With this glorious baked potato, there was a white, shredded cheese. I am not used to this at all because usually you usually get orange cheddar cheese on a potato, but this is Vermont. People new to the region - like me - notice simple touches like white cheddar cheese and it's little things like that that really make a difference in having an authentic New England experience. And now onto the Hebrew National Franks: they are on New England rolls. I didn't know what those were until I ordered them, but this makes a total difference. There's also a demonstration kitchen and a café, which adds even more to the experience. While their website is fantastic (and what we've relied on for years), the in‑person store is absolutely worth the trip. Whether you're an avid baker or looking for the perfect gift for someone who is, this is a destination worth driving for.
