My friend and I ordered Ganjang Gejang (raw soy marinated crab) in a large size which comes with 2 pieces. Pricing was on the higher end ($94) but the crabs were larger in size and had more meat compared to spots in LA. We also shared Buchu Minari Jun (chive and water parsley pancake) and our server notified us that it contains a mixture of seafood, which seemed misleading because it was not listed on the menu. The pancakes were crispy and bigger than expected, but honestly I'm not a fan of mussels so I would pass on this next time. The modern interior made the environment feel like a relaxed dining experience. It was a good dining experience but overall have mixed feelings. The food was good and moderately decent portions for two people, however the pricing is on the higher side.

Although this is not like the other Noodle St locations when it comes to seating/restaurant vibes, it services quite the same. With a open area where you can see all the passersby while you're dining in. My go to here is always their signature beef noodle soup. What I love is their consistency. Always not too salty but just the perfect amount of flavoring. Portions are generous as well which is always a plus. You get to customize your noodle style to your preference. My go to is always knife cut or standard, can't go wrong with either depending on what you like. Service is great, staff is quick, smooth, and very friendly. They're professional as well in a way where it's like a luxury restaurant, very well done to the staff. Overall, a great spot for Noodle St, and very consistent like all the other locations. Very delicious, and very much recommended to check out their spot. Also recommended to sign up via Toast to get points for dining in.

The parking lot is very spacious and big. Staff interaction is minimum. Customers primarily order at the self-service kiosk. Customers can input their cell number or wait for Staff to call out their receipt's number. I really appreciated how the self-service kiosk with print out paper receipts. My food took about seven minutes. As mentioned, I enjoyed the Beef Bulgogi Dumplings ($8.50 - 6 Pieces). It was fried perfectly, and the filling was satisfying & plump. Its interior reminded me of a lightly sweetened bulgogi sausage. It was prepared well. On ambiance, there's plenty of clean tables and comfortable seating. It's located inside the well-managed Blossom Market Hall, so I felt safe and comfortable as I dined. Overall, Manduyo (San Gabriel) is a good option. I left happy and satisfied. 4.7 out of 5

Omg I came here for dinner and it's now my favorite shabu shabu experience by far…read more I did not think it would be anything too different from the usual hotpot places, but the quality of the proteins took it over the top for me. As I sat down to meet with my friends, one told me to go and look at the station right by the door to watch the staff slice the protein we just ordered. To my pleasant surprise, there was a sign that read "Kagoshima Wagyu" and when I did my research, I found that it meant that the beef were raised in Kagoshima Prefecture in Japan. Once I saw the A5 wagyu platter come to the table, I understood the quality in question. The marbling was so beautiful. Then you pan over and look at the rest of the meats and see that they're also all so high quality. From USDA primes to Japanese pork belly to wagyu beef tongue, I felt so spoiled. Then they took it over the top and brought out our seafood platter which had the biggest spot prawns, abalone, mussels, and juicy scallops. I was amazed at the quality of presentation and overall care that was taken. From all the broths, the spicy tonkotsu stood out to me the most, so that's what I got while the rest of my table got sukiyaki! Mine came with a meat bone with ample amounts of meat still on it and all my friends' sukiyaki broths came with an egg to crack into their broths. I took my meat bone out and went at it like a little cave woman. It was great. They also have a $19 lunch special going at the moment, which doesn't come with seafood, but still would be so worth your visit because it comes with 4 choices of meats, a vegetable platter, a carb of your choice, and a drink.

Good but no wow, perhaps because I didnt opt for the a5 wagyu. Price is average across the different cuts, comparable to other local shabu places. A bit understaffed for a friday night, only one wait staff, but service was good nonetheless. Cant say I can give more than 3-stars, the meat cutter noise in the dining area was not it for me. There used to be several locations across Southern California, and I'm glad the Arcadia location is still here. Every visit brings back memories. I come for the Taiwanese classics that are becoming harder to find. The popcorn chicken is still one of my favorites--crispy, fragrant, and seasoned the way Taiwanese street vendors do it. The Taiwanese meatball soup is comforting, and the Taiwanese sausage always reminds me of night markets back home. What I appreciate most is that SinBala doesn't just serve street food. It brings those familiar flavors into a warm, home-style setting. It's nostalgic without trying too hard. Before you leave, save room for dessert. Their shaved ice is a must. I always recommend the brown sugar shaved ice topped with five mochi or boba. It's refreshing, not overly sweet, and the perfect ending to a meal. Taiwanese food is often overshadowed by other regional Chinese cuisines, but places like SinBala remind me how unique it really is. Simple, comforting, and full of character. I'm grateful this little piece of Taiwan is still here.

Their menu is pretty small and simple, all affordable as well, at around $12 per bowl. The service is relatively quick, as we ordered and sat down, waiting around 10 minutes for our noodles. We ordered the Mama noodles and the Signature Summer noodles. The Mama noodles are spicy and sour - they have a very strong vinegar taste and were a little too salty for me personally. Especially when you get to the bottom of the dish, the vinegar piles up and makes it too salty. There are vegetables in the Mama noodles, sliced cucumbers, carrots, and cabbage. The Signature Summer noodles had a more mild, sour taste, with sesame paste. Much more balanced flavor in my opinion. The tofu soaks up the sauce which is pretty tasty! It also has sliced cucumbers in it. Overall, pretty good Liang Pi place. Watch out for the vinegar taste in the Mama noodles if you are sensitive to overly sour/salty tastes. Pretty decently chewy and fresh noodles however. And conveniently located inside Duke Bakery as well!

Soonheene actually started in Seoul's famous Gwangjang Market where they were known for their pancakes, so I was excited to check it out. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by Esther (the owner) and her daughter. They both went out of their way to explain the menu and answer all my questions with genuine smiles. That kind of hospitality really sets the tone for a meal. We ordered the Pork Mungbean Pancake, Rose Tteokbokki (creamy rice cakes with fish cake and sausage), Bibim-Naengmyeon (spicy cold buckwheat noodles), and a whole fried chicken split into two flavors. Everything we ordered was delicious and tasty. For half the chicken, I went with the original but added green onion and their special oriental sauce drizzle. The other half was spicy soy garlic. I'll admit, I liked the original better. I second-guessed myself when the owner's daughter mentioned soy garlic was their number one most popular flavor followed by honey butter, but I thought I would be different and try the spicy version. The spice kind of drowned out that garlicky soy flavor, so lesson learned. Next time I am going straight for the soy garlic and honey butter combo. For drinks, we tried the Korean coffee and cold yuzu drink, both refreshing and a nice complement to the food. By the end of the meal, everything was so good that I even found myself asking about catering their chicken for future events. The vibe inside is really comfortable with soft K-pop playing in the background. It is just enough for atmosphere but not too loud, so you can talk easily. The only tricky part is parking since it is in a busy plaza with a lot of other restaurants, but at least it is free. Overall, this was one of the most unique dining experiences we have had recently, made extra special by Esther and her daughter's hospitality. I love supporting family-owned spots like this, and I will definitely be back to try that famous soy garlic and honey butter chicken next time.
