Parking is a bit smaller there and tough to get it next to the restaurant... General tsos tofu was very good . We ordered a regular size lunch and it was sumptuous .. can easily fill up 2 people . Lots of rice and curry . Kung Pao chicken was ultimate ... very nicely made and spicy too. . Went well with white rice . I thought it was a little bit expensive though. Costed about 40$ for both . If not for the price , it's just a superbbbb place for Chinese food . There are tables inside to sit and eat... good experience overall... quick service and average ambience .. read more

Don't make the same mistake I made. There is a Hop Hing in Cranford that is EXCELLENT. This is gross. I ordered diced chicken with cashew nuts- assume it would be sautéed. It was deep fried. No vegetables. Would not order from here again. read more

This used to be our go-to Chinese takeout. I said used to be because I think we are done. The last several times we have ordered there have been awful. The egg rolls were so greasy there was a puddle of oil in the bag. The fried rice was tasteless, and the wontons in the soup were mush. The ribs were pretty good though. Overall, the quality has been slipping for some time. My hope is they take some of these negativity be reviews to heart and make some much needed improvements read more

The food is awesome omg I've been there several times already, Tried some bbq dishes, egg roll ,lo mein, their fried rice, dumplings and miso soup, I keep coming for their House Lo Mein because it's the best I've ever had! Ordered take out last night for the first time in a while. Service was prompt and friendly. Food was plentiful and good. Nothing super flavorful, but that's Chinese, in my opinion anyway. Mmmmm I love this Chinese restaurant and I will tell you why this place is so different from any other Chinese food restaurant /take out place in the area. Well they serve Japanese, Thai, Chinese and a few Vietnamese dishes so if you are craving for Asian food here is the place all of them in one spot. Funny think about me is that I love Chinese take out food but for for the most times I used to get stomachache, bloated or even sick I blame it on the oil and maybe the grade of soy sauce. At this restaurant the food is so fresh and not heavy at all. They really keep the real ingredients I pretty much have tried everything and never got sick. I tried all the other Chinese restaurants in the area and this place is awesome. I love their house special fried rice it is 9.97 but omg it is so worthy. It got everything seafood, pork, chicken , vegetables and such a delicious flavor this is a must. Their pad Thai is delicious and the red curry chicken is amazing. This was the worst food we have ever gotten from this restaurant. Our order was wrong. The chow fun was the wrong noodles, and had no sauce. The dumplings were flat and cold. We tried the "juicy pork buns"...we have had better ones frozen from Costco. The Chicken and Broccoli was greasy and the Lo Mein tasted and looked stale and left over. We had take-out from here last night and all four of us agreed it was the worst we ever had. The green curry was an unnatural green color, sort of like the color of a neon green tennis ball. How did they get it that color??!! It tasted worse than it looked. The egg rolls were so soaked with oil that the wrapper was translucent. Beef in the beef with broccoli was the texture of rubber bands and was floating in a sea of oil. Scallion pancakes also soaked in oil. Crispy noodles were stale and not crispy. Orange chicken had an odd taste- not orange at all but cloves maybe? It was hard as a rock. We spent $90 on the food and could barely eat one serving of it before the grease got the better of us. This place used to have really good Wonton soup and Shrimp with Brocolli. Their chicken and beef was always a turn off because for some reason it is very gooey and mushy (yuck!), With that being said, as of today I feel like there must be new owners... The place had a different vibe and the usually good stuff, my wonton and shirimp, was bland and mediocre which I am upset about because this was my close go-to for that. We ordered online with an option to pay online. When we picked up our take out, I was told to present my card again for payment. Ok, then how about removing the option from the web site? The fried rice was bright yellow, waxy and flavorless and loaded with soft, dull, perfectly shaped frozen vegetables and raw onions. Inedible, so I had to dump it. Not hard to make rice, right? Ordered from hop hing last night. It was yummy and delivery was quick. We live in Chatham. When I tried to order online it said we were out of their delivery zone. No big deal just called and they were able to deliver but a little bit of a pain. Staff was polite on the phone. We ordered General Tsos chicken, garlic chicken and scallion pancakes. The combo platters were typical take out chinese. Big portion and tasty. My husband loves Eggrolls so he had mine. The scallion pancakes were so delicious- I highly recommend. Garlic chicken was good, not exceptional, but good-vegetables were fresh. General Tsos was better than most in the area, not as processed tasting as others, could be a little more spicy though. ;) Although delivery was fast, the food was cold when it came which was kind of a bummer. I had to reheat some items which was annoying. Overall, the food was quick, standard chinese. I'll order again when I don't feel like cooking. read more

For us, the best takeout Chinese in the area. Everything we have tried is delicious. From ribs to General Tso, fried dumplings to Lemon Chicken. They make a yellow curry sauce you could drink it's that good. A very personal note. Some years ago, I left my wallet at the restaurant. I did not realize it until there was a knock at our door. The owner had driven to my house with my wallet. An awesomely kind gesture. My only criticism is the folks manning the phone never give accurate estimates of when the food will be ready. This problem becomes particularly acute on busy nights, Friday and Saturday. I've waited a really long time on many occasions.
