Honestly, it's an okay place in my opinion. It wasn't bad, but I wasn't really wow'ed to where I wanted to finish my meal. Tried their Reuben sandwich, and their clam chowder. Pros: Sandwich served warm, and loved the bread being warm and toasty. Definitely did not skimp on the filling. The sandwich size is hearty regardless if you get a 4,6,8". The chowder is served piping hot with a side of warm, crusty sourdough bread. Cons: Not enough seasoning and lacking of flavor in both the sandwich and the soup. Strangely for me it was bland. It could've used more salt in the meat and definitely in the soup. The sourdough wasn't sour at all. It was just bread, and kinda disappointing when sourdough is advertised and it turns out to be dense white bread. The staff is friendly, and the place is kept clean. Overall it was an okay experience. Might give this place a round 2 try and try something else and we'll see about updating this review. read more

I really want to like this place as the food is decent but the hygiene is quite questionable. I've seen multiple times now where the sandwich maker touches the register and customer's credit cards without taking off their gloves, then goes right back to making sandwiches with the same gloves. I've also witnessed workers grab their laptops and mobiles with the same gloves, then grab deli meats and make sandwiches. So they just use the same gloves the whole time and touch everything in the store without taken them off while making our sandwiches? I was hoping it would just be off a few times due to lack of training. However, I've seen this too many times at this store where it's quite disappointing as we do like their sandwiches. read more

It was my first time getting food at this location and I will definitely come back!! Firstly, the staff is friendly and I was greeted with smiles. Secondly, the whole place is clean, which includes the bathroom! Lastly, the sandwich and clam chowder are delicious. I got the French Dip and added avocado and provolone cheese. You can taste the fresh ingredients with each bite of the sandwich and the clam chowder was super tasty. I love that service was so quick and that it wasn't too crowded. I was working in Pacifica last week and noticed that a Sourdough & Co just opened up. I am from San Francisco and only love my sandwiches on SF Boudin bread. I decided to try a wrap (love the bread, don't love the calories). I ordered a veggie wrap and absolutely loved it! The veggies were fresh and the wrap was not thick and bready, rather light and fresh. It was also very filling without feeling heavy. This is my new " go to". I had tried their Sacramento store to great satisfaction so was excited to see them open a location in Pacifica! I went to the shop around 1130 and there was only 1 other person waiting. The staff were bustling behind the counter and attended to me right away. They seemed very concerned about making sure they got my order correct when repeating it back which I appreciated. I They offer the 4", 6" and 8" sizes. I was more into sampling the quality, so went for the 4" turkey, w/ provolone, lettuce, tomato, onion, house sauce, mustard on the sourdough roll. They give you lots of options on how to customize your sandwich which I appreciate, and it was ready in 10 minutes (so got some Safeway shopping done in the meantime). The bread had that nice flaky/softly crunchy sourdough crust and good flavor, the turkey was a little underwhelming but I think that's due to the overpowering of the yellow mustard and house sauce combo. I love that they use the shredded lettuce. For beverages, they offer fountain drinks, canned soda and bottled water and a nice selection of chips. The store was clean and had a few tables and chairs but is pretty narrow compared to the larger location I had visited which was restaurant sized. I highly recommend visiting. I wanted to give this place a second chance because I would go to the area for lunch often to break up my work from home day a little. The first time I went I was surprised at how long it took to order since they only have 4 tables inside and most orders seem to be take out. I thought perhaps it's just getting the new place rhythm and team going and working well together. My food was adequate, nothing to rave about. Salad and soup. Seemed commercial, not fresh made. For the amount of time it took to get my order, I thought they were making it fresh. It was disappointing. A few weeks later I decided to try them again for a salad,and sandwich. The sandwich was okay, the salad had rotten lettuce which put me off the whole meal. I threw it away and won't return.
