Received my new Prius Prime and wanted to have my windows tint. I called for a price quote and Kelly gave me based on my request for Air80 on the front windshield and LLumar Pinnacle at 50% on the other windows. Glass Tiger does need to update their website as only their Lilburn location is open and the current tinting has changed (LLumar FormulaOne Pinnacle and LLumar FormulaOne Stratos as opposed to IRX and CTX). I appreciate Kelly wanting me to be satisfied with my tinting by showing me the difference between 35% and 50%. I wasn't too concerned about privacy and looks so I went with the 50% as I wanted to avoid any scrutiny from the police if I drive across states. Installation took awhile from 3 to 4 hours, but Kelly did terrific work. I did not notice anything out of place with the tint installation. There was some air bubbles with the front windshield, but the next day it was gone. Friendly and profession, I recommend this company for tinting. read more

Wanted to get my new 2024 Telluride tinted and the more I read online the more confused I got until I decided to stop by one of metro Atlanta's highest rated tint shops, Glass Tiger Tinting in Lilburn and spoke to Kelly the Manager. #KellyKnowsTint and was willing to speak at length to explain everything I needed to know and understand. I then did more research and really read through the 5 star Google reviews and decided Glass Tiger was indeed the place to get tints in Atlanta. Fast forward a week and I eventually ended up with Llumar FormulaOne Pinnacle. They removed the cheap dealer tint on the driver and passenger windows and added back 25% on the front row and then added 50% on the back glass on top of the factory privacy that got everything else close to 15%. I did this on Sunday morning at 10am and since my vehicle was the only one in the shop, the team knocked it out in less than 90 minutes from drive up to drive out. Bought my car 6 months ago decided to get the windows tinted. With the heat we're getting your car seats and dashboard needs protection. Googled various tinting locations nothing stood out for me. Checked Yelp and this location came up highly recommended. Called spoke to Kelly he explained various tint films, benefits and prices. He texted the link for the deposit. Appointment was scheduled . Arrived today 30 min early. 1 customer was sitting in the lobby. Another was standing behind me for check in. There were 2 vehicles in the stall . Within 20 min of waiting they were done with the 2 vehicles. Unknown how long they had been there but they both looked good. One of the techs pulled my car in within 15 min of waiting. The customer that owns the Tahoe was next. The stall can hold at least 3 to 4 vehicles . I was told at least 2hrs but all reviews say an hour at least. There are several stores nearby - Kroger, gas stations, and eateries. So if you're waiting you can walk to pick up food/snacks. They also have a snack machine with all the goodies It's conveniently located off Five Forks Trikum . You will miss it if you're not careful . There is a house and garage on the side . The office is attached to the garage. Nice waiting area. Enough room to seat at least 10 ppl - sectional sofa . There is a TV and restroom. Ceramic tinting is BEST. Most companies are using it now. Here you have 3 options - priced $325 to $445. Prices may vary as well depending on the type vehicle such as trucks/SUV. Just confirm the price when booking. I'm very pleased with the tint for my car. I was told the back window always takes a bit more time on the E450 Coupes. Low and behold they did a great job and it took an 1.5 hr . I brought in my brand new Tesla model 3 to get its windows tinted. When I picked it up, I noticed that there was a neon yellow stain near the driver side window column. I called about it they said it couldn't be them who did it, and if I came by, they would spritz some windshield fluid to see if it would come off. I couldn't believe they stained my car, and then would go on to deny doing it, and then make a half-hearted offer to clean it. I tried removing the stain when I got home, and it's still there. The tint job seemed okay, but there's definitely air bubbles and I'll have to wait a week to see if it settles. read more

Now don't be alarmed if you arrive at a residential house. There's proper signage around to confirm that it's not just anybody's home. The shop is to the right of the house, and the interior has the full shop set up. I had the ceramic tint installed this past weekend, and it was a great price. Though there were some hiccups about how long it would take for the whole process, Glass Tiger Window Tinting accommodated me. The in-house ceramic is $300 (tax included) for a 2014 Civic sedan. They have a lifetime in-house warranty on the product (for as long as you own the vehicle). This includes the four sides and rear windows. The front windshield is $175 for a clear ceramic if you're wondering how much it is. The owner is responsive via Yelp's quoting feature if you want to get a breakdown of the prices for your own car. One thing you have to know is that the process takes about 4 hours (add additional time if you want the front windshield done). You can either wait with the vehicle, which they will get you in and out faster, do a drop off for the whole day (they work on your car when they can), or do a drop off with a confirmed appt. I guess the drop off with an end time was what I wanted, and this was where things went wonky and confusing. Hence the accommodation part... Since they were able to help me out with a guarantee end time, I'm bumping my review up to 5 stars. Overall, my experience was great with Natasha when I dealt with her later in the process as she was professional and knowledgable. A few little things to point out... 1) Debris and those green things from trees were dragged into my car. I rarely have passengers so things on the floor and backseat were def not there before the car was dropped off. I suppose since they have the doors ajar during the installation that this would cause dust to come into the car as well. It was fun vacuuming today. :/ 2) Things were moved around in my trunk with wet little spots. So that was strange. I don't know what happened or why the chaos back there was necessary. 3) And there's a random razor in the back seat of my car just waiting to be sat upon. read more

Couldn't ask for more! I just bought a 2020 BMW 330i and read MANY reviews for places in the Atlanta area for tinting, and this place seemed to have the best overall reviews. I worked with Avery (at the Lilburn location) from the beginning. He provided a quote over the phone for my BMW 330i and was extremely knowledgeable of each of the tint film types/options, as well as the Georgia tint laws. I went with the CTX 35% for all side/back windows (which is the darkest LEGAL option). CTX is their mid-tier film in terms of quality, heat deflection, price, etc. $375 (tax included) for side and back windows. They did an INCREDIBLE job, and my car was ready in approx. an hour and 20 minutes (Sunday - 12pm appointment). Every other quote I received in the Atlanta area required at least 4-5 hours minimum for the entire car and front windshield. However, Glass Tiger has a machine that precision cuts all the film for the exact model of the car, which heavily reduces the job time. I am from Midtown and was not familiar with the area, but there was a Starbucks (inside a Kroger) and a Planet Smoothie within a 10 minute walking distance if you need to get some work done. Glass Tiger does have a decent waiting room with couches where you can watch them work on your car, but not super ideal for working with a laptop. I went to Starbucks and Avery gave me a call when it was ready. Overall, HIGHLY recommend. Avery was incredibly friendly and the team did a great job on the tint. NOTE: This is not a walk-in type of place. You'll need to book an appointment. They were able to get me in within 48-hours from my initial phone call/quote. NOTE 2: Don't let the outside of the place fool you (looks like a small garage in someone's side/back yard). The garage is actually very large and professional grade (holds 4-5 cars at a time) and is well lit + air-conditioned, with a nice lobby/waiting area. read more

I was looking to get my windows tinted and first went to Groupon. I didn't feel like the reviews gave me enough detail (what was I thinking, not coming here first? Lol)_ Immediately, I found GTWT and all of these great reviews!!! Believe me, they do not disappoint! Upon calling, I spoke with Kelly and he was very knowledgeable in regards to the different levels of tint and the specific details of all. I made an appointment and was ready to go! Fast forward to the day before my appointment, I had to cancel and they were very polite about rebooking and made sure that everything worked out well. Now onto to day of the actual appointment, I got lost...smh!! They have 2 locations and I put in the wrong one. I was the first car for the day, so I knew that they would be closed but also didn't want to possibly lose my spot. So, I called and left a message. Right after they opened, I received a callback from Kelly stating that he got my message and just wanted to check in and make sure everything was ok. Talk about "going the extra mile"! Got the most expensive tint option for like $700 for my Honda CR-V Hybrid. All the windows, windshield, & moonroof tinted. Excellent install work. Can't notice the tint unless you really look hard at the window's edge. As for blocking out the heat - I say it's not worth it. Why? So the tint repels heat. But the car isn't insulated, so heat still transfers via conduction & convection through the body, doors, roof. Overall, I didn't notice any heat reduction at all. If I had known this I'd would have opted for the cheapest tint. Just get the cheapest, darkest tint. Don't worry about the heat repel factor. It's pointless. read more

Yooo, I legit didn't believe this place could have so many 5 stars. But it's legit and I can see why. My fiance & I have been wanting to get our tints done for a while (lol I just never got around to doing it in Hawaii). Anyway, we looked up a few places and saw this one had so many good reviews so we picked this place. Mo gave them a call but no answer so I submitted a quote via Yelp. We got a call back shortly and the gentleman on the phone said he could fit it in today at 3pm and 4pm and it would take about an hour for each car. No problem. We popped up at 3 thinking we can drop one off and take off with the other car and come back. Nope they took in both cars. We figured we kill time so we walked around and found something to eat. Both cars were done in an hour. There are different types of films and they all have different performance levels. They range from $99-150 depending on what type of film, the color doesn't affect the price. We both got our front windows and a strip for the windshield. As mentioned service was fast AF, but it was because someone cancelled so that's probably why. Also their location can easily be missed. We came from Snellville side of five forks, they're on the left hand side before you get to the major intersection of Turner + Five Forks (before the Texaco). Their waiting area is also very clean. They have restrooms, and refreshments. You can also watch them installing the tints as well. Now I'll survive the GA summers and won't burn. Thanks!! read more
