Heard really good things about this place so gave it a try today. Overall extremely disappointed in the food and price. 6" cold sandwiches are $9, 12" is $17. Got two 12" blts and he barely put any lettuce or tomatoes on either of them. The bacon is also the microwave instant kind so very salty. Almost $40 for two very bland and cheap subs. Definitely won't be going back.

"I'm just a po'boy nobody loves me." Louisiana poor boy 5.75 Small mushroom soup 3.50 Except me. This Louisiana poor boy was dah bomb!! The Romanian husband & wife duo are sooo adorable. She was so confused when I was taking a photo and kept telling me to eat then she's like oooh photo photo too cute. Everything is made fresh in house even the bread!! The sauce in the poor boy is a bit too spicy for me but bareable The mushroom soup was so delicious perfect balance of creamy and mushroom chunks. Give me moreeeee. Will definitely be back to try the other sandwiches and soups of the day!

I tried this place based on a recommendation but I would not go back. I guess the owner fancies himself to be like the Soup Nazi from Seinfeld, as that's how he was acting. I read the sandwich board to see if anything jumped out at me. The Chicken Parmesan sub sounded good, as anything with melted cheese sounds good to me! I asked the guy what was on the sandwich and he said, "Everything you don't like". I laughed and said, "Well, I really don't like mayo, so please don't put that on my sandwich" he said "fine", and told me to sit down. I had also ordered a bowl of mushroom soup (which was very good) and I started eating that while he made my sandwich. When it was ready, he leaned over the counter and held out the plate for me to take. I brought the plate back to my table and lifted the bread to see what it looked like inside. There was no melted cheese, and the chicken looked like teriyaki chicken, not chicken parm. Plus, there was mayo on it. I took it back to the counter as I thought he got my order wrong. But no, he said the 'melted cheese' was actually parmesan cheese mixed in with the chicken. He apologized for the mayo and gave me a new sandwich, but it was definitely teriyaki marinated chicken with parmesan cheese sprinkled in. I guess if you are an ass, you don't have to justify your menu - you just glare at people until they either eat or leave. Well, I ate the sandwich, but it was not good - aside from the bread. I'll give them that - two stars for good soup and fresh bread - but terrible customer service and sandwich ingredients. If you don't know what a chicken parmesan sandwich is, don't put it on your menu. Simple. Will not return.

I liked it. My experience was nothing like the other poster's. I walk in around noon. The couple greets me at the counter. Both are very friendly. I order my soup and sandwich. They hand me my soup and they bring me my sandwich to my table. Several customers walked in after me and they seemed to know them. Asking about family members and remembering orders. The food was wonderful. Freshly made soups and bread. Yummy. Healthy? - Yes. Lots of Veggie options. They don't accept credit cards, but they do accept the interact debit cards. $5 min.

DISGUSTING SERVICE! The toothless lady serving lost her mind when I took a photo of the soup menu (to send to my Fiancé because there was a list and I had no time to text it) then when I had to call my fiancé, which interrupted his business meeting, she kicked me out when I explained to him how I was being treated!

For $60, the meal included the chicken soup, spicy squid, raw crab, pork belly, stir fried glass noodles, mini assorted pancakes (veggie, fish and fish patty), and banchan. The chicken soup was good. The chicken was tender and meat easily pulled off the bone. There was rice inside the chicken. One crab was included and it was marinated in a spicy soy sauce. I wish the crab shell was included, but it was not. The crab meat was sweet and fresh. The spicy squid was mixed with radish and green onions. There was not much of the squid itself. The pancakes were alright. There were three different kinds. My child ate two of them and really liked it. The glass noodles were tasty. Banchan selection was good. Overall, I think the price was very good for the amount of food. It was just enough two adults. Service was efficient and friendly.

The side they had was a scoop of rice with sesame seeds on top and some chopped up cabbage salad with Korean regular dressing (ketchup + mayo lol). Just like a bad date, the chicken and pork, couldn't tell difference because it was drier than the Sahara desert and should've called it meat jerky and packaged i honestly wouldn't have felt ripped off. The 1 piece hamburger steak and the rice was the reason 2 stars cause the garlic taste and texture with pieces of garlic etc was delicious but the looks were ummm, look at my photo. Very suspectible. Maybe it'll be better to eat in person but as for now I'm too scared to even try and order the same combo and waste another twenty bucks and probably end up just trying the samgyetang.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE !!…read more Wow, just wow. I've been here a few times before and it has never been THIS bad. Today, we went in. The lady behind the counter could hardly understand me. While taking my order, another women came up and they started looking at an iPad about a SkipTheDishes order. I had to wait for them to finish to keep ordering. They where supposed to put guacamole on my 1 salad, and they charged me for it, plus a random 50 cent charge for banana peppers I never ordered. Like what ? Ok fine. I told them about the 50 cent charge and she just replied "yes". I'm like, why am I being charged for banana peppers I didn't order, again she just says "yes". Frustrated I say ok whatever. No point to argue over a few cents. Go outside, I see not only did they not even put in the banana peppers they charged me for; but, the guacamole I paid $3 for was not in the salad either. So now I've paid $3.50 for things I didn't receive . Pretty irritating ! Open my other salad and they forgot to put tomatoes on it. I go back to the store and ask them, hey, you guys charged me for this and forgot to put it on. She replies "yes, guac is extra" like, I know. I've paid for it but didn't get it. They argued with me for about 5 minutes before handing me a tiny container of guacamole. To top it all off, after arguing, paying nearly $30 for 2 salads, I finally get to eat, and there's a fly in my lettuce. Seriously, I don't understand what happened here today. I was charged for several things I didn't receive, then had to argue to get what I paid for, then I found a fly in my lettuce . I used to come here pretty often but that's going to change. I suggest everybody stay far away- go somewhere else. The chopped leaf down town or the one In Port Coquitlam are MUCH better. You actually get what you pay for without being argued with. Pretty disgusted with my experience here today.
