patients of the long wait so we could decide what to do. Because everyone in that area was dependent on some kind of transportation from someone else. So to be lackadaisical about time frames is pretty disrespectful. So even more time pass and patients are wanting to reschedule. This was met with bullshit lies, theatrics, and rhetoric about him being on his way right now, "15 mins", they will be better off staying, they will have to still wait if they reschedule because he's so busy and is only there once a week. How it's in the patient best interest to just stay and wait. Just saying anything to keep the warm bodies in the bed. So as far as the staff is concern I would say don't trust them. They are liars. So the doctor finally comes in the building and by all accounts my mother should be seen second based on her appointment time and the time we showed up. Dr. Curi saw the person who was in the back area first who was right next to my chair then proceeded across the room and saw another patient. A patient who was behind at least me and another person. I spoke up and said I was here before them and my appointment time was before them in which I believe her name is Ilana said that it was just a "quick thing" to go over and I will be seen soon. Then I was skipped over TWO MORE TIMES! And I spoke up again and the same woman ilana /Alana (something like that) said it's not just about appointment times. I was furious at this point. So Dr. Curi (the surgeon) finally comes over to my mother after essentially having no one else to skip over me and quickly assess she should go to the ER. However long it takes to clean and wrap her arm back up because some other techs came in there already and took off the bandage before he came over was how long the treatment took. So prob not even 3 minutes. So by all accounts why was my mother not seen earlier? She has dementia so I tried to be her vocal advocate when we were consistently being overlooked. I had the appointment. I was next. He spent more time with the other patients than my mother so it was quick which according to one of the staff members that's a criteria for skipping the queue. Why did I have to travel from East Orange to Union to wait 5 hours to be seen for 3 minutes just to be sent to a hospital in Newark. No one else at the facility had that capability to make that assessment or decision? Or I just deserved to eat shit today along with my mother? I hate you.

Even when there were renewals and confirmations in order from the clients doctor, they did the leg work of contacting the doctor themselves which is a big help for me so I don't have to call and wait, as I'm not a medical facility. My client who needs a lot of physical accommodation stated that the technicians were nice and patient with him which I think is important, as I did not accompany him to testing. Only thing about here is the building shares sort of little coffee snack shop, often found in business buildings or offices where multiple providers work out of. This one's shop is just paltry. It looks like someone just went to the supermarket and put some snack bags in there and then that same person brought their coffee maker to serve of some coffee then charge you for it. It's just kinda inadequate when I've seen much better at other buildings. Unfortunately you'd better grab your coffee and snack before coming here or you'll be stuck with the options here, no place else to go. If you're coming for imaging though, hopefully it won't be any issue with staff or a limited coffee shop.
