My friend's cousin ordered us some Filipino breakfast from here after being at the BTS concert the night before. Filipino breakfast the next morning was definitely a treat and a cure! We ordered a Tapsilog, Longsilog, and Tocilog since there were 3 of us but we ended up eating it like family style. Even though my friend's cousin ordered this through Uber Eats, the food still arrived hot and ready! All the silogs were so tasty that it brought me back to when my parents would cook it. It's hard to say which one was my favorite dish out of the 3 because they all just tasted SOO GOOD!

Soo good is soo good!!!! We will be coming back! It's a small place with some parking shared with other businesses. They have some food ready to dish out in the warmers, like my pork bbq skewer, and some other dishes they make fresh. My boyfriend had the lechon silog which came with delicious big portion of garlic fried rice and fried egg on top. I was drawn to the bbq pork skewers and ordered those with egg and garlic rice - super yummy! I also ordered a calamansi juice and the veggies on the side, which were both refreshing! Highly recommend this place for those who love garlic rice and eggs in the morning and are missing good, home style, comforting Filipino food!

Parking lot shared with several businesses, during our lunch time visit, looked full, but we found a space! Had a wonderful experience. Clean, and quaint restaurant. In the Filipino culture to choose from the hot food section it's called "point point". Customer service very friendly. -Lechon kawali cooked perfect, fresh, not rubbery. -Longanisa not greasy, not too bold, just right. -Dinuguan was on point! -garlic rice was tasty -pork menudo also perfect -beef kaldereta -meat soft, stewed perfect, great flavor -good pancit This place had a solid food selection, all items we ordered were tasty , just the way grandma makes it!

Literally in the name! The food is soooo good. The price is a bit steep so definitely won't be coming here a ton but I love Filipino food and this was top tier.

The food was really good I did order the bangus sisig and both of my friend ordered the tokwa't baboy. I tried a bit of the tokwa't baboy but I ended up liking it better than what I ordered. The pork was so crispy and tasty. If you like or you eat pork I do recommend trying it. Also, their Turon is to die for. One thing I didn't like was the rice, poor quality of the rice. Service was okay. Place was too cold tho they kept the door open when it was too cold outside and the place is a bit small but we were lucky it wasn't too busy when we got there. Prices are reasonable.

If there's one thing you can always count on at Soo Good Lutong Pinoy, it's the fact that their food is always delicious! Everything's freshly made, super generous, and packed with flavor. Honestly, I've never had a bad meal here. It's become our Saturday tradition to swing by after an early tee time at Los Feliz. My go-to? The Dasilog--it's perfection on a plate. A generous helping of garlic fried rice, a beautifully fried daing na bangus (milkfish), and all the breakfast vibes you could ask for (more vinegar with garlic please). My brother? He's a Tuyo-Silog loyalist (his PCP won't be happy lol). And my best friend? It's a toss-up between the Tinapa, Tapa or Corned Beef (He's like boy Tsinelas - he always flip-flop... get it?. LOL). Oh, and we always order an extra dish to share, usually Menudo or Adobo because... why not? Soo Good nailed the name--it's legit. The restaurant itself is cozy and spotless. There are two bigger tables for small groups and one smaller table for couples, so seating is a bit limited. But judging by the hustle of UberEats, Grab, and Postmates drivers zipping in and out, their delivery game is strong. It's like watching a perfectly choreographed foodie ballet. Service is quick--unless, of course, you're stuck behind someone who can't decide what to order (which, honestly, is understandable with this menu). They even have an ordering kiosk that no one ever seem to use. Poor thing, it's like a lonely orphan child just waiting to be loved LMAO All in all, we're big fans! Great food, friendly service with a smile, and a warm, homey vibe. What more could you ask for?

This place may be a little hole in the wall, but the food and the hospitality make it shine. We ordered the tapsilog, and the serving was generous and tasty. The owner was incredibly kind--she even offered soup to my little boy (he kindly declined), then offered some to my "bigger baby," my lady. I also noticed how thoughtful she was with the DoorDash drivers, offering them coffee while they waited for orders. Owners like her are the heart of small businesses--the foundation of great customer service and lasting reputation. Thank you for such a warm and genuine experience!

I didn't expect to amount of food I would receive when I stopped by this place. It was late morning, and when I stopped in, the worker said they were still serving breakfast. I ended up ordering the Dasilog breakfast, with garlic rice and 2 eggs. When my food arrived, I was surprised with how large their servings were. The rice was fantastic, the beef was soft and tender. Typical Filipino breakfast with eggs on top of the rice. The restaurant had a small and cozy eating area, and it was at a good time where the place wasn't too crowded. I will have to come back and try some of their lunch combination plates.

Solid 3.5 I really wanted to like this place but the prices are inflated usually, for $14 you can get 2 entrées and rice but this is just the price for breakfast. For an extra $1 you can get a lunch combo which is substantially more bang for your buck. Consider other options for breakfast but the lunch items look yummy. 7am is too early to have lunch items out that long. Unless, they have a ton of customers that order lunch items for breakfast. The fried fish and eggs were typical but I was surprised that the garlic fried rice had crunchy pieces. Ok ok, I know its fried and it should be crunchy but it tasted as tho some of the rice didn't fully cook, like when one doesn't add enough rice, the top part is a bit dry and undercooked.

    Crispy pata (pork) soo good!

The best food when it comes to Filipino cravings and also the best when bringing food to get-togethers! So much variety that we couldn't decide on only a few different choices! Our favorites are as photographed: sisig (the best!! And has a kick to it), lechon kawali, kare kare, and of course pancit! The owners and workers are always super nice to us! It's so easy placing an order ahead and picking up. Parking is super easy too, which is a big plus. The good food, great service, and wonderful owners keep us coming back. Glendale is so blessed to have this place!

We stopped at Camarillo Outlets to try and kill time since our Air B&B is not ready until late afternoon. I looked to see if there are any Filipino food spots in the area and I found Lola Betty's. We ordered the short rib plate and the Tasilog plate and lumpia Shanghai- washed it down with Calamansi juice. Everything was delicious, 10/10. The owner came out to check on us and she was so kind, hospitable and shared some history with us on how Lola Betty's came to be. From food truck to walk up, she said that some people really preferred or hoped for a sit down restaurant. I don't have a preference. I only love the soul and passion that is poured into one's food. Love, soul and passion can be found here. The owner says, "I just really wanted a place where you can really be attentive and really take the time to cook the food the way it should be made". The pricing is fair, portions are generous, and overall the food was good. As a fellow Filipino, I would love to see a little more variety on the menu since it currently focuses on the basics. The only dish I wasn't a huge fan of was the Tapsilog, as the meat was a bit salty for my taste. The Longsilog was much better, and I loved that they included a small puto (rice cake) with the meal. Overall, a great experience and worth a visit.

There were some dry bits though. This also paired well with the chicken oil and dark sauce. -Adobo Rice: My friends really liked this one. The rice was fluffy and flavorful. I liked the additions of the fried pork adobo pieces on top but the sauce they were coated in was a bit too salty. The interior is colorful and cozy. It's in quite a busy area and parking can be a little bit tricky but it's totally worth the stop. However, it is a very small place so seating is limited, and definitely don't plan on bringing a large group because it's cramped as it is, and no outdoor seating available. We came about an hour before closing on Friday, so luckily it wasn't crazy busy but they only have one lower regular height table, which is actually a handicap designated table, so the higher bar seating isn't super ideal for kids or elderly. Other than that if you want to just do takeout, I saw a lot of people doing that. It was hard to make a choice here because of all the delicious things on the menu, but we were super happy with what we got. The lechon sisig was the perfect amount of heat, and loved the poached egg added on top, definitely worth the extra cost. We also got the longsilog, which was a delicious plate of food. We also tried the hiramasa collar, which was really good. I believe it was marinated in a soy sauce-based mixture. It was a little salty for my taste, but still enjoyable. But the highlight for me was definitely the Lucenachon! It had such a unique take on lechon and was incredibly juicy and tender. I especially loved the marinade--it gave the meat so much flavor. Overall, I would definitely come back and try more dishes! P.S. Just a heads-up: street parking only.

Nestled in the sauce were vibrant, perfectly cooked vegetables: tender bok choy, slightly charred green beans, and slices of eggplant that had soaked up all the savory depth of the stew. At the heart of the dish lay generous chunks of beef -- fork-tender, deeply flavored, with just enough fat to melt into the sauce and give it that rich, silky mouthfeel Kare Kare is known for. Sprinkled over the top were crunchy bits, adding a satisfying contrast to every spoonful. Of course, the small side of bagoong (fermented shrimp paste) was essential -- a modest dollop transformed each bite, balancing the sweetness and creaminess of the peanut sauce with a punch of briny intensity. Paired with steaming garlic rice, every scoop felt like the perfect blend of textures and flavors, a true homage to the Filipino classic. Eating Spoon & Pork's Kare Kare felt both nostalgic and elevated -- the heart and soul of a traditional comfort food presented with an eye for freshness and balance. It's the kind of dish that makes you slow down, savor each bite, and immediately start planning your next visit.

Spoon & Pork, which originated as a food truck, was a restaurant that specialized in Filipino comfort food with a contemporary twist. They offered a fresh, inventive fusion of the flavours of the Philippines with modern sophistication. No private lot on this busy street, so finding nearby parking was a bit challenging and although the charming spot offered both indoor and al fresco dining, seating was also limited. The tropical-inspired dining room with warm wood accents created an effortlessly cool and relaxed atmosphere that felt both modern and rooted in tradition. Upon entry, guests were welcomed by the aroma of sizzling meats and fragrant spices which alluded to the culinary journeys to come. The food at Spoon & Pork wasn't exactly what one's nanay (mom) or lola (grandma) would cook. Celebrating fresh takes on the richness of Filipino cuisine, the menu was an invitation to indulge in unexpected, compelling twists on a thoughtfully curated selection of traditional dishes, infusing familiar flavours into new forms. Below are what we ordered: beef tapa ($25) - MASARAP (DELICIOUS)! Of all the dishes that we ordered, this was the winner of them all as the succulent meat packed a punch of flavour. adobo tofu ($14) - One of Wendell's regular orders, this notable plant-based option, was a tasty, innovative take on the Philippine classic that balanced tradition with modern creativity. laing ($9) - From their platito, small plates section, this bowl of coconut braised taro leaves was rich and creamy deliciousness, but, yes, mini in portion size. garlic rice ($4/$7) - Ordering the garlic rice over plain jasmine rice was a no brainer. Thoroughly infused with the savouriness of the many bits of garlic, this rice perfectly paired with all of the other dishes. bistek ($28) - The skirt steak was very tender and the sauce perfectly balanced the tanginess from the calamansi juice with the savoury soy sauce. lechon kawali ($23) - Another reimagined classic dish featuring crispy, golden pork belly with crunchy skin and tender, flavourful meat inside. The dish was complemented by a tangy, pickled red cabbage that enhanced the crispy texture and added a refreshing contrast. This mastery of flavour and texture tickled Z's tastebuds and won him over. Before this day, Z was never a fan of Filipino food. Everything tasted boldly rich and every bit intensely intoxicated our taste buds. Service was quick, friendly, and attentive. What a remarkably epicurean feast and delightful experience we enjoyed! We're super bummed that Spoon & Pork permanently closed shoppe. Z and I were hoping to return for another tasty meal. Truly, a worthy spot this place was to hit up for an impressively creative taste of the Philippines in Los Angeles.
