We loved enjoying the different art pieces and way they did the bar. The service was outstanding. Such a friendly waiter who had great recommendations and really took his time with us. The mint lemonade was super delicious!! We shared the dumpling app which was flavorful and interesting and the hummus was of course amazing with the fresh pita. My filet mignon kabob was so succulent and tender. 5/5 stars Of course we had to get desserts. The chai was outstanding. I was surprised that the mango cheesecake was so delicious! It does get busy here with big families but can't wait to come back. Exquisite.

Dinner at 3 West was a total disappointment from the service to the food. The waitress couldn't…read morehave been nicer but she was so busy she couldn't really give us any attention. She actually felt so bad by the level of service she was providing that she comped our dessert. The food took a long time to arrive. Our plates weren't cleared between courses. Our water glasses were never refilled. No one ever asked if our food was O.K. The first wine we chose was "unavailable."We were never given a dessert menu- we had to ask for one. We had to endure this ordeal for two hours- it took close to 20 minutes just to get the check. All this could be overlooked if the food was good but it was not. Cauliflower appetizer was undercooked and overly spiced. Chicken parm meatballs were dry. Halibut smelled very fishy which is usually not a good sign - which proved to be true. Short ribs were fatty, chewy and one dimensional and sat on a bed of vegetables that consisted of potatoes, corn, tomatoes and other unidentifiable vegetables all in an unappetizing color brown. (Those were left untouched). Some gravy or wine reduction might have helped but it was all served dry. The best dish was a side of mashed potatoes which were buttery, creamy and well-seasoned- they would have made a great bed for the short ribs to sit on instead of those sad vegetables. The Funfetti donut sundae was good. The most positive comment I can make is that they didn't rush us out! To pay as much as we did for food and service that was mediocre at best was disappointing- we will not be going back.

I always appreciate how the staff at Panera do not bother you if you spend several hours there or even close out the restaurant. Panera's menu has changed so often, and I find myself searching for my favorite food items that are no longer there (bring back the horseradish sauce, justice for the French onion soup, etc.). I have been to my share of Panera locations, and I believe this one is my favorite. It's warm inside and even has a fireplace near the entrance. The staff are all pleasant and extremely helpful. The dining area was very clean and appeared to be well-managed. Since I was there for several hours, I noticed how the staff kept up with the cleaning. I also noticed how polished and clean the silverware was compared to the Raritan location, for example. I have routinely opted out of using the silverware and instead will grab the plasticware due to my lack of confidence at the other locations, but again, this location provided clean utensils. It's always a gamble when eating out, particularly in a fast-casual chain environment. I ordered the creamy tomato soup, smokehouse bbq sandwich with customizations, and a bottled orange juice. Everything tasted as expected, good -no complaints. And again, I really appreciate Basking Ridge for not skimping out on the heat to ensure their customers feel warm and comfortable while dining in. It makes me upset to know that I could've been going to this location all along. Lastly, Panera, it is always frustrating to see your favorite food items removed from the menu or remixed without notice. This location has nothing to do with the decisions made by Panera's culinary innovation team but thought it was worth noting. I would definitely recommend trying out this location if you haven't done so already. Will take pictures next visit.
