When Dante wrote The Purgatorio he failed to include a section about this Sonora Quest location,…read morebut surely he intended to add it to later editions. You will be greeted by a room full of people, a closed reception window (opaque with lowered blast-shield), and a greasy iPad on a wobbling stand. You can enter your name and it will appear on a large, wall-mounted TV. Your name will sit there, unmoving, for hours, just like all the people in the waiting room. You will wait for so long that you can see gravity working on the people, crushing them into puddles of despair--despair so deep that smartphones cannot save them. Sometimes new people will arrive in the the waiting room, add their finger-grease to the iPad, and their names will appear in front of yours. They made appointments, and even the appointments are massively delayed. You will wait longer. Perhaps until tomorrow. A sad old woman paws at the closed door to the lab, saying that she forgot her car keys inside during her appointment. Nobody inside hears her and she knocks and scrabbles for ten minutes before the door opens, coincidentally, to finally admit someone. The old woman and the patient enter, tearfully overjoyed. Their suffering shall finally end. For those in the waiting room, another hour.

Checked in via my phone (you can also use a QR code they send you at either of the 2 kiosks inside). Brought my orders from the Dr which they asked to see and was called in before my appointment time because I came early. I always fight with the phlebotomists. I need a butterfly needle in my hand. End of story. This lovely lady didn't even question it. Easy peasy. In and out. She used my hand, the blood flowed and now I won't be fearful next time I have to come here.

It is a little nerve wracking when you see all these constantly bad reviews for Labcorp... But I…read morehave had to go several times, and have never once had an issue. YES. They are severely backed up, long appointment times, Wilmot was understaffed and had to close til the end of the year... which makes this location even busier. Plan to be flexible. I could not get an appointment for 2 weeks, so decided to be brave and just walk in.... I checked in with the kiosk, it said currently there is a 3 hour wait, but I could come back at that time for an appointment. So I did that. Came back, 3 hours later... it was a lot more busy, couldn't even find parking. Checked in, wasn't seen for 30 minutes, so yes, much longer wait times than there used to be. But it was expected, and leaving a bad review when you already know there are issues doesn't help anyone. People are tired of waiting, I assume, some, have no where else to go, and ended up just waiting the long times... they go to the front desk and are very rude. While waiting at least 3 ppl were rude to front desk employee... yet, she forced that smile and tried to tell everyone she appreciated them. People don't listen, or they don't know you need to check in first with kiosk, come in and are just unfriendly and rude when asked to check in first and take a seat. Try to do better Tucson community.

He's rushing out door towards me Asking if I am or was sick? Yes I was in the hospital is that considered sick ? Once allowed inside Im given papers stating the high cost of service making clear I'm responsible to pay big bucks for services & if I damage equipment ? Con I called before scheduling appointment and asked is this service covered by my insurance ? Told yes but on arrival told by same person on phone they don't know if covers by insurance very vague response con ? Unassuming lack of confidence? Upon agreeing to expensive service with no assurance covers by insurance asked do I want to stand outside for 15-20 min to be briefed on testing ? or who inside ? With strangers closely coming and going in same space I asked how big is the room ? " a little bigger than a coat closet I was told?" Ok reluctantly went to a large very large room obviously they don't want to be there with patients! Con Lastly look at all the cute holiday decorations over the top" comfortable in their own space having holiday spirit yet no tome to confirm my insurance coverage & cost & not wanting to professionally advise me in their " coat closet sized room" " again was not but large Please consider any and all options? Thank you for your service" I understand it's historically challenging times during pandemic & more , but couldn't you be a little more professional and patient friendly? To reconsider ? On April 6th I received the bill for the scan, I owe $459.94 I called the billing office and asked if there was some way they could help me with the amount or with paying my bill, they informed me that they gave Blue Cross a discount so they could not help me. They told me that if I don't pay the entire amount by the due date they will charge me 1% interest on the balance and will turn me over to a collection agency. Is this how a person who is already dealing with a bad situation should be treated. I will never go to them again for any services. Mel
