One of the best AYCE KBBQ spots in the area. Well priced and quality meats. We went with the premium meats for $40 pp and were very happy with the quality and variety of meat options. Tough to find KBBQ spots with both quality & quantity and glad that this place delivered! Excellent selection of sides too. Service was excellent, wait staff were constantly checking in to see if we needed to order more items or change grills. Good assortment of ban chan too. Loved the interior of the restaurant as well, ample seating, good lighting and well ventilated. Would love if dessert was offered here to make it a 5/5! Hope to see this spot continue with the great meat quality as business continues!

Service, food, ambiance. TK92 Korean BBQ killed it. 5 stars for a fun dining experience! The meat selection was pretty impressive. Appreciated that there were full steaks as an option in the basic package. The chimichurri sauce, omg. The steamed egg, spicy ramen and spicy tofu complemented each bite. Great quality overall. The decor was nostalgic, the music was upbeat and the seating was clean. Servers were smiley and helpful!

How is it possible to have AYCE boneless short rib at a KBBQ?! Crazy but i was instantly sold! The interior is super fun Gundam-themed, which makes it feel different from your typical spot. We went on a Saturday night and waited a little under an hour since they only take reservations for parties of 6+. Luckily, there's an arcade area, bar, and photo booth to keep you entertained. The servers were friendly and efficient, and the meats came out fast every time. We got the $40 premium set and the special galbi was my favorite! Only thing I noticed was we weren't offered a grill change, but the grill stayed pretty clean and didn't burn fast so it wasn't a big deal. Overall, definitely worth the wait and we'd come back again.

I'm not a 626 native, but my friend who is took us here and wow- what a unique restaurant! As soon as you walk in, you're greeted with an old video games/comics vibe with a recurring blue robot character decorated all around the interior, which was so cool to look at. There were also claw machines, a photobooth, arcade games, and a foosball table. A fun addition to this game-like ambience was the opportunity to win a free meal if you managed to press a button at exactly 0.92 second (you only get 1 try though). We opted for the deluxe tier and for the price you pay, you get a LOT of food options, which I think is worth the value. We ordered LA galbi, steak, beef belly, beef brisket, pork belly, rib fingers, bulgogi, steamed egg, scallion pancake, and corn cheese. I thought the belly and brisket were too dry for my liking, and no matter how much sauce I submerged these meats in, the dryness prevailed. I did like the thicker cut meats though, as they didn't dry out and were more flavorful. The side dishes were unlimited (yay!). I'm curious to know if the premium meats make a huge difference in terms of quality and taste. Service was very attentive and friendly. I'm not sure what communication system they use (they all seem to have ear pieces), but for how all the tables are set up and hard to easily access as servers, they are super fast and constantly check up to make sure you have everything you need. Overall, I'm impressed with the ambience, service, and price point. I would come here again if I was in the area and wanted AYCE without having to totally break the bank for decent meats.

THIS IS HANDS DOWN THE BEST KBBQ IN THE 626!! I was so impressed with how good the service was here. The servers were SO attentative and were checking in on us very often. Shout out to Eric as well for always checking in on us and offering some suggestions for meats and other foods to order. I loved the ambiance of the restaurant and love the decor on the walls. I will 100% be back.

So this is an updated review because I was pescatarian for 5 years and just started eating meat again! This was my first Korean bbq in the states this year!! And they just changed their menu! Now I haven't been here in awhile but the quality is still so good! Lots of dishes, meats and diversity you can order!! I came on Halloween and the staff was all dressed up as someone bald! Our server David was really nice! He was gru!!! And all the other coworkers were very helpful, very collaborative and speedy service. We would order our meet and it would come within 2 minutes. It was fairly busy too! We loved the tk92 galbi!! Which is in the premium menu. It's 40 bucks per person that's not bad at all! We also enjoyed all their marinated meats (usually I don't but it was good nice quality) and I love how frequently they change their grill! I didn't think it was too too sweet I enjoyed it with their chimichuri sauce or regular sesame oil and salt! Oh and the bulldak noodles and ramen hit the spot!!! Scallion pancake is too oily, also the corn cheese comes in a tiny metal container... it was inconvenient to eat but probably easier to clean! Thanks for a wonderful time once again! Our group of 4 drank soju, beer and really enjoyed ourselves! I will definitely be back!

It's good for AYCE kbbq in the SGV area but it's really mediocre overall. Meat was ok but marinade is SUPER sweet. Price wise there's only a $3 difference between regular and premium which is really nice for getting better cuts without a crazy markup. Parking is easy too since there's an underground lot. Taste wise though...the marinades are VERYYYY sweet like sickly sweet, would not recommend. The brisket was also hit or miss. The first round was great and we ordered another and it turned out more dry and chewy. Meat wise nothing was very wow or memorable it was just ok. The appetizers are good though! Steamed egg is nice and fluffy and there's Buldak fire noodles and spicy (maybe shin?) ramen too. The banchan and salad wasn't good, but they do have radish wraps and rice paper. For sauces, we asked for soybean paste and salt+sesame oil to dip. They also give you garlic and jalapeños upon request. It was good for kbbq in this area if you're craving it just so you don't have to drive far .... But if you want a really good meal I'd rather just commit to driving further for good food at around this price point.

This is hands down one of my go-to KBBQ spots in SoCal! The quality of the meat is always solid, service is consistent, and I've noticed most people share the same experience here. Location & Parking TK92 is tucked inside Life Plaza Center on Valley Blvd (west of Del Mar Ave). If you're pulling in, the restaurant is on the bottom left corner of the first floor. Parking can be a little tricky--there's a tiny upper lot with maybe 10-15 spots, but most of the time you'll end up in the underground structure. Heads up: once you're underground, say goodbye to your phone signal. The Setup Walking in, you go down a hallway that passes an arcade (yes, random but fun) and leads to a waiting area with sofas and chairs. There's even a sit-down bar in that area, but it's hardly used nowadays. Once you step in further, the counter is on your left and that's where you'll get greeted. ‍ Service & Food Servers are attentive and actually check in throughout the meal, which I really appreciate. The meat quality is legit, and they have different menu tiers depending on what you want to spend. Honestly, the basic level works just fine for me--it's still tasty and filling. Overall TK92 is a spot I always come back to because they deliver the same good service and food every time. If you're craving KBBQ and want a reliable choice in the area, I'd definitely recommend checking this place out.

Got the deluxe BBQ option. Lots of yummy side dishes. The standout items for me were the steamed egg, steak and the beef belly. The marinated kalbi was also good. I've definitely had better brisket elsewhere and the rib fingers were tough to chew so don't think I'll get that next time. The service was great, servers were very attentive and frequently come to check to ask if you want to order more food. One thing is I wish they had the option for metal spoons. They only have plastic spoons when they are serving boiling foods in hot pots like the tofu soup soups and steamed eggs.

Ask the Community - TK92 Korean BBQ

Do they still have dry aged steak?

    Unfortunately no

    Do they take reservations?

Yes but only for parties 6 or more on Weekends

Are there free refill on the sodas?

Nope, they only have canned soda.

When is last seating and last call?

There business hour 4PM ~ 11PM enjoy your meal .

Are the AYCE items still dry aged?

Are the AYCE meats different quality cuts from the combo/a la carte orders?

We went on Saturday night and was told that it is the same cuts of meats as the combos.

    Is outdoor dining still available?

No there is no outdoor seating

    Is there rice paper?

Hello, yes, they have rice paper!

Is TK92 AYCE? If not please remove them from ayce searches its confusing?

They are back to an AYCE menu!

Is the price for combos, per person or small for maybe 2 people and large for a bigger group?

Small premium beef combo is $90, ideal for 2 people. Large is $140, for about 4 people, super expensive. Check out my review for this place, the price is not worth it.

Is it all you can eat now?

It's not, overpriced and not worth it imo. At that price point go to Baekjong.

    Is there still outdoor seating?

There was no outdoor dining when I went last month.

Hi is this place all u can eat? If so what are the prices. Thank you

It currently isn't all you can eat. It used to be. May return soon it's al la carte but portion can feed 2 + people and you get your money's worth. They have combos for larger parties of 6-8 as well.

Do they take tables for just one person or does it have to be two or more?

You can get a table for one.

The family set is for how many people?

varies, on how much you eat, i had four people, about 50 bucks each after tax tip

Any word on when TK92 will resume AYCE? My friends and I have not visited since the last time they were AYCE. Thanks.

No official word yet. But I would assume when restaurants fully open to 100% capacity. This al la carte method saves them time and money because they can flip tables faster. I'll ask next time I'm there.

Does this place take reservations if not how packed does it usually get?

They do not take reservations. Outside seating has around 7-9 tables. Inside seating opens after 5pm on weekdays at least when I went. Expect a 1-3 hour wait weekends depending on what time you go. It's not ayce.

Do you think you'll go back to AYCE in June 2021 when we fully reopen?

    Currently still no AYCE

I ordered on my phone and the food came out pretty quick! They also had an appetizer bar which was rly nice. There was a variety of apps such as mapo tofu, seaweed, cripsy chips, and desserts such a fruit and jelly. Idk where they bought their oranges but it was SO SWEET I literally ate all that was left at the bar lol. Skewers Tofu wrapped enoki mushroom 10/10! Super flavorful and delicious. The tofu skin was undercooked like how other skewer places have it. Beef 8/10: typical beef skewers that had good labor too Chicken skin 7/10: not my fave since it was a bit too crispy for me but it may be someone else's cup of tea! Beef tongue 8/10: small amount given but it was the perfect chew. I would def order this again! Fried rice 8.5/10: this rly helped balance all the flavors of the skewers. I was surprised that it wasn't so bland. I would def order this again if I came back for a palate cleanse. Cheese corn 9/10: super creamy, sweet and delicious. It felt a bit odd given we arrived about an hour and three minutes before closing, but considering they stay open until 2am, it's understandable they have to draw the line somewhere. That aside, the food was absolutely delicious. Every skewer came out hot and packed with flavor, and you could tell everything was cooked with care. The standout dishes were definitely the grilled scallops with vermicelli and the grilled oysters. Both were smothered in an incredible garlic sauce with tons of rich, aromatic flavor. The scallops and oysters were cooked perfectly and easily the highlight of the meal. Most of the skewers were spot on in terms of texture and doneness. The only miss was the potato skewers. They tasted great, but the texture was a bit off since they came out floppy instead of crispy. Overall, this is still the best skewer spot I've been to. Great flavors, solid execution, and definitely worth coming back for.
