Cobb salad
Leonard G.

Cobb salad large and very good! The pastrami Rueben very good but on small side! Chicken plableno soup good! All same sourdough bread! They didn't have tuna or corn beef for sandwiches! But what they did have very good! They had strawberry guava drink which was great!

Tuna sandwich, expectation vs reality

Our sandwiches were expensive, mostly lettuce, and missing several ingredients, some of which I paid extra for. I wish there was at least a way to take back the tip. I get that menu photos are going to look better than the final product but what we actually got served was SAD next to what we picked on the order screen.

First time at Sourdough & Co. was at this Pacifica locale on the afternoon of Saturday, August 30, 2025. Located in the Linda Mar Shopping Center, we easily found parking in the lot, just steps away from the front door. We arrived around 1:15 PM to a fairly busy store. The relaxed sandwich shoppe, with hardwood flooring, was naturally well-lit through the big front windows. The venue was also well kept on this day. This Sourdough & Co. location offers sourdough bread sandwiches, gluten-free wraps, soups and salads. You can get flatbreads, cookies, chips and drinks from here, too. Similar to Subway Sandwiches and Togo's, there is no table service here - you place your order and pick up from the counter. Easy peasy. I did notice their sign at the register, informing customers that they impose a 3% surcharge on all credit card transactions. No likey. I didn't know that regional chains could be so cheap. Mom and I just wanted something small to share, so we ordered a turkey & avocado wrap. Mom did not like it at all, but I thought that it was ok. It wasn't horrible, but definitely far from the best. They could have stuffed the wrap more, too - what we received looked like an anorexic burrito. Would I return? Let's just say that Sourdough & Co. would not be the first place to come to mind to grab a bite, not even if I had a craving for a sandwich. I wouldn't kick and scream to fight against going here, either.

Artichoke and chicken flatbread pizza

My favorite place to go for lunch!! I enjoyed their South West Chicken Salad but today I was in the mood for pizza and saw that they have flatbread pizzas! Light and easy for lunch I ordered the Artichoke and Chicken flatbread. It comes with white sauce but it they unfortunately ran out of the white sauce so the cashier suggested to sub the sauce for ranch. Oh. My. Goodness !!!!!! It was soooooo delicious. The olives gave the pizza a nice balance with the ranch and chicken. The bread itself was so crispy and just all over delicious!! And who doesn't like a little crispy cheese on top! Recommend 9/10 (only because I can't compare the ranch sub to the original sauce ) I will be adding this to my rotation for next time when I'm in the mood for here.

The service was great, the Ambiance was chill, and the food it great would recommend, would go again

I thought I ordered it with pickles?
Corina B.

I asked for the pickles and I didn't receive them. I also asked for avocado and the cashier didn't add it on. But the clam chowder bowl was good.

Chicken cholula

First time trying sourdough & co. I love sandwiches with great sourdough bread and this sandwich definitely lived up to the hype. I ordered the "chicken cholulua", and after taking one bite, I'll never eat another sandwich again. The bread to filling ratio is perfect and it makes my mouth water every single time. highly recommend. the employees are very welcoming and i honestly only have good things to say about this place. try out the chicken cholula! you won't regret it

Smoked brisket sandwhich on a wrap

This place just keeps getting better and better. The food was gone so fast that I couldn't even take a picture in time. Great service and vibe! Everyone is always extremely attentive and friendly

A year later and I'm still satisfied with my local deli. Today I went outside my usual and got the Crunchy Chicken Sandwich. Omgggg, so good i loved the crispy onions and I can always count on fresh lettuce and tomatoes. Service is always friendly, never a problem. I grab my order to go but if you want to dine in there's room to do that. Thank you for reading my notes and following through. Please don't ever go.

I've been to a previous location near my work in SJ and was very happy with the quality and taste of their sandwiches. Didn't realize there was a one closer to me in Pacifica. Got it to go so can't comment on an in the shop experience but, good sourdough bread with nice chew. Pastrami is pretty good too and they provide you with a pretty good serving. My go-to is usually the brisket, so next time I'll try that here as well.

Great location and service! Management was friendly. we ordered different sandwiches (french dip, turkey salami) and soups (chili and clam chowder) and everything was freshly prepared especially the bread! the interior was bright and tables are kept clean. Will be back!

Smoked Brisket Sandwich

Being a sandwich lover, I saw Sourdough & Co opening up and knew eventually I'd be back to try it out. That time came a couple weeks ago, and I gotta say, for the area, it's got a lot of potential! Being my first time, I decided to go with the smoked brisket sandwich. I was getting ready for a long day out on the road, so I decided to eat it there which was the best way to go. This was a messy sandwich in a good way, lots of sauce, good flavor, and actually pretty filling! It comes with a pickle and it's something that I'd order again. It got really soggy real quick, so be prepared with napkins and eat it quick. If you let it sit for awhile, the bread wouldn't hold up...now that I'm on the subject of bread, this is where I think the biggest room for improvement is. Having 'Sourdough' in the name, I had high expectations for the bread, and when I ripped the bread apart, it was still a little doughy. I definitely think it could've been baked a little bit longer, and/or the bread being more toasted. Bread can make/break a sandwich, and I think once they figure out the bread, this will be a solid choice for sandwiches in Pacifica.

It's AYCE and located near the beach by a little shopping area in Pacifica. Beautiful area. The hosts greeted us with their great smile and sat us down right away. We chose the BBQ pot (half bbq to grill your meats and soup like shabu). I had the coconut pork bone soup and my hubby had the mushroom soup. Both were very tasty and the spice was spot on. They had a variety of meat choices and yes prime beef ribeye! You can either grill it or drop it on your soup. You can also create your condiments to dip your grilled meats. The rib eye, beef belly, pork belly were my favorites. You can tell the meats were of high quality and were fresh. You only need to grill the rib eye medium rare and wow it's amazingly delicious!!! Also they have a wide variety of appetizer, vegetable, seafood, tofu, I can go on! The Kalbi ribs as one of the appetizer was one of the best Kalbi I ever had. The marinate was sooo yummy and the meat was tender! The service was also amazing! They checked on us constantly and our orders came so quickly, it was unbelievable. Yes we were stuffed and happy! The green tea ice cream at the end cleansed our palette and it was a great dessert to end the meal. Afterwards we walked a few steps and the view of the beach was mesmerizing! This place is one of the best grilled and shabu place I have ever been. Wish we had one like this in SF, but the scenic drive to Pacifica is worth coming here. Mark this restaurant in your bucket list as a must try. You will not regret it!

Our reservation was at 7pm and the restaurant started to fill up. It's not that big inside, but they also have a few tables outside. Each person had their own burner, but since I was sitting at the end, I had to share it with my mom. Not a big deal since I always like the broth that she ordered. All of us ordered half hot pot/skillet, so we can enjoy both types of cooking. I liked that one person was in charge of ordering for their group to minimize confusion and multiple orders. The food came out quickly for us to cook. I really enjoyed the New Zealand Lamb and all the vegetables. I wasn't a big fan of the sauces that we were able to customize at the sauce station since they were just normal Asian sauces. Overall a great place to come for AYCE. The price was also reasonable - $41.99 per person for 90 minutes. There is free parking available since it's located in a plaza. Our family had a great time which is all that matters.

We've been ordering from Daniel and his incredible team for years, and they have never disappointed us. No matter what we order, the food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and made with care. Our family favorites are the Mongolian Beef, any of their fried rice (especially the vegetable fried rice), Mu Shu Chicken or Pork, Honey Walnut Shrimp, and just about anything from their Salt and Pepper menu. Their vegetable dishes are also outstanding--fresh, perfectly cooked, and packed with flavor. We usually order takeout or delivery since parking can sometimes be a little limited, but that's never stopped us from coming back. Every order arrives hot, well-packaged, and just as delicious as if we were enjoying it in the restaurant. What truly sets Soul Rice apart is Daniel and his team. They're always friendly, welcoming, and genuinely appreciative of their customers. You can tell they take pride in both their food and the relationships they've built within the Pacifica community. That kind of hospitality is becoming harder to find, and it's one of the many reasons our family continues to support them. If you're looking for outstanding Chinese and food in Pacifica, I wholeheartedly recommend Soul Rice. Great food, wonderful people, and a local business that deserves every bit of support. We walked around looking. Another party came in after us, a party of 7 and they were even louder than us. Anyways, everyone just started making themselves at home. Took a table, got our own menus, etc. Quality/Quantity - Today we got the following: Boneless Hainanese Half Chicken - When I ordered this, I did not know it was boneless. When it arrived, I said to myself another skinny chicken, and then realized it was boneless. So for a boneless half chicken, it had a very reasonable amount of meat. I am not sure if I have EVER had an entire half chicken deboned for me?!?! I really appreciated it. And the accompanying ginger was so good; we asked for more. A little too salty for my guests, but I like salt. Clams with Black Bean Sauce - Good flavors. Decent portions, considering that it is a seafood dish. One clam still had some sand in it, but the rest was good. Chicken Chow Fun - Not on the menu, but they gladly substituted the beef for chicken for us. The chicken was very tender. Decent portions. I actually thought it had generous portions, until we finished it all. And we are light eaters. But the food here must be that good, because both my guests finished it all with NO leftovers. Atmosphere - Small local restaurant, with cool decor and even better messages! See all my pictures. Private room available. Two unisex restrooms. Both of which have positive messages; again, see pictures. Open 7 days a week from 10:30am to 9pm; closed Tuesdays. Plenty of mall parking, but it was FULL due to a busy Sunday lunch rush in the mall. Service - Good, friendly, and welcoming. Well after she finished working in the back... No water, just pure concentrated flavor. The restaurant gets its name from simmering, one of the essential Chinese cooking techniques, and you can taste that philosophy across the whole menu. The Dry Pot lived up to the hype, but the real surprise was the skewers. Beef, lamb, and chicken, intensely flavorful and rich. I can't stop thinking about them. The potstickers were also way better than expected. Usually a throwaway order at most places, but here they were juicy and packed with flavor. The beef pancakes were fantastic. Golden and crispy on the outside, juicy flavor bomb on thes inside. Both crunchy and a little chewy (in the good way). Came back a few weeks later with friends and ordered the whole grilled fish, which I'd been eyeing since my first visit. It looked magnificent, but it didn't really pop the way the other dishes did. If you love fish it's worth trying, but the dry pot, skewers, beef pancakes, and dumplings are the stars here. We also got a few veggie dishes which were all great accompaniments...but nobody is here for the veggies. A few practical notes. They have a beer tap but it doesn't work, so if you're into beer, they've got a few options by the bottle. Parking is easy since it's in the Serramonte Center, and you can combine it with a trip to Jagalchi, Target, or whatever else you need. Both times I came there was plenty of seating. Parking is easy enough and if you go for lunch it's a nice neighborhood for a walk afterward. You're just a few blocks from the seawall. Where this place can improve is by giving us a more "home cooked" touch. It's the difference between good cafeteria food and my friend's Italian Nonna making us dinner. Give us that home-cooked Italian comfort. I would have given 3 stars, but that 4th star is because the prices are a good value, and that is important nowadays. However, I would be willing to pay more for higher quality dishes. Give it a try. On my next visit, I will try the chicken piccata.
