We took the Leavenworth Christmas Tree Lighting Day Trip this past Saturday with Sound Excursions and it was worth every penny. Our Hostess, Shannon I believe was her name, was so incredibly sweet, fun, engaging and attentive. Being a CDL holder, I'm usually a tad bit critical of other drivers, but I must say, our driver, Brock, was hands down AMAZING!!!! He handled the bus very very safely and the ride was smooth. We were also impressed with his parking and backing skills. You've got a fantastic crew working for a great company. Can't wait to utilize your services again in the future

I went on the Leavenworth Tree Lighting getaway with Sound Excursions in December and it was so much fun! The guide on my bus was Zubin and he was super funny and kept us entertained the whole way over to Leavenworth with Christmas-themed trivia. Once we got to Leavenworth we had a few hours to ourselves to shop and watch the Seahawks game! The tree lighting ceremony was so cool. There are carolers and a ton of people. It was so nice not to have to worry about driving home amongst all the traffic. Thank you Sound Excursions for another fun & easy trip!

My girlfriend got me a float trip to Leavenworth with Sound Excursions for my birthday and everything about the day was perfect! They take care of everything for the day..... It starts with a comfortable bus ride from downtown Seattle to the float spot filled with trivia and Parks and Rec. They had snacks and water to load up on for the trip. The tubing was great and then food was ready for us at the end. We had an entire bar to ourselves and ate some delicious brats (classic Leavenworth dinner!), played some games and had a few drinks. There was also some time at the end to explore the town before loading back on the bus. I've never done anything like this but it was awesome. The staff were great and literally took care of everything for us.

We went on the Leavenworth tubing beer and brats trip and had a blast. We met in Seattle and the bus and tour guides were conveniently parked next to a parking garage. They supplied water and snacks for the ride there. .. During the trip kept us entertained with jokes, trivia and episodes of the office. When we got there they supplied plastic bags and walked us to the tubes.. Had sunscreen if we forgot it. It just all seemed very organized. After tubing they were standing there waiting telling us where to eat and where to meet to leave. The only downfall is it just wasn't long enough. Could of easily stayed 3 more hours.

The staff was friendly and knowledgeable! My friend and I had a great time at the Terrarium Making + Cider Tasting event. This event includes all the supplies to build the terrarium (you can pick 2-3 plants), a glass of whichever cider you want and then at the end samples of about 4 ciders. We definitely want to do this event again!

Fun trip, good value for the price. You should just be aware of the fact that you don't get to drink beer until after the tubing

We ended up really enjoying the tour and would highly recommend to visitors. This would especially be a great thing to add to your itinerary if you're only in the city for a short time, as you get to see a lot of landmarks in a short time. You also get to hear about the city's history and key industries. The ride overall is pretty smooth, and my husband, who gets motion sickness, was totally fine. The boat when docked can experience a little more motion, however, so your mileage may vary. We also found it easy to get seats with good views, and the guides were easy to hear anywhere on the boat. The crew were friendly and engaging, and Angelo and the other staff were very kind to us when my husband and I mentioned we were celebrating our anniversary.

The check-in and onboarding process was super easy. The ship promptly left dock at designated time. The top deck had open view. The second level had enclosed area with glass window views. Also both ends were open to guests as well. From start to end, the staff member did an amazing job of narrating many aspects of the views from the deck. A lot of it was about the downtown Seattle buildings, Space Needle, buildings and parks by the shore, the sea ports and many other cool facts along the way. I throughly enjoyed the hour long tour. The weather was also fantastic to take stunning pictures of the downtown, the mountains and the port. They also had a bar in second level where they served alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages, pop corn and some small snacks. Prices were decent for it being a tourist activity. We liked both popcorn and the strawberry lemonade.

We had been to the market before and just wandered around, but this time my father-in-law suggested we try a tasting tour--and we're so glad we did! That's how we met Lucky Lane, our guide with Show Me Seattle. I'll admit I was a little apprehensive at first, but Lucky completely won us over. He was incredibly friendly, fun, and hands-down the most knowledgeable tour guide we've ever had. Lucky brought the market to life with fascinating history, personal stories, and the absolute best tasting samples Pike Place has to offer. There were too many highlights to list--every stop was unique, delicious, and memorable. Lucky struck the perfect balance between informative and entertaining, and made us feel like we were exploring the market with an old friend. Thank you Lucky! On Saturday, the 21st, four of us were scheduled to go and do this tour and we were extremely excited. After dealing with the atrocious Seattle traffic and terrible parking situations down by the pier I was already very frustrated. Our party arrived at the Ye Olde Curiosity Shop at 7:04 for our 7:00 pm tour and asked the worker where the tour meets to which the rude worker just replied under their breath, "they left" and returned to work.I explained that I understood we were late but were hoping we could catch up with them. I asked that same worker where the tour meets and they said, "In a big group outside" and continued to work. While we were on the pier in Seattle this information was not helpful. Trying to salvage the night, we went outside and tried to walk around and look for a "big group of people" on the crowded Seattle pier on a Saturday night. After a few minutes I went back inside he shop frustrated and asked the worker if they could find someone that was actually helpful that could answer some questions. With some reluctancy this person called their accommodating manager who explained that the tour heads to the right and described exactly what the tour guide was wearing. Ultimately we were unable to catch up with our tour guide because of how much time was wasted with this worker who was unwilling to help us at all. Again I understand we were late, but stuff happens. This place needs to hire people who have customer service skills.

Found a Groupon and thought we'd give it a whirl. I've been on the Underground Tour before and…read morethought this might be a different perspective. First off, the Groupon was a nice deal, however the reservation process was a bit challenging. You must reserve a minimum of 48 hours in advance. And they are closed Tuesday& Wednesday in slower months. I followed the directions and emailed my request in for a Thursday 6 pm walk. (Friday and Saturday were unavailable for Groupon) Apparently I put the incorrect Groupon code so received an email requesting correct code. After another email, I was confirmed. The emails are a bit overwhelming and require you to read all rules and stipulations regarding cancellation policy..and I imagine they were created because of multiple problems with third party discounts, but I suggest perhaps toning down the big print and bold highlights to a more tourist friendly approach as it was a tad off putting for a first impression. So, all Groupon issues aside, we arrived at the address provided a half hour early (always better to be early than late!). There are multiple parking lots available throughout the address, as well as metered street parking. As a disabled person, I was able to find a spot right in front with a placard for free. We walked down a steep stairway into a very fitting dungeon like storefront. We were greeted by a friendly lady who found our reservation and said we could walk about the DEATH MUSEUM until 6 when our tour would meet just to the right of the counter. There is a small gift shop with mostly local products. The museum has some interesting information and displays that reflect all aspects of death, from embalming utensils, death masks, photos of deceased, mourning attire, coffins, hair embellishments and more. Nice touch. At 6 we met in the pews, and were greeted by our tour guide, Graham.. A "portly" (lol) gentleman with a charismatic presence. He spoke with enthusiasm and provided recordings, pictures and videos throughout the tour. The walk itself is easy. The tour is 90 minutes and only covers a few blocks of Pioneer Square. There are several sets of steep stairways that are part of this tour. It is not wheelchair or stroller accessible. At the end of the tour we were aka to walk through their own "underground" in the dark with flashlights they provided. This was pretty cool. I really am intrigued by the whole underground here in Seattle. I did enjoy the tour, and our guide was great.. However I felt like there wasn't a lot of substance. I have done the UNDERGROUND TOUR below, so I am a little familiar with Seattle's history and I would have liked to hear a little more area history and visited more buildings. This is not a HAUNTED TOUR. There is no-one jumping out at you or spooky sound effects. This is a tour based on evidence and local stories and lore of paranormal experiences. You can be a believer, a skeptic or a non believer.. You are given the facts, the stories, the lore and evidence and you can form your own opinion. All in all it was a good PG intro to the world of yesteryear in Seattle. I hear there is a pub tour for adults only and think this may have been a better option, however it was not available through the Groupon. Overall..skip the Groupon and book an adult only tour. Till our next visit to Seattle... :)

I cannot say enough amazing things about this Olympic National Park tour experience. From start to finish, this was hands down one of the best guided experiences I've ever had and one I will remember for a long time. We visited Hurricane Ridge, the Elwha area, Lake Crescent, Marymere Falls, and several additional scenic stops throughout the day, and every single location was absolutely breathtaking. The landscapes were stunning, but what truly elevated this experience was the way the entire day was curated and paced. Nothing ever felt rushed. We had time to really take in the scenery, walk around, take photos, learn, and fully experience each stop before moving on to the next. Our guide Evan was phenomenal. Incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, thoughtful, and genuinely passionate about the ecosystem, history, geology, and ecology of Olympic National Park. Listening to him explain how the landscapes were formed, how the ecosystems function, and the history behind the region made the entire experience feel so much deeper and more meaningful. It honestly made me want to continue learning more after the tour ended. What also stood out was how well he created an atmosphere for the group. During the drive, everyone introduced themselves and shared a little about where they were from, which made the group feel comfortable and connected. On the ride back, he had everyone share songs that had personal meaning to them, and we talked about why we chose them. It turned what could have just been a long drive into a genuinely memorable and human experience. Even the lunch setup was beautifully organized and thoughtfully presented. Every detail throughout the day felt intentional and well done. The ferry ride, the mountains, the forests, the rivers, the waterfalls, the lakes, it was all unforgettable. Olympic National Park is stunning on its own, but having such an incredible guide and such a well-executed tour made this experience truly exceptional. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Seattle/Olympic area. Easily a 10/10 experience.

Martin W. was our tour guide on this expedition and he was exceptional!!! Friendly and down to earth and extremely knowledgeable as well. He really did add another layer to this trip and made you feel comfortable and well-taken cared of. My daughter was a little apprehensive about going as she didn't know what to expect, however, this was also the highlight of her trip as well. I truly wish we had more time to explore what Olympic National Park has to offer, however, if you are on a time crunch and are unfamiliar with the area, this is easily the best way to get a taste of the park. In addition, they also pick you up right from your hotel and also provide coffee, drinks and an exceptional catered lunch! After picking us up and taking the ferry across to Bainbridge (a cool experience itself) it's a bit of a drive to get over to the Port Angeles area where we stopped at the Visitor Center, however, there is lots to see and learn on the way. Fortunately the road was open to get to Hurricane Ridge and we got to experience some snowshoeing (first time we had ever done this) and it was awesome! Not too tiring and for those who might struggle you are given the choice to stay back if you had wanted to (BUT WHY WOULD YOU!!!) We then headed down the mountain and stopped off for some sightseeing and another little walk to stretch the legs and then we headed to our next stop. Wish I can remember the name of the place, however, it was an incredible spot to explore as Martin set up for our catered lunch. It was located right next to a river that had some cool atmospheric mist slowly creeping through. There was also an easy little trail which took you through lush vegetation & moss covered trees to a free-flowing waterfall. It was just stunning and honestly you didn't want to leave. Eventually we headed to our final stop at Cresent Lake. Just wow!! The lake had a bit of a moody feel, however, it was just beautiful and the hike through to get there was just insanely gorgeous and just magical. Words and pictures alone can't do this place justice. It's just something you have to EXPERIENCE!!! One of the other highlights was the trip back on the ferry. It offers up an impressive and unique view of the Seattle cityscape all lit up as you relax and reminisce on the day. Truly wish we had more time in Seattle, as I would without hesitation want to book all of the tours that Evergreen Escapes offer and I imagine each experience is unique depending on what time of year you go as well.
