I have an almost 14 year old g37 that needed ceramic tint removed since it had gone bad after all these years. I was a little nervous about the tint removal. Only because I know that can be hard on the interior from past experiences. Even though an older car, you still want it to be nice. But the technician did an amazing job. I didn't see wear and tear to the headliner and defroster lines weren't scraped off either which worried me the most. So if you only need tint removed. These are the guys to trust. I also got new tint put on. Which i love! I feel like my car feels new(ish) again to me after all these years. Also the guys are very responsive about getting you in for an appointment. They even tried to get me in sooner when they had openings pop up. So 100% recommend. Sorry car isn't washed, but tint looks great.

I had an appointment on a Saturday morning at Alpha (sister shop) but when I arrived, it was…read moreclosed. I texted the main number and got an immediate call back from Mo over at Luminex who apologized and ask me to come to the Luminex shop and they would get me taken care of. The shops are within a mile of each other so no trouble at all. I purchased a Groupon for the Nano Ceramic on the front two windows. I saw a previous review that stated Groupons can only be used during the week. I did not have this experience. There were no issues using it at all. Note: Groupons are good for I believe 35% tinting. You can upgrade this for$50. Mo was great in showing me all options and even let me look through the back windows of his car so I could see the amount of light blockage. It was overcast at the time so it was super helpful because it made me realize, what I wanted to do for my back windows would be much too dark for my vision issues and night time driving. He wasn't pushy or tried to upsell aggressively as some places normally would. In the end, I decided to only do my front windows and windshield to start with. I wanted all windows to be uniform so did 20% on the front windows to match the back, 70% on the windshield and added a 5% strip in the top 6 inches of the windshield. Great news is that there's a 3 year warranty! So I was able to purchase worry free! The windshield was $175 and the added strip was $50. The prices are great in comparison to what I've paid for tinting on other SUVs. From the outside it looks excellent. From the inside you definitely feel the temperature and light difference. Right now it still needs to cure so there are some blurry spots but I was assured with leaving it in the sun for as long as I can this would clear up. Tips I was given was to not roll the windows down, don't use the defroster, and only use the foot level AC for a few days. It's also really nice they placed a DO NOT ROLL DOWN sticker across the window buttons as a reminder. If the tinting doesn't clear up, I'll comeback and amend the review but I have all faith that they will be great! Thanks, Mo! (Hope this is spelled correctly lol) I will definitely be back I'm sure for more work at your shop! Oh I also have to mention that I booked my original appointment with Ali who was great at explaining all options and didn't rush me to get off the phone.

I had almost fooled myself into believing that they were toast and that was a good enough reason for me to go in debt and replace them. After speaking with my man Javi (Store manager) I decided to allow Luminex the opportunity to bring them back to life with a new gun metal powder coat with clear. Might as well go ahead and have them put some Candy Apple Red on the brake calipers while exposed. Couldn't be more happy with the finish product. When I picked up my car he said to leave the can in the sun for 3 days to let all the bubble go…read moreaway (never heard that before, but I did it anyway). Three days later I still had a ton of bubbles in EVERY WINDOW tint. So, I told him it was messed up and he said bring it back and they would do it again. Second round of tint application yielded the same results...bubbles in all of the windows and a poor job overall. The owner said to bring it back again (1.3 hrs round trip form me btw). He said this time he would have his best tint guy do the work. Third round of tint application and sure, it got a little better. Instead of several bubbles in every window tint, just a few bubbles in the side windows and a ton of bubbles in the back. So, still a crap job overall. At this point, the owner said he could try again or just take the tint off...but he said there was NO OPTION for a refund. So, I was out $350, and still never got what I paid for. The experience was horrible and even there 'best' tint guy was unable to do a basic tint job correctly. I took it to another place that laughed at the situation and said they will do it right for me or I do not pay. I would not recommend 519 Customz for tint...or anything, since they put money first and customer satisfaction last...and do not know tint.

I walked in, confirmed my options, paid for the services as I was dropping my car off, and left. Martin told me it would be 2-3 hours so I planned my day accordingly. I called at the 2-hour mark and my car was readyyyyyyyyyy!!! Upon arriving back at 519 Customz I was provided my keys and walked to my car and Babeeeeeeeee... OH MY GOSHHHHHHHHHH!!! 519 Customz did an AMAZINGGGGGG Job on my Tint and not only was it sized to the window perfectly, but there were NO Bubbles and no water spots either.
