Miso Salad - A mixed salad in a white, scalloped-edge bowl contains various greens, shredded carrots, croutons, and fried onions. A metal spoon rests on the bowl's edge. The background shows a dark table and part of a person's arm, indicating a dining setting.

Went to Maya Thai Eatery for the first time Monday around 6:30pm. It wasn't busy around this time and I was able to find street parking. I was a party of 2 and no reservations needed and was seated right away. The inside was cute and quiet with no background music. For starters we order the miso salad, curry puff, and Thai Roti to share. The curry puff was my favorite appetizer but the miso salad was also delicious. I really enjoyed the dressing they used. The Thai Roti was good but not my favorite. Then for our dinners the drunk man noodle and the drunk women noodle was ordered. The drunk man noodle was my dish and I really enjoyed the taste and the broad noodles. I tasted the drunk women noodle but I wasn't a big fan of the spicy tomato sauce so I'm happy I got the drunk man noodle.

PROs - Thai food taste , location CONs - wings was average , parking First timer here . Wanted to try a new Thai place and chose this based on Google reviews . I saw a 4.4 on Google and decided to order here . Actually a very nice location .. so many shops and restaurants around . We ordered online and went there to pick up . Parking in this location is a little tough. We went after 8 pm and hence we got a spot right next to restaurant but generally it gets crowded . Service was good . It's a big restaurant from inside and lots of tables to sit and eat . They were able to prepare the food in 15 mins and be ready with the order .. Food was good . Especially the thai type food . I also ordered wings and it wasn't that good . Should have stuck with Thai food. Wings didn't have much flavor and was average . Thai curry was really good . Went well with rice . Ice tea was good too. Price wise it was ok but some of the speciality items were about 30$ . Slightly pricey but worth the taste (only for Thai cuisines) .. good experience overall. Will surely try again and update my review if it gets better . 4 stars ..

the menu - The image shows a menu cover from Maya Thai Eatery, with a black textured background and the restaurant's name in large pink letters. Below the name, it says 'THAI EATERY' in smaller pink text. The cover appears to be made of a sturdy material, possibly paper or thin cardboard, with a simple and elegant design.

Just a quick update. Still love this place. We rarely sit anymore, but order to-go from them at least once or twice a week. Food is still amazing, no dip in quality.

The service was great, staff was very helpful with questions about the menu. Everything we tried was delish! My favorite was the Pad se Ew!

BYOB restaurant with a nice dining room. They have mocktails you can add alcohol to. Food was great, loved the avocado salad. Lots of menu options. Staff were helpful and nice.

Massaman Curry and Spicy Tamarind Fish Lunch Special

Delicious and flavorful Thai food with the added plus of having a small parking lot. I've been here a few times for both lunch and dinner, and have enjoyed everything. Some of my favorites: - Drunk Women Noodles - it's like an elevated version of classic Drunken Noodles. Great chewy rice noodle dish with veggies and a sweet and slightly spicy tomato sauce. - Spicy Tamarind Fish - crispy fried fish coated with a sweet and sour sauce. The size is generous and good for sharing! - Massaman Curry - love this sweet coconut-based curry over rice. I usually have some extra curry to take home. The only downside here is that the restaurant can get very busy on weekends and seems to be understaffed. The staff tries to do their best though, which I appreciate.

What is not to say about this place. They are on the money every single time my wife and I go there for dinner The service is amazing and the food is outstanding. Very reasonable prices

Tasty Thai option near downtown, with parking! I've passed this place a bunch of times, but for whatever reason never tried it. Finally ordered takeout here and enjoyed it. Will be added this place to the rotation. Ordered the Drunk Man Noodles with chicken, which was delicious. Really flavorful, and fairly big portion. Also tried the Pad Woo Sen. Didn't love this dish. First of all it tasted more Chinese than Thai to me. Also I made the mistake of ordering this with beef I wouldn't recommend getting the beef at this place because it was quite tough and flavorless. And they charge more for it! Chicken is definitely better here.

First time here and I am not sure I would go back. The restaurant is clean, atmosphere is nice. Nice seating. I did notice there was minimal utensils at the tables...for example we got no knife. Only one fork. No cloth napkins to put on your lap. Just one paper napkin. I asked for more napkins and got just 1 more, when we were 2 people. The restaurant seems understaffed. The 2 waiters were running around and shuffling here and there between tables. It was not a pleasant dining experience with all the movement they were doing between serving, cleaning etc. I did not want someone running around me while I was out for dinner. As far as the food....it took so long to be served. We had a reservation and got seated right away. But we got our appetizer about 40 minutes later and our meal over an hour wait. They need to hire more help if it's that behind. The food was okay. Everything was on the sweeter side. And we ordered spicy but it was not spicy at all. The portion sizes are not huge, just enough for one person. In the drunken noodles, there were hardly any bell peppers or carrots. Majority was the cheap greens in it. I don't recommend if you are looking to have a nice date night there.

Great lunch special available and they give you a hearty amount of food. You pick the protein like chicken, tofu, beef or seafood and what you want it to go with like mixed veggie, rice or noodles. You get an appetizer with your lunch which is a choice of different dumplings, spring roll, salad a several other items. The food was very tasty. The atmosphere is very nice and there is indoor and outdoor seating. Staff is welcoming. Parking in the back.

I liked the curry more than the noodles actually, in which we tried pad Thai and pad see ew. Their Thai iced tea is very good too as I got to try that. There's a backroom that could be used for parties or overflow. Ample parking nearby. The food was just not up to par. Nearly any other Thai restaurant has better food and I'm not judging it against the best ones. While both appetizers were good- Crab Ragoon and Thai Shumai - we both ordered the Pad Thai, my friend with shrimp and I ordered chicken. The main taste was of ketchup and the teh dish had a sort of dark and musky flavor. Now ketchup is used in Asian cooking, but not as the dominant flavor in Pad Thai. And it didn't have that bright flavor you associate with Thai food. In a effort to get a more balanced and less dark flavor, I asked for more limes and peanuts. Nope, didn't really help. While my chicken was appropriately cooked, the shrimp was overcooked and rubbery. We both had the Sticky Mango Rice which had little sauce to marry the rice and the mango. If the food was the only issue, it would have been 3 stars. But the service was simply unprofessional. So let me start out with I understand there were only one other couple eating dinner, insofar as we could see. And we arrived at 7:00. The restaurant closes at 9. It was a Tuesday night. As we ate our main course, the waiter repeatedly tried to clear our entree plates. We were still eating. Rather annoying but they continued to try and take our plates though, again, we were still eating. Then they brought desserts and tried to shove them on the table for two when there was no room since our entree were still there! Assuming we'd never see them again, I suggested we put them on the adjacent table. We left a 8.30, while they were closing up. So heres the deal. You want to close up while we're there and still eating, fine. I really don't have an issue. But trying to grab plates while we're eating and doing it repeatedly and insisting on serving dessert when we are still eating our entrees is simply not professional and appropriate. Another star demerit.

The restaurant had only a few people when we walked in. Two of us arrived first and we were seated immediately while waiting for the third person, who came about 5 minutes later. I mention this detail because a lot of restaurants are strict about not seating you until the entire party arrives (I appreciate Nakorn for not sweating the small stuff). It was my second time and their first time (per my suggestion). We're all foodies so I was confident they'd enjoy! And I was right :) For starters, we shared a curry puff appetizer (3 pieces). Small size, BIG flavor!! Especially paired with the pickled sauce. Chef's kiss! For our main dishes - I had the Chicken Pad See Ew and they tried the Mixed Seafood Pad See Ew (shrimp, scallops, and mussels). Everything was delicious!!! Had it not been for the intriguing conversation around the table, we easily would not have any leftovers to take home. It is a BYOB establishment, so we brough Sake and enjoyed it in the wine glasses provided by Nakorn. I love downtown Summit and all of its foodie glory, but if you've ever been, you know what parking is like. Free after 6pm Monday - Saturday and free all day Sunday. There's a small lot directly across the street from Nakorn, which is convenient. Be intentional though, the parking spaces go fast.

I would like to say the food was good or bad but I never had a chance to find out. Of course I lost my $20 tip (the poor dasher deserved it for waiting and doing the work, but still) Not a great experience.
