This is my first time here. I searched for food near my orthopedic doctor's office after my visit and this is the first thing that came up. Clearly, Siri knows how much I love Thai food. Lol. Anyway, I was immediately seated. They waited for me to be done with viewing the menu before trying to harass me like a lot of other restaurants do. The food was fresh and delicious!!! I got the flatbread appetizer and if it wasn't for the fact that I live over 30 minutes away, I would've gotten it again to go so I could eat it at home, but I can only imagine how it must taste so much better hot because it's so flaky. It's the flakiest thing I've ever put in my mouth. I also had the chicken Pad Se-ew along with a Thai iced coffee and I picked up a Thai iced tea to take home because why not! The service was great. Starting with the positives, I really liked the ambiance of this place. It's dim with wide windows, which brings a lot of sunlight in. You'll most likely be seated quickly, since this is mostly a takeout place. The service is good, and the workers are friendly. I enjoyed the Thai tea as well. The tea flavor was strong enough to not get overpowered by the sweet milk, and I liked that it wasn't overly sweet. However, the curry was lackluster. I ordered the yellow curry, and it was very bland and runny. I couldn't taste any spices and could barely taste the coconut. The vegetables weren't well cooked, and there was almost no flavour to them. The rice wasn't spectacular either. I haven't tried the other menu items, but I could not recommend the curry. read more

This wasn't for me. I really wanted to try this restaurant after reading all the good reviews. I came here for dinner with the family and ordered a veg thom kha, 3 curries and a duck pad Thai. The soup tasted average and had too many raw vegetables. The 2 panaang curries were not spicy at all. The fish in the curry was nicely fried. The yellow curry (not spicy) was too sweet , was hi-liter yellow and very watery. My kid, who loves curry, barely ate hers. The duck pad that was a miss too. Nice restaurant tucked away at the end of a short strip of stores. Good service and reasonable prices. Tried tom kha gai (coconut chicken soup) and drunken noodles with shrimp. Also finished with mango sticky rice. The noodles were good..fairly standard. The soup had good flavor and mouth feel, but there was too many bamboo shoots, not enough cilantro, no galangal (that I could taste or see), and who puts celery in tom kha gai? Celery doesn't belong. The mango sticky rice was good, but it could have used more condensed milk. read more

I have to recommend the curry from here. It is so flavorful and decent size portion as well. I was told to try the coconut soup and it was different than anything I've had before- creamy and filled with bamboo shoots. The Thai iced tea with boba was refreshing and not too sweet. read more

I've gotten Thaitanium takeout a few times now and it's always been good. But tonight's order was phenomenal. Ordered the coconut milk soup with veggies and it was very flavorful. The shrimp Pad Thai was amazing. Spice level 4 had my nose running . The shrimp were of very good quality, not like the crappy frozen shrimp I've had at other Thai restaurants. Hopefully they keep up with the consistency of using high quality ingredients. I'll be ordering again in the near future. Great experience tonight. read more

This is a new place in town and it called my attention because of the name since I really like the Thai band with this name and specially the song ta Lueng lol. Ok back to the review I founded the food was very authentic actually it was delicious the shrimp pad Thai was really good. I didn't take pictures because I was too hungry and the food smelled too good. We ordered for delivery, everything arrived on time and precisely as ordered. Not a single dish disappointed. The flavors are on point, the spice level is adjustable and everything was simply delicious. My only slight gripe is the Drunken Duck (MUST TRY) was a bit light on noodles. This place has very good food... but the sit-down service is very slow, and the prices are way too high. The base prices are high for a take out place (they have a few tables and they've been empty when I've been in), and their up charges are ridiculous ($3 extra for brown rice). We saw great review, so we took a chance to try this new Thai restaurant at Berkeley Heights. Overall we gave a two thumbs up. We had the lunch menu which is interesting, three types of meat and over eight types of sauce. An option of adding soup or salad. We loved the food, nice and hot. Not a lot of oil or not greasy. I got the Thai soup and pad Thai with pork. Between one and five, I selected one for spicy. My wife got the salad and yellow curry sauce with chicken. It is really good, but there isn't a lot of seating fyi. Again, super good food, but really spicy! I have a low spice tolerance and upon ordering you are given a scale to order a level 1-5 of spice. I ordered a level two and found myself fighting for my life. The service is very quick and polite. All the food was great, but the drunken duck was the most raved about from other friends as well. It is very nice on the inside, which I did not expect from the outside. They have takeout including boba and other drinks you can go in and order. I got boba for the first time and it was really sweet, but it was my first time trying so I don't have any other experiences. It was great, but I preferred their thai iced tea.
