The doctor that checked my son out, said he had scabies. She barely looked at his hand one minute she said that we all need to get treated and then the next minute she was like no you're fine. I was like what the heck how can one minute you say that we need to get treated in the next minute you take it back. I ended up taking him to his regular pediatrician and she acted, looked at him, looked in his mouth and he had hand foot and mouth disease. This is like the third time that they misdiagnosed this and I was supposed to go away tomorrow thank God I went to my regular pediatrician because I could've spread that like wild fire. I WILL NEVER EVER GO BACK TO THIS TERRIBLE PLACE AGAIN! Where do these dr's even get there certification from?! Is that hard to diagnose kids?!

Unfortunately, our recent visit with Dr. Fishkind was an awful experience and, without question, the worst interaction I have ever had with a doctor. He was completely dismissive of our concerns and implied that we were overreacting. His behavior toward both my preteen daughter and me was extremely rude and lacking any empathy. Parents do not bring their children to urgent care lightly. We were there because our child was in pain and needed prompt medical attention, yet Dr. Fishkind made us feel as though we were wasting his time. The experience was humiliating and deeply upsetting. After reading other reviews, it is clear there is a consistent pattern of similar behavior from this doctor--dismissiveness and misdiagnosis. It is disappointing and surprising that PM Pediatrics appears to have taken no action to address this issue. PM Pediatrics used to be a reliable and excellent option when our pediatrician was unavailable. After this experience, we will not be returning.

Wife and wife's sisters kids as well. So far I have been here 2x. Both have been pretty nice experiences. Very little wait while in the room. Sometimes its a bit hard to call and say, hey I'm outside! Walk in, say hi, and they direct you into a room right away. There is a nurse with a thick accent that kind of annoyed my wife the first time that we were there. She really pushed breast over formula, and didn't let up until I forced the topic to change. Other than that, she did a nice job. She really made sure that we were taking care of our son properly. We saw a different doctor the first visit, then Dr. D. the second time. Both were very friendly. They have been there for years and are great doctors. Both were very patient and very nice. All in all, I do not have anything really bad to say about this place. If has friendly staff, clean rooms, and fast service. Great place for your son or daughter!

I guess that's why he's been recognized as one of NJ's Top Doctors for the past couple of years. He actually takes the time to hear one out and figure out what the root of the problem is. My childhood best friend had a beautiful baby boy, and I attended a Brit Mila ceremony conducted by…read moreDr. Dania Rumbak. In conversations before the bris, I knew that my friend was nervous about the process, the ceremony, and the actual circumcision. I can say with confidence that Dr. Rumbak put the family's mind at ease both with her expertise and her gentle approach. As a "spectator" at the ceremony, Dr. Rumbak passed around sheets so we can all follow along and feel part of the ceremony, and explained what different blessings meant. She also added some Jewish text in a modern and relevant way, which I appreciated, and my family continued to discuss post ceremony. The sweet baby did super well and was calm throughout the entire process. Truthfully, I didn't even know when the actual circumcision actually happened because she was so gentle and discrete. At the end of the ceremony, many people went up to Dr. Rumbak to compliment her on one of the best brit mila's they ever went to, and many asked for her card (including my mom for our temple!). She has a great business partner in Shachar, who socialized with the guests of the ceremony, kept everything organized, and was just an all around stand up guy. Oh, and how great that she is a mohel AND a doctor. Talk about putting your mind at ease..that will definitely do it. Highly recommend.

Would have loved so much to give a glowing review of Dr. Rumbak but unfortunately we look back on…read morethe day of my son's bris and what transpired after with a lot of sadness. Dr. Rumbak deserves credit and thanks for her discretion in not circumcising our son the day of his bris due to a urological condition she noticed in her ore-ceremony examination. We are thankful for that. She performed what essentially worked out to a baby naming ceremony for us. Obviously the day was emotional to begin with and the news she couldn't circumcise was extremely disappointing and heartbreaking since this was a day we looked forward to for so long. In the days after the bris we were able to absorb the events better and realized exactly what happened. To begin with, my wife asked for a program to keep as they were being collected (yes, collected), and the response was, "I collect them." She said the same to my mom (baby's grandma). We consider this ridiculous - even if the baby's grandparents couldn't have one, at least the parents should. When I emailed Dr. Rumbak about the issue I'm about to describe, I also mentioned the program and that part of my email was left unaddressed. Here's the major problem, though. We paid $800 for a circumcision plus $150 for travel from Manhattan to Nassau. We were happy to do this because we really liked Dr. Rumbak on the phone. However, after the bris, we had a bit of a realization that really irked us. Why were we never offered any kind of refund for the circumcision not being performed? It really should have been offered that day, on the spot, but it wasn't. Days and weeks turned to months and we still were never offered anything. We didn't even get an email or phone call to check on our son given the medical issue Dr. Rumbak identified. This was surprising given the emotional nature of the day but also because part of Dr. Rumbak's service (advertised on her web site and vouched for in her reviews) is her frequent follow up with the family. Finally after a few months, I emailed her explaining we feel we are owed some kind of refund due to the most critical part of the ceremony, the circumcision, not being performed. It is that expertise for which we paid. Dr. Rumbak issued a $200 refund, saying that the rate for a baby naming is $600. It's unfortunate such a beautiful day was soured by the experience we had. As new parents we feel we were, in a way, taken advantage of. Dr. Rumbak did ultimately give some money back, but we feel we shouldn't have had to ask. Experiences like this are what make people cynical about organized religion. The right thing to do would have been to give us a refund without us having to ask. We would not recommend her.

The support staff is a group of friendly, excellent communicators who my two young children seem to like very much. They do a good job of scheduling, always leaving slots available for emergencies and sick visits. They are very good about answering all of our questions and addressing all of our concerns. I feel lucky for having chosen this group to take care of my children.

Dr. S never makes you feel rushed and is totally understanding of the new parent whoas and concerns. The staff at Pediatric Group of WO is also excellent. They keep the office running smoothly and generally on time. The staff does a great job accommodating same day appointments for sick patients. One of the doctors monitors the after-hours answering machine each night until 10pm. After 10pm, a service handles any calls from patients. The waiting room is large -- though there is no separate "sick patient" area.
