First off this spot is beautiful for a barbecue place, nice interior, plenty of seating, parking is a bit tight but that's ok. The barbecue here is worth every penny and reasonably priced. You can tell hard work and love is put into this food because my god it is so delicious. Brisket is post oak smoked and the flavor comes through beautifully. The rice and beans are as if your lovely mother from San Antonio made them herself, full of flavor and seasoned well. The pickled red onions give it a nice accompaniment and the tortillas are perfectly done. Jess, the employee in front was so nice and helpful, food came out quick and hot. New favorite barbecue spot I will be back now that I know where good barbecue is served!

Decent bbq spot. It's in a good location with good curb appeal, however with the pizza spot on the back, the parking lot fills up fast. We went at 5:30/6pm on a Friday night, and there were only two other families eating inside. Very quiet, and nice patio we had to ourselves. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Prices are average, but the bbq isn't anything to rave about. It was VERY peppery, so personally not my thing. I'd say the ribs are a 7/10, pork was really wet and fatty I'd give that a 3/10, and brisket was tender and fell apart so that was an 8/10. The mustard potato salad was the best side, same with the beans. The slaw was soaking wet too! It's vinegar based so I kind of understand but it was legit just slaw mix and vinegar. The whole experience was underwhelming and nothing was really in your face amazing. If you want to scratch your bbq itch, this might suffice though.

04 Jan 2026 We saw this place on Saturday as we were tooling down N. Main to Main St. Pizza. So we decided to try it today. It's a lot larger than we first thought. It had been described as a patio place, so we thought it was only outside seating. Wrong. There is tons of indoor seating as well. Booths, tables and high stool seating. The place is very clean. The staff picks up after you leave. It's down pretty quick. We weren't sure about parking, so we parked on the street. I did ask a staff person later and she said you can park in the lot behind them. It's shared with the pizza place that's located behind them. You order at the counter and then it's brought to you. We had the turkey breast plate with rice, beans and tortillas. Also a brisket plate with potato salad and Cole slaw with potato bread. While the brisket was very tender, the husband felt it had too much fat. He wasn't happy with the potato salad and slaw. 'the slaw is too much like Bill Millers' and he's not a fan of mustard. I was very happy with my turkey and sides. The turkey is peppered. The charro beans and rice have great flavor. The flour tortillas were a bit different. Very thin, yet when cooled, were still reasonably soft. You can get soft drink refills. No condiment counter for onions and pickles. Each plate has a few slivers of pickled onion and a few slices of pickles.

I was running errands and hadn't eaten all day, so I found this spot only 5 minutes from where I was and had to try their barbecue. I believe they had another location previously, but I had not gone to that location either. I got the barbecue plate which comes with a 1/2lb meat, two choices of sides, and either tortillas or potato bread. I dined in, and they also gave a little side of bbq sauce and pickled onions & pickles. The brisket was good but not amazing, but I think it's partly due to the slower turnover rate on a Monday afternoon. I'll have to come back on the weekend to try their barbecue again. Four stars for now for the quality of the meat. I liked that there was indoor and outdoor seating--the weather was so nice, and I was able to enjoy my meal in the fresh air. Service was also very friendly and quick.

I really wanted to love this place. It is always great when someone takes a long-neglected building in a historic neighborhood and creates something of value. The place is nicely designed: they have both indoor and outdoor seating, with large TVs that were showing sports. I have zero complaints about the service: people were very nice and we received our food quickly. Sadly, the food was not good. The brisket was dry and over salted , the tortilla on the taco was rubbery but also crunchy (how does that happen?), and the potato salad was undercooked--the potatoes were hard as rocks. We were there for lunch. The price was ok ($15). They should offer daily lunch specials.

I discovered this place on TikTok and I'm sure glad I did. Food was delivered quickly and it was amazing! The staff is super friendly and takes care of you when you need something. My team said I made a great choice and they want to go back soon.

Brisket was really good, the seasoning! Pork ribs were okay, I personally don't like a sweet glaze. The pulled pork nachos were super tasty and perfect amount! The pico helped make it a bit fresh. The service was friendly and the patio seating was relaxing.

Moved near the area and finally got to stop by! Beautiful building with an amazing ambiance! Restrooms are also beautiful and well maintained with amenities such as female hygiene products to floss! Never seen this before at various joints! The menu is short and sweet, with affordable pricing when it comes to the barbecue world! The top highlights for me were the pork ribs and the jalapeño sausage! One note that really made the visit worth it was when ordering, I requested fatty slices for my plate. When receiving our order, we were given slices of lean to which I asked if it was possible to switch it out. The GM returned this time with two slices of fatty and explained that they made the mistake of allowing to preference what slices you would like, but made it right, which shows the integrity and consistency to provide the great customer service aspect well needed in the bbq world! Beyond amazed with this approach to barbecue, will be back soon!

Hands down the tastiest and most unique flavors. Turkey, ribs, brisket and both sausages were devine and smoked perfect. Tried all the sides and wow!!

This BBQ spot is such a gem. The service is warm, friendly, and genuinely down-to-earth, you feel taken care of the moment you walk in. The food is amazing, full of flavor and clearly made with care. The location itself is adorable, with both indoor and outdoor seating, and it makes for a really cute spot for a date. The surrounding neighborhood is aesthetically pleasing and adds to the overall vibe, plus there's convenient parking available. Highly recommend!

For my main I had the scallops with creamed corn risotto. It was a dainty portion but the flavors were nice. My husband had the short rib tagliatelle which he loved. It was very rich and filling. We had the buttermilk pie again for dessert and this time it tasted sweeter than I remembered. It was good but we couldn't finish it. Idk if it was my tastebuds or if it was different. Checked Yelp for dinner suggestions so Doc drove us to the paid lot next to where all the Cinderella lit up carriages drawn by horses were lined up. It seemed the boats going up and down the River portion of the Walk were busier. While we were walking I had my eyes open for a table with a view. We stopped at Four Brothers. The receptionist went over suggestions on the menu on her outdoor podium. Cornbread in the shape of Texas, shareable items like Dino ribs for $82, plus Pork Shank and ice tea completed our order. Everyone was very friendly. We had an exceptional view and we had more than enough food that we had to ask for take out boxes. My favorite was the Mac & cheese though I'm usually not a fan. This dish used cork screw shaped pasta and it was moist and not stuck together. I had to share a photo of it with Sweetie who is in Tokyo right now. Doc liked the pimento for the cornbread. As it was almost 9 pm we decided to pass on the boat ride but just walk on the other side with shops and more eateries. We're back on the road again tomorrow to Arizona.

Over-hyped, over-priced, unfriendly staff, watery drinks and terrible guacamole…read more My wife and I had a very bad experience while dining in this restaurant during the Fiesta San Antonio. Boudros was highly recommended by friends, and was the first restaurant on our list to dine in during our recent visit. We arrived at the restaurant on a Thursday around 7:45 pm and were told by a young Hostess that no walk-ins were allowed until after 9 pm. We decided to modify our itinerary and instead had dinner at a different restaurant on the riverwalk, and made a reservation for Boudros online for the following evening. When we arrived the following evening for our reservation at 7.30 pm, we were escorted to a small table in the bar that was next to the entrance to a small room. The area was noisy with a lot of foot traffic. We asked for a table in a quieter room and were moved to a room in the back of the restaurant where it was easier to have a conversation. A few minutes later our waiter, Stephen, approached the table. We asked him for drink recommendations and among others he recommended the "Prickly Pear Margarita". I ordered the Prickly Pear Margarita, and we also ordered the tableside Guacamole. The restaurant was busy, but there were several empty tables in our dining area. After about 15 to 20 minutes, the waiter brought our drinks. The Prickly Pear Margarita I received was not even close to the description on the menu. The ice was melted and it tasted like Fruit Punch with alcohol in a martini glass. A few minutes later, Stephen approached our table with the Guacamole cart. There were pieces of onions and cilantro all over the dirty table cloth on the cart. He prepared the Guacamole in front of us and it looked very unappealing. We watched as he added an excessive amount of diced onions and cilantro. Being a connoisseur of Guacamole, and making my own for most of my life, it was obvious that Stephen had not been trained well in how to make Guacamole. After he mixed the sliced avocados, the diced onions and cilantro, he wiped the edge of the stone tray with a dirty cloth. The onions and cilantro over powered the taste of the avocado. Later that evening, Stephen brought a very fancy drink for a customer sitting next to us. The drink looked like frozen lime juice with line of frozen strawberry and a nice scoop of frozen lime juice on top. I asked Stephen for the name of that drink, and he replied that it was the same drink that I had ordered. I asked why it looked so different and he muttered something about it being the end of the batch and then said "I'm not the Bartender". He blamed the Bartender for making the terrible drink, and made no effort to correct the problem. Later Stephen returned with our dinner, and as he approached our table, he ordered my wife to "move your glass!" Needless to say she was quite taken aback at his abrupt manner with no please or thank-you. In all the staff did not have a very good demeanor and were very sullen and grumpy. Even asking for directions to the bathroom barely elicited a glance and the needed information. Maybe the staff was overworked because of the number of visitors for the Fiesta, but the terrible, over-priced food, did not make up for the unhappy staff, and we do not plan to return.
