I wish I could give negative stars cause I would. I took my son here this morning once again. We had been there maybe two or three times before that and he was misdiagnosed the times before that and I stupidly brought him back and guess what he was misdiagnosed again. The doctor that checked my son out, said he had scabies. She barely looked at his hand one minute she said that we all need to get treated and then the next minute she was like no you're fine. I was like what the heck how can one minute you say that we need to get treated in the next minute you take it back. I ended up taking him to his regular pediatrician and she acted, looked at him, looked in his mouth and he had hand foot and mouth disease. This is like the third time that they misdiagnosed this and I was supposed to go away tomorrow thank God I went to my regular pediatrician because I could've spread that like wild fire. I WILL NEVER EVER GO BACK TO THIS TERRIBLE PLACE AGAIN! Where do these dr's even get there certification from?! Is that hard to diagnose kids?! read more

We have visited PM Pediatrics in Livingston multiple times for our children and, until now, have consistently found the staff and doctors to be caring, compassionate, and empathetic. Unfortunately, our recent visit with Dr. Fishkind was an awful experience and, without question, the worst interaction I have ever had with a doctor. He was completely dismissive of our concerns and implied that we were overreacting. His behavior toward both my preteen daughter and me was extremely rude and lacking any empathy. Parents do not bring their children to urgent care lightly. We were there because our child was in pain and needed prompt medical attention, yet Dr. Fishkind made us feel as though we were wasting his time. The experience was humiliating and deeply upsetting. After reading other reviews, it is clear there is a consistent pattern of similar behavior from this doctor--dismissiveness and misdiagnosis. It is disappointing and surprising that PM Pediatrics appears to have taken no action to address this issue. PM Pediatrics used to be a reliable and excellent option when our pediatrician was unavailable. After this experience, we will not be returning. read more

Had a great experience here today! The front staff were friendly and responsive from the moment we walked in. Once we were called back, the nurses were incredibly efficient at collecting the basic info for my 15-month-old, which I really appreciated. The doctor came in promptly and was both kind and knowledgeable. He took the time to answer all my questions and really helped ease my concerns. I took my 17 year old daughter in today feeling absolutely horrible (maybe flu) The Dr who saw my daughter made nasty comments about the length of my daughter's nails. She had an attitude immediately making judgement on my child. As we were leaving I heard the female Dr tell the nurse that my daughter nails were disgustingly. What a waste of time! We brought my son here expecting to see a doctor. The Physician's Assistant told us there is no doctor on duty on that day. The website did not state that when we booked the appointment, nor did the receptionist at check in. On the wall, it stated the name of the Doctor who was on duty! The PA told us if we wanted to see a doctor, we could go to a different location. At that point, it was too late. The PA stated she is not comfortable performing the procedure my son needs and we should go to the ER. My sister-in-law is a RN in Canada, and was surprised to hear this as she would perform the procedure herself. Though these pm pediatric cares say they are open till 10pm, they rarely have any services available that late. It is either they have no technician or they can do the x ray but no treatment till next day. If you try to call them before driving up, their phone will not let you speak with anyone. It will "all our services are in the website". And the website boasts about all these services. It is a very frustrating experience especially when are you with a small child. read more

The service at the PM Livingston location has gone way down. Years ago, this location was effective and doctors were amazing. Something must have happened for this to get this bad. We made an appointment, waited and then were told they were running behind and we were asked if we would switch to a visual appt. We agreed. But let's be honest, dr appt via a tablet wasn't exactly a good method because my child was not physically checked out by a doctor. We came back 2 days later. Made an appointment. Took my son out of school early and I moved 2 of my work calls to a later time so we could make the appoint with some wiggle room. We ended up waiting 1 hour 30 minutes after our appointment time before we were seen. I asked the front desk lady who told me a few walk-ins caused delays. What's the point of making an appointment if walk-ins were prioritized before us? I can understand a 30 minutes wait when there's an emergency walk in but over an hour?? My time and my child's time are valuable too!!! Give us some respect! The only positive was that the nurse was nice. Doctor seemed knowledgeable. Reading other reviews it seems that the long wait time is a common theme at this PM location lately. read more

I made a reservation for my son for 7pm. I have to wait an hour and a half because they are behind. A patient next to me waited almost 2 hrs! This is unacceptable and I understand waiting but to wait almost 2 hrs when I made a reservation. I'm very upset and do not recommend this place. This is the 2nd time this has happened. ​ read more

My 8 month old daughter fell and whacked her head and we heard a loud crack. My doctor suggested we come to PM Pediatrics just to make sure everything was okay. We walk into the back and the nurses and doctor were legitimately making fun of me for bringing my daughter in to be checked on. I don't care if it's the smallest scratch you do not make fun of a patient. I would rather be safe than sorry. Shame on you, i feel like they rushed us out because it was close to closing. I haven't had the best experiences here. Mostly due to the wait. I've tried to take my child there a few times but was often discouraged by the staff due to long wait times. I went the other day hoping to get in and the wait was 4 hours. There weren't even that many people waiting. I think they have a staffing issue. I don't see how any of this qualifies as urgent care. I will say when my one son needed stitches the doctor was amazing. Did an amazing job with no wait. Probably because my son was bleeding. So my experience with stitches great my experience with anything else there not so much. read more

I had been to PM Pediatrics with my 4-year-old son once before and had a positive experience. However, getting COVID testing for my son there was fraught with disorganization and rude staff. They advertised that one could avoid a long walk- in wait by doing a telemedicine visit then receiving a scheduled testing appointment. My husband did the visit and was told that he would receive a call that day to schedule the test. Over 24 hours later, we hadn't been contacted and couldn't get hold of anyone on the phone. Fortunately, our pediatrician's office intervened and got someone to call us back to schedule. When we arrived to the 6 pm appointment, my husband was met with a rude woman at the front desk, who cut him off repeatedly when he tried to explain that he had an appointment, and ordered him back to the car. He was told he would be called when they were ready. We then waited over an hour, watching just a few other patients walk in and out, before my husband went back in to follow up. At this point they told us to bring him in. A brusque woman called us back, and when I her asked why we waited so long, I was met with a stony faced silence. She swabbed my son without pleasantries or explanation and dashed out the door without even a notification of how long our results would take or how we would receive them. I am a pediatric subspecialty physician who runs a large hospital practice. I recognize that the pandemic has turned everyone's medical practices upside down, mine included, and that testing facilities are overwhelmed. Patients in my own practice have been very understanding, but we have also been very careful to provide adequate communication, demonstrate compassion, and apologize profusely when we inevitably screw up. There is no excuse for poor communication and cold behavior, especially in pediatrics. I used to frequently recommend this urgent care to my own patients. Never again. read more

After our 16 month old daughter had a run in with a can in our recycling bin and cut her thumb we realized it was going to take more than a band-aid to fix this problem. With it being after 8pm we knew we were going to have to head to the ER for help. Then I remembered PM Pediatrics next to the Farmer's Market on Rt 10. We called first because I wasn't sure if they handled this type of problem. Elise who answered the phone was calm and patient and told us that they could help and to come in. We figured unlike the ER we would get seen quickly because how busy could a pediatric office be on a Monday night? The facility was beautiful and clean. Very welcoming for our extremely upset and overtired little one. The intake was easy and quick and before we could even get a chance to sit the nurse came for us. Everyone was amazing and child (and parent) friendly. They explained what the options were to help keep our daughter the calmest and safe. We went ahead and even though there was a lot of tears she was completely taken care of. We were in and out in no time. Dr Shah, and the nurse, Gezel were wonderful. We got a call a few days later to follow up and see how our daughter was. They also reminded us that she would need her stitches out. We went in on a Saturday afternoon and in less than half hr we were in and out. Again everyone (Dr Patel and the nurses - Chris and another who's name we didn't get) were really sweet! I highly recommend the PM Pediatrics in Livingston! Hopefully we won't need them any time soon but its great to know they are there! read more

Absolutely horrible...wouldn't give it a star but have to so my review can be read and warn others...what's the point of claiming your an after hours urgent care if you need an appointment! I can understand if it's a actual doctor office but again when you claim you're an urgent care after hours and need an appointment you full of it. I've had mixed experiences here. Tonight, I had a terrible one. The receptionist/nurses were so nasty when we came in to try to get a COVID test for my 5 and 8 year old. I get that it's a stressful time- but I tried calling 12x (literally) and no one was answering the phones. Then when I show up in person- I get major attitude when asking how long the wait is. It was like I inconvenienced them by having the audacity to ask the question. So then I request to make an appointment the next day and they said no- "it'll be a long wait no matter what". These used to take appointments, so this isn't an unprecedented ask. Really just terribly rude. I hope corporate retrains these individuals on how to run an office (i.e answer phones and learn how to talk to patients respectfully). Very disappointed. I give 2 stars for great experiences I've had previously with the virtual care. read more

The one star is generous. Brought our 2.5 yr old son to this facility due to 3 present Covid symptoms and exposure at daycare. They had us wait in our car for over 3 hours, to then call us in at closing time to tell us that their system is down and they can't test or even see / listen to my sons breathing. When we confronted the nurse explaining we'd been registered and waiting in the car with a sick toddler for over 3 hours, her response was "well I've been here for 13 hours!!" Get your act and your staff together. Very disappointing to see a pediatric urgent care operate this way. read more

It's basically a privatized emergency room for children, though in the event of a "real" emergency, I'd still recommend an actual hospital. The staff is friendly and polite. Keep in mind that the evaluations and treatment are done by physicians assistants. I have yet to encounter an actual M.D. on premises. Like any ER, there are times that you'll be right in and out, and there are times you can expect to have a substantial wait. Unlike a traditional hospital, their substantial wait time is usually less than that at a hospital. You can also make an online "appointment" which is essentially a call ahead to secure a spot in line. The TVs in the waiting room and treatment rooms playing children's programming is a nice touch to make those wait times more palatable. While I'd certainly recommend finding your own pediatrician rather than using this as a primary care center, it's great to have a location like this with such convenient hours able to address rudimentary emergencies and illnesses. It's a true convenience with a very good professional staff. read more

Went there for a 4:00 appointment. Was asked to wait in the car until they called me. They NEVER called me. So we went in and there were people waiting in the waiting room! Then a tanned tall woman with black hair started the intake process. I handed her my daughter's insurance card, which has all the information she could need on it. She said, "Whose name is the insurance in?" I said "Mine," She said, "Do you want me to guess your name?" Then she asked for my driver's license and a credit card, which both HAVE MY NAME ON THEM. She was insufferable. No apology for not calling us. It was now 4:45 and the doctor took forever to visit the exam room, then didn't even examine my daughter at all!!! She made small talk and left! This place is a joke. Go to a real doctor!!! read more

Big mistake to make a covid test "appointment" here. My daughter was potentially exposed at school and we made an appointment online to have her tested on day 5 post exposure. We are currently one hour past our appointment time and still haven't been seen. When I asked the front desk staff for an ETA I was told to "sit tight," which is what I've been doing for the past hour since my daughter's appointment was scheduled for an hour ago! I understand that doctors offices get backed up but an hour plus wait when we supposedly had an appointment is unacceptable. To make matters worse, they called us out of my car at least 30 minutes ago so now we are waiting inside with other people. There are plenty of other places where you can get covid tests- don't waste your time coming here! read more

Doctors and nurses are alway great, but office management and staff needs A LOT of work. We went in for my 1 year old who had a fever for almost 48 hrs. No one else in my house is sick including my two other children and mom so covid was not even a thought. (It ended up being an ear infection). Anyhow my husband went in and asked for an ETA bc my 1 year old was cranky with a fever in the car and the office manger told him you have 4 people ahead of you so stay close. (We could have gone home if the wait was long bc we lived 6 mins away). Anyhow, 1 1/2 hour later, we were still waiting. My husband goes in and tells them again. The second lady said it's still not your turn but to come in and start checking her in before we bought my daughter inside the facility (bc she probably realized 1.5 hrs is a long time to wait with a 1 yr old who has a fever in the car). We originally registered at 3:59 pm and didn't see the doctor until 6 pm. The office manager comes to me in the room bc she heard me complain in the front and said whoever checked in put covid. I said no one put covid! Covid was not even a discussion or thought in our head bc we have 6 family members all older then my 1 year old and no one is sick. She's had fever for 48 hrs so I knew it was an infection of some sort. There was no thought of covid at all and it was not put as the reason when registering. In addition, I found out later after talking to my husband, that it was her that said that there were only 4 people ahead of us bc we were not there for testing. So yes the same person (/office manager) came in to the room when I was in there with my child and said to me "I probably told your husband. I am sorry but it said covid." But again, she acknowledged it was not covid the first time when she told him there were only 4 people ahead of us 2 hrs ago. She specially said that the waitlist was long bc the majority of the people were there for testing. I know she just got the covid waitlist answer from the front desk lady who spoke to my husband the second time and told him to come in bc I spoke to her again later. She said something to the fact that bc he didn't put any symptoms when registering he was assigned covid . They asked a reason for checking in and he put fever! He put nothing about covid. If it's not a digital program error, Covid had to have been put in manually by one of their members or maybe they just skipped us. Sick children are priority over covid testing btw. Anyhow 3 hours wasted on a Friday that shouldn't have been no more then 1 hour tops bc of front desk/ office management. I suggest you always Double check your wait in line and make sure the reason is always clear verbally bc apparently system can change reason on you or one of their staff members can, otherwise you will be waiting in the car with your cranky feverish 1 year old for two hours bc they have your child assigned for a covid test instead of a fever. Just Crazy and frustrating. Btw... we went to CVS directly after to pick up my daughters meds, and they said there was no prescription in but it takes time. If our experience was good at PM pediatrics I would have just waited the 20 mins for the system to catch up... but in this case I didn't. I didn't want to wait for 20 mins and find out it was never entered wasting more time. Because I lost trust in the system/process we drove back to PM pediatric to make sure they submitted it (since they didn't pick up the phone all day long when I tried to call.) Anyhow not a great experience at all. I will give credit where it is due. The doctors and nurses are always so pleasant and I feel confident in their care for my children. read more

I understand we are all trying to do our best during COVID-19, but six months after this pandemic started and went to get tested, I tried to make an appointment and no luck answering the phones. Then I walked-in, registered and waited for more than 3 hours in my car and got no luck. So how many days I have to wait to get my chance to get tested? Not so easy and quick to walk in and get a COVID swab even after having done the 10 second virtual doctor appointment Worse, the woman doing the swab was very aggressive shoving the swab up much higher than needed and aggressively swabbing. I pulled back a couple of times and she went right back forcefully with the swab. I have had many swabs over the past year and nothing comes close to this. I'll second what everyone else has said. We've been twice with our toddler, Friday night and Sunday night. Both times we were in and out quickly, and got thorough and courteous medical care. The best things about this place: 1. Online check in. You can see how long the wait is and make an appointment online. They will text you if there's a delay so you can come in later. 2. Very short wait times, no more than a few minutes. 3. Nice waiting area. Very clean and bright. No toys, but they have a TV with cartoons, and most like your sick kid won't be playing with toys anyway (nor would you want them to play with germy office toys). 4. Amazing staff. The medical assistants, nurses, and PA's have all been great. We've never seen a doctor yet, but the PA's are very qualified and diagnosed problems in an expert manner. Special shout out to PA Ahuva who was very sweet with our daughter and answered all of our questions. I am curious why they always take weight in kg and then convert to lbs, but I'll just assume they bought some fancy European scale. Unlike a restaurant, I don't plan to come back, but it's great to know this place is here when we need it. read more

My family brought a child here for a covid test. An appointment was made on the phone. When we arrived we were quickly ignored. After waiting and waiting and not being cared for, we were told that appts don't mean what they mean in normal parlance. We were told that the wait could be much longer and we should go somewhere else. We did. Why did they make the appt? We would want a terribly sick kid taken care of immediately, but no such child showed up while we were waiting and waiting. Why did they make an appt for our child's covid test if they were going to keep us waiting for more than an hour. If they don't understand the simple word appt can we trust them with a serious health issue? We won't. read more

Terrible terrible service. I had came into this facility as a walk in for both my children. To start off you have to register from your mobile phone upon arrival. Once registered we had waited... waited over an hours and a half. Not to mention that the receptionist had completely disappeared for about 20 minutes.I am as left their in the waiting room waiting to ask how long was my wait or to ask how my people were ahead of my but I couldn't ask because no one was at the front desk. I had to walk into the facilities back nurses station and ask for if their was someone to assist me at the front deal. Then one of the nurses went on to ask me my childrens names to then tell me that their was one patient ahead of me. I then I decided to leave and seek care else were. Moments after I had left I received a call from PM asking if I was still in their waiting. I went on to speak to thee supervisor. Nicole went on to tell me that their was an emergency that required the assistance of the receptionist. At that moment I went on to tell her that their service of care was very disappointing. I went on to explain how they can have someone wait for so long and they did not have a full waiting room. She went on to tell me that they only have one doctor on staff. I have ran an urgent care with one physician on staff and I have never had my patients wait as long as they had my children wait. I also went on and explained how easy it was for someone with bad intentions to run up into their facility. They have no one at their front desk for long periods of time and also they do not have secured doors that lead to their nurses station in the back of the facility were they are all their patients. I will be contacting PM pediatrics corporate offices tomorrow morning. Between the long waits and lack of attending care and also safety protocols this facility is and may cause danger to patients. read more

I cannot say enough good things about this place! I have 4 children so you can imagine the amount illnesses and injuries we see!! PMPediatrics is always fabulous! We've had X-rays done and strep tests and everything else under the sun! The longest I've ever waited was 15 minutes and that was at 7pm at night with 4 people in front of me. The doctors and nurses are caring and knowledgeable and listen to what I have to say as a parent!! read more

I Brought my 13 yr old daughter here after hours at the recommendation of her pediatrician in place of an ER visit. I was so pleased with the whole experience from the moment I entered the facility. Friendly, compassionate and highly competent staff and health care professionals. The whole operation is seamless and efficient and here is the best part: totally focused on assessing, diagnosing and treating my daughter's illness in the least invasive way possible. Everyone there was focused on her comfort and actually gave her input into treatment options. The pediatrician was so thorough as she explained the medical problem extremely well with thoughtfulness and compassion. She was one of the friendliest and positive pediatricians I have met. I am still in shock that places like this exist as a much-needed supplement to my daughters medical needs. read more
