Since he was a newborn we waited 30-45 for the doctor in a room. (Mind you they make the baby get undressed so they're freezing while waiting to be seen) You literally have to clear a 2 hour block in your schedule whenever you take your child to this office. They never have appointments available, they're always booked 2 months out so you can never reschedule your appointment if need be.

You never have to hesitate to ask questions and any concerns you have outside of the office gets addressed that day. We are so fortunate to have such a kind and loving Pediatrician. I do have to clarofy that Doctor Flynn is good, patient and very clear with the information he gives parents, but the rest of the service needs a lot (and I mean A LOT) of improvement.

I recently went to her for my yearly physical, she has been my primary doctor for years and I have had no issues until this year. Once my parent had left the room she kept asking me why I gained weight with the points on the chart being her only data, no labs or anything to indicate an actual medical issue caused by or influencing weight. She told me that at my age I should not be gaining weight, only losing or staying the same. She also likened my mental health medication to a weight loss drug and claimed that by now "they should be working to help me lose appetite and thus weight" even though it is a non-desired side effect that has nothing to do with why I take it. She also insisted that I should see an endocrinologist to help lose weight as well as a nutritionist to get me in a diet without any confirmation that the weight gain is a detriment to my health. I repeatedly told her that I saw no issue with my weight and she kept pushing as if it was a requirement for me to have the same skinny bodies as the rest of my family. This experience was absolutely unacceptable, for a pediatrician to have such disregard for growing people's self image and to insult them and their body repeatedly when they are alone in the room with the patient is despicable. Later that day when confronted with choice of meal I actually started crying and nearly had a panic attack because of what she said to me. This is the kind of behavior that gives people eating disorders that can kill them. After speaking with my therapist and psychiatrist about the situation and how much it affected me they informed me they knew of Dr. Knowles and that my bad experience was not the first they heard. Truly shame on you.

I forgot the type of headache medication she prescribed for me before. She gets an attitude because I don't know the actual name ofthe medicine. All she had to do was check the system to see which medicine it was. Totally unacceptable!! If you don't like your job! QUIT!! I've never had a issue with her before but today was different. I understand some days are difficult, but it's not the patients fault. I'm good on going back. I'll have another doctor. God Bless
