We decided to repair so we didn't have to rush to choose a new phone. I paid a deposit for the battery, which came the next day. Katrina texted us promptly to let us know it arrived and my husband dropped off his phone a couple hours later. Katrina said it looked pretty bad and it might need more parts and it could be until Monday. But not even 2 hours later, she called us at home and said she was able to fix it. It was more work than she originally thought, yet she honored her original estimate. My husband doesn't give compliments lightly -- and he was very happy with his experience and wanted to make sure I shared it!

When I brought it here to CPR, they showed me that it was actually the screen protector and not the actual screen. They quoted me $25 for a new phone protector and offered to put it on for me right there. I was so grateful! When I asked if the other places would know that they said, "Of course, they were trying to take advantage of you!" I had been loyal ever since. The Bad: Fast forward to now (about 10 years later),... I hate to say it but I believe greed has gotten the best of them. I went there a few months ago to repair my iPad screen. It was $260! I went twice last week asking for a quote to submit to insurance both times they took down my information (on a "sticky note") and told me the owner would email or text me a quote within a day or two. I just had a feeling those sticky notes go directly in the trash. Here it is a week (& several follow ups) later and no one has contacted me or knows anything about my previous request(s). My advice,.. pretend you are interested in getting the repair asap, otherwise, I'm quite sure they just throw it in the trash.

LCDPS is the same company as www.avsuppliesdirect.com, which is also a scam to avoid. 2. The company received an "F" rating from the Better Business Bureau (the lowest possible BBB rating). 3. The California Attorney General is investigating complaints about the company. Original review 5/2/2012: I sent a projector to LCD Presentation Systems for repair. They charged me a $400 repair fee plus shipping costs. They did not complete the repair and did not return my projector. The Better Business Bureau made two attempts to contact lcdps on my behalf, but they never responded. Stay away from this "company." It's a SCAM.

A few things you need to know about Ramon BEFORE you do business…read more It is called Bait and Switch in my generation I was upgrading my five-year-old camera system at my house through Amazon First he comes out and gives you a bid to work at your house in my case he gave me a bid for $700-$800 to install 8 camera of 10 camera's in each camera had a maximum distance that we measured and had a max of 100 feet. It is a large house but the camera distance from NVR is the same as a 2700 sf house. I guess people with bigger houses pay more for the same work. Number two he then comes out and install the camera on my house drills a second hole and NOT where my old camera was so now I have two(2) holes with the cameras. If there was additional cost in removing cameras all he had to do is disclose that fact. Number three then AFTER he installs the camera and AFTER reviews the scope of work then Ramon comes in and tells me to do the entire job will be double the price approximately $1200-$1600 Why did he start the work and then AFTER it was started tells me it will double $1600. This should have been communicated earlier and before work started. To put icing on the cake he now wants to charge me $120. I will take pictures of the dangling wires that he wants $120 to install. Any pictures of an 'office' on this profile or discussions of parking lots are fictitious. He directly told me I couldn't enter his place of business because it was his home. 2. He has no insurance or other protection for your equipment. If he damages something, you will be left on the hook. Ask to see his business license, bond, and proof of insurance before you deal with him. 3. He is, at least lately, highly unstable. Supposedly this is due to some oral surgery mishap. I paid him to build a computer for me. It took him 6 weeks, supposedly due to the oral surgery issue. I asked several times for a refund of the money so I could just order one online from Dell. He was unable to because he'd already spent the money and the poor guy lives hand-to-mouth. When he delivered the system, it came without a license key. In his words, "I LOADED the operating system. I didn't say I would PAY for the operating system." If you go to Best Buy and order a computer "loaded with Windows 10", they aren't going to give you a machine without a license! Regardless, if that were the only issue, I'd probably give him 4 stars. However, in the months since I continue to get strange, ranting text messages from him alternately threatening to sue me for $1, then to begging me to let him fix the computer he built which is now dead. I took it to a legit shop and they were in shock, as he hadn't properly screwed the motherboard to the case. This is BASIC stuff. I had to get attorneys involved twice while dealing with him. The most recent time, he tried to claim that the PC I paid him to build for me was actually HIS property because he was the one with the receipts for the parts. Ramon might have been a great tech before his surgery mishap. However, since I first talked to him in November, there is no way I'd let this guy in my house. I'd urge you to do a criminal background check on him. I work in IT and I've never had someone air their dirty laundry in front of me. I had several fake flash programs removed and a browser redirect which didn't show up under the extensions of the Mac. Needless to say, was very happy my Mac computer is now clean and runs like now. Anytime we've had to get a tech on site to fix real problems or add work stations they have had well managed reliable schedules. Jeff is the tech we deal with mostly. He is unbelievably dedicated to making sure all of our problems are fixed and is great at bringing the conversation down to your personal level of understanding to diagnose the problem, explain the issue, resolution, and best practices to avoid future issues. I Definitely recommend them for setting up and managing a networked business office.
