Run Run Run!!!!!! This is the worst experience I've ever had with a car audio company. They damaged my property during an install and couldn't even fix the issue after three different visits. They left power wires hanging on my clutch. Battery covers missing all the clips and not installed. Ripped my seat and denied it. After everything was supposed to be fixed, now my heating and cooled seats don't work. What a joke!!! I will be taking civil action against this company for the damages and loss of work. They would not release the car to me unless I paid. The owner Mr. Jody will not return any calls or messages I left for over a month. I will never let these guys work on my car again. These guys are excellent! About 2 years ago, they installed a five channel Rockford Fosgate R2-750x5 amp, 4 - 6.5" Punch P1650 speakers and 2 - 10" R/2 Rockford Fosgate subwoofers in my Jeep Wrangler Unlimited and that system rocked out! The bass was deep and clean and along with the 4 Punch speaker's brought a party to my Jeep. I couldn't wait to get in and go for a ride and didn't care how long the trip lasted because the sound was so sweet. The head man, James, was great, he knew just what to add to my ride to get it rocking and the installer, Dante, was a genius at tuning the system to my exact taste. 5-star experience all the way with Sound Pro! But wait, there's more! Last week, I had James and Dante upgrade my system with even better Rockford Fosgate gear and now I shake the ground when I roll down the street! I couldn't believe they could improve on what I had. Trust me, this was no gradual increase in sound production. Instead, I was transported into another dimension of sound altogether. I am an old rocker from the 60s and, my system will play as loud as I can stand it which is supersonic level courtesy of 2-10" Rockford Fosgate Stage 3 subwoofers (P3D4-10), a SP-P1000x5 1000 watt amp and 4- 6.5" full range Power T1 Rockfords. Spent way too much money on a system that has NEVER worked right. From day one the radio has not worked. Took it back to fix, still not fixed. Took it elsewhere to fix and was told it was installed incorrectly. I'd give them ZERO stars if that were an option. read more

My father had a back up camera installed... that was not bought there... but was assured it was a great product and will work and can be easily installed. They installed it well but the lines were not moving with the truck when the camera was engaged in reverse. The booklet and the instructions ALL states that the device needed to be calibrated. My father called back, spoke with the owner, and was told that he "has never had to calibrate , never heard of systems needing calibration, and doesn't know how to do it". We paid over$240 less than a couple weeks ago for this install only for it not work and with absolutely no help in trouble shooting the device from the company. read more

Let me start off by saying that the customer service I received from a gentleman named L was great. He first off greeted me when nobody else did. He addressed the issues that I was having with my stereo in my car. He explained exactly what was going on and how it needed to be corrected. He was not pushy like others. He got the job done. Installed my system in 2020. Took my car in this week as I had some issues due to a different shop, hooking up my battery wrong. I bought my car in and the team at Sound Pro took a look and showed me that the connection was in the wrong place, hence the battery draining would come to a halt. I wish there was a zero star option. We brought our car to sound pro to have a radio installed. We drive our car there with no problems. We picked up our car after the radio install and it didn't make it home. The car cut off a half mile from sound pro and would not start. We had to have it towed back to sound pro. After taking the radio out they said the car still won't start and it has nothing to do with their install. So we said we wanted a refund because they not only took the radio out, now the car isn't running. The owner Jody Hammond said we wouldn't get a refund, He was extremely rude, disrespectful and defensive.I asked him what did we pay them for. We have no radio installed, dash is in shambles and our sons car will not drive. After disrespectfully talking to my wife and I he said you know what I feel threatened and called the police on my wife that is 5' 2". BTW when we called the police they told us it was a civil matter and they couldn't send an officer, as soon as they threatened whites person calls they were there in u under 1 minute. Long story short, the police didn't do anything to us or sound pro because there was never a threat, I appreciate that they did handle it appropriately and we're kind!! We now have to take our car to a mechanic shop to figure out what sound pro F$*:%d up. Run away fast as you can. They quoted us $100-150 then charged us $400.00 which we paid. Now we are out of $400 plus another $200 in towing plus whatever the repair shop will charge to repair our car. We are the kind of people who support our community but sound pro steals from their community. Please Beware!!! In response to the owner. I took the car to the repair shop to have the problem diagnosed and they informed me that the anti theft system was activated when the new radio was installed. I now have to take the car to the VW dealership because they are the only people that can reset the anti theft which is directly tied to the radio replacement. If it was activated with the removal of the radio the car would not have driven to sound pro. Our son drove the car all around without the radio in the compartment including to Sound pro. The car did not stop running until after I took it to sound pro. Sitting in the waiting room of the repair shop I met another person that told me that sound pro drilled through their gas tank installing speakers and an amp and they were getting repaired to their car after getting work done at sound pro. Because of them I will have spent what the car is worth in repairs and still haven't gotten a radio installed. In the end I believe in karma, Sound Pro took $400.00 dollars from us, and $400 in towing, but I know karma is real. Everyone makes mistakes. Sound Pro just likes to make mistakes and blame their customers for it. Every bad review this place has, they blamed the customer. We have on video Jody Hammond the owner saying he will give a refund if we can bring the paperwork from the shop saying what the codes are NOW LETS SEE HOW TRUE TO HIS WORD HE IS AND WHAT KIND OF BUSINESS MAN HE REALLY IS WHEN WE RETURN WITH THE PAPERWORK!!! This morning, just as Sound Pro was opening, I called and asked if they could install a new radio for me. I was told to come over and they would do it now. It was a more difficult install job as the radio was going into a 1986 truck and modifications had to be made. I arrived at the store and met James. James spent a lot of time coming up with how to install a new radio in an old truck where he had to make many modifications to make it work. He smiled through the entire procedure and I left with a very professional install. The amount that James charged me to work this whole process out was incredibly low. read more

I took my Vette in for a stereo upgrade and was more than satisfied with the quality of work and performance of the new system. Install was done in the amount of time that was predicted. I wanted an adjustment to the system a week later and it was completed with no issue and at no additional charge. If you are as picky as I am you will happy with any work these guys do for you. read more

THANK YOU SOUND PRO! I recently had a DVD/Navigation system installed in my car. My car is an older one and other shops Had told me it was a hard car to work on and they could not guaranty how good it would look. I had given up when a friend told me about SOUND PRO. I went to SOUND PRO and talked to a guy about my project. He looked at my car and said yes it is a tough one but we have done them before. He also told me that if they broke anything during the install that they would replace it and assured me that the installers there would take their time and do a clean install. I said "let's do it!' I dropped off the car one morning and it was ready to go that day. The install looks great and now I can find where I'm going without a map. I highly recommend these guys! Poor customer service. Very unprofessional! Beware! Not worth the aggravation or your money! A very smug gentlemen took my order for a bluetooth for my vehicle. Very bland, no smile and acted as if I was bothering him. I should have left then but I was curious about price. When I picked out the bluetooth and paid the deposit he became very happy to work with me. He told me he would receive my part the same day and would call me to schedule an appointment. He called that evening and I advised the rep that I would not be available till Wednesday because I had to work. The rep stated it would only take 45 minutes. I did not have to be in until 11 am so I agreed to a 9 am appointment. Upon arrival at 9 am they took my vehicle right in (I was the only client they had) but I don't know if they ate breakfast first or not because before I knew it, it was 10:30 and their had been two customer coming in with complaints. One with a bubble in his tinted windows and another with speakers that kept blowing out (He was there for the 2nd time). I asked the owner Jody to ask how much longer because I had to go to work and I got very discouraged about my decision to do business with them and he checked with the tech and came back and said another 45 minutes to an hour! Ok so now I'm upset and asked why would they inconvenience my time? And he didn't even respond at all. Either the rep lied about the time frame initially or the tech did not have a clue on what he was doing. I asked the owner to return my car to me so I can go to work and that took another 20 mins which made me late for work. I get in my car and the radio no longer works and the tech says if you can wait i think I can fix it. I told him to remove himself from the vehicle so I can go to work. After work, very disappointed by the way business was handled I called the Owner to ask for my $50 deposit refunded. The owner blatantly said "no we don't to that here". Furthermore, he did not try to provide any empathy, or compensation due to my inconvenience and hung up the phone. I tell you what, I have learned not to support small business any longer and that is why their business is small and will stay small due to lack of customer value and professionalism and they can keep that $50 and purchase themselves some customer service etiquette and how to run a business books. I will advertise poor reviews everywhere just so no one else will have to experience this type of behavior or quality service. Beware, stay away! its not worth the aggravation or your money!
