I had a very good experience at Manduyo (San Gabriel). I ordered the Beef Bulgogi Dumplings ($8.50 - 6 Pieces). It came with a crisp shell and juicy filling. As I bit into each dumpling, juices dribbled down my lip. The filling tasted sweet & savory. YUM! I arrived at Manduyo (San Gabriel) on a Tuesday (around 6:54PM). Parking is very easy. The parking lot is very spacious and big. Staff interaction is minimum. Customers primarily order at the self-service kiosk. Customers can input their cell number or wait for Staff to call out their receipt's number. I really appreciated how the self-service kiosk with print out paper receipts. My food took about seven minutes. As mentioned, I enjoyed the Beef Bulgogi Dumplings ($8.50 - 6 Pieces). It was fried perfectly, and the filling was satisfying & plump. Its interior reminded me of a lightly sweetened bulgogi sausage. It was prepared well. On ambiance, there's plenty of clean tables and comfortable seating. It's located inside the well-managed Blossom Market Hall, so I felt safe and comfortable as I dined. Overall, Manduyo (San Gabriel) is a good option. Manduyo is located inside of Blossom Market Hall. I got their dumpling bowl, and it was pretty good! The dumplings themselves were good, but nothing special. However, i loved the soy sauce that they used! They said it was house made, I'm not totally sure what that means, but it was sweet and tangy and delicious. For me, the dumpling bowl was more of a large snack than a meal. I did go back in to try out another one of the food stalls. The price does seem to follow the portion size, around half the cost of a full meal. I would definitely get it again if I wasn't super hungry or wanted to try out a few places inside of the market. read more

I tried them when they first opened and they were delicious then. Several years later i'm glad to see they're still as good as ever ! You can easily self order at the window and they'll call your order out relatively quickly. The only reason i'm not rating it a full 5 stars is that I remember they used to serve kimchi with the plates without an extra charge. I understand times are tough. For those of you unfamiliar, a Dosirak is a traditional Korean packaged meal with rice, banchan, protein, and an egg, similar to a bento box with different compartments for various foods. We ordered the Angus Beef Galbi (Short Rib) Dosirak ($29.99), which included nine pieces of short ribs, white rice, salad, japchae, four sides, and one mandu. Our Dosirak included mac salad, kimchi, house salad, and japchae. While it's on the pricier side considering the portion size, the food is high-quality and delicious. I hesitated a bit at the price since my son chose it for his lunch, and it's a lot of money for a child's meal. I knew he wouldn't finish it or want everything, especially the spicy items. We all loved the galbi and would order it again, price aside. The Dosirak was packaged perfectly, and each compartment was delicious, complementing the galbi perfectly. Manduyo was our last vendor of the day at Blossom Market Hall (BMH) at San Gabriel Mission District. My eldest daughter and I were here for a food hall adventure. Behind the food hall has free parking. Seating available inside and outside patio. Free wifi. Restrooms near front entrance. Ordering was very easy at the kiosk. Simple menu with various options such as Premium Korean Dosirak Box, Authentic Rice Bowl, Our Famous Mandu (Dumpling), Extra, Beverage, and Salad. I just wanted something small since I had already eaten and bought from other vendors. Pork dumplings were perfect so I got an order of 6. They were quite flavorful and well seasoned. However, I thought they was on the smaller side. Their beverage looked good so I couldn't resist and got the peach mango lemonade. So glad I got the drink because it was very refreshing and delightful. Lady staff was friendly and smiley. Service was quick. Overall experience was nice. As part of the Blossom Market hall right next to the back entrance, this place serves Korean dishes in cute paper boxes. We wanted to try the dish with a fun name: Insane Tteokgalbi You can order with the staff at the counter or at their touchscreen kiosk. We got a device that will vibrate once the meal is ready. Once we got the dish, it was in two boxes, the hot meal in one and the salad in the other with a small container of sauce. The dish comes with minced beef (which I was surprised given the name, I assumed it will come with galbi?), kimchi, pickled spicy radish (one slice), melted mozzarella cheese, with rice underneath and a fried egg on top. The salad is a mixed green lettuce with a nice vinaigrette with some crunchy bites on top. The melted cheese had a such a nice cheese pull! The beef was flavorful, it mixes well with the rice and the fried egg was cooked with the yolk a bit runny making the rice more delicious when mixed in. The salad was good, a nice refreshing and light side dish. Overall it was a decent meal! I think they patched a word on the menu after "beef" to correct that they are using minced beef now instead. read more

As for the sauce, I opted for the non-spicy sauce which was the soy glaze sauce. Overall, it was tasty but I would prefer the rice cake not mixed with my dish - but this fusion style dish after all. I ordered a k-ramen combo ($16 + $2 egg) which came with a box of mandu/dumpling and pickle radish. It was upsetting that the ramen was basically instant noodle with 3 added rice cakes and no other modification. The pork dumpling was presented on a bed of salad, but it tasted very ordinary. I was also not too fond of the dumpling's texture, it's just doughier compared to the ones I usually have (steamed or pan fried). I wouldn't say I am too satisfied with the food quality for the price. The service was fine, they provide a buzzer to notify you when the food is done. We love Manduyo! We come all the way from the San Fernando Valley to have some of our favorite Manduyo meals. We found this place last September and have gone here 3x now so far. We've also recommended Manduyo to all our social circles and they too have said the food is delicious and the quality is excellent along with great customer service. I've been following Manduyo since they were at Smorgasburg in LA and really enjoyed their colorful round mandu and flying noodles. I was happy to see that they opened in Blossom Market Hall but was a bit disappointed they no longer served the colorful mandu that was so iconic. I tried the mandu they serve here, and it's good in terms of both texture and flavor, especially when paired with the dipping sauce, though the skin is less crispy than the colorful ones they used to serve. I tried their signature tteokgalbi plate, and it's one of the most unique Korean dishes I've had. The ground beef that's mashed together is really tender and flavorful. I eat it like a bibimbap by mixing in the sauce, rice, greens and fried egg. Really loved how the greens are so fresh. I also tasted their pork belly plate as well, which was also very impressive. The pork belly was top quality as it was really thick and tender. I could tell they marinated the meat for a long time because of the deep smoky flavor they achieved.
