I have had several procedures done at this site in the past, which mostly have been positive experiences. However, today's annual mammogram was very different. It was terrible. I have had many mammograms in the past and none were as painful and horrible as this one. The techician pushed and pulled my breast, chest, and arms in such a way that I felt serious pain. When I told her that the experience was awful, things got even worse. She kept rushing and did not take the time to tell me what to expect, but instead just kept pulling at my breast and shoving my ribs into the mammogram machine. It was a brutal experience. I will seek out a different facility for future mammograms. read more

they told me to drink 32 oz of water for my ultrasound and I could not use the bathroom because they needed my bladder full. I go there prepared and I have to wait an HOUR for registration. by then, I'm about to go on the floor. I really had to go and they still hadn't called me in for registration. so I tell the front desk that they better get me in now because I had to GO. they rushed to get me in. the tech who did my ultrasound was the WORST I've ever experienced in my life. I told her I really had to go and we go to the room and she said "there's the bathroom" I asked, for what? she said you said you needed to go right? I said yoi told me to drink 32 oz, I did that so don't you need my bladder full for the ultrasound? she said go! I said, but I need it for this ultrasound.... she rolls her eyes at me and said she said there are ways she can do it. I use the restroom and I come out and I ask so did I not have to drink 32 oz? she just said I had to go so i would have went. then I told her I waited out there for an hour. and she's said that's registration for ya. she asks me my DOB AND Name to confirm, hard to hear because music was playing on a portable radio loudly and I didn't understand her next question. I said I'm sorry did you ask how many children I have? she said "how many births have you had is what I asked you" is the rudest tone. she also had her phone out texting. all the while with my insurance I paid $800 for that service. it's unacceptable and she should not be working there read more

I always have a very positive and pleasant experience there. The staff is personable and professional. Wait times are not bad, sometimes you get in early. Clean. I would recommend them for an MRI, or other radiology, uh items. read more

I went to NW imaging for a follow up CT scan. The men and women were professional but compassionate and friendly. I was taken back to have the scan done, the tech explaining everything to me. Took about 20min and an hour later, I had the results. Waiting room was clean and spacious. Wait time 20 min or so. As a retired nurse and a stroke and cancer survivor, I highly recommend NW imaging. LONG WAIT TIMES AND MEAN GUARD AT THE DOOR: The female guard standing out front has a horrible manner. I understand we have to take precautions, and so she stands outside and questions everyone who appears at the door. But her manner is absolutely unacceptable! For one thing, it feels like an interrogation rather than simple questioning. She is just plain unpleasant and makes people feel uncomfortable. But worse than that, after we discussed whether it would be good for me to wait the hour (they only do walk-ins) or come back later, I finally said to her, "Okay, I'll wait." I went back to my car, where everyone else was sitting in their cars waiting. But she never told me I needed to go inside to check in! She allowed me to sit there, right in front of her, for over an hour! When I got out of the car and asked her how much longer the wait would be, she said I had to go inside to check in. SHE SHOULD HAVE TOLD ME THAT WHEN I TOLD HER I'D WAIT THE HOUR! This completely disrupted my day, and I went to another imagining center that DOES take you by appointment, so no wait time. Plus, the guard at the door was totally pleasant. I'll never go back to this place. read more

I have been here twice in one week. The 1st time was for an u/s of my leg to r/o clot. The girl who called me up to the window was condescending and not helpful at all. She informed me my appt was made for the next day when my Dr had just called to work me in and my paperwork stated same day. The next week I went in for a ankle /foot x ray. The tech was extremely short and rude. I told her I could not bend my leg or foot the distance she wanted... Well she made sure it got bent After the test she excused me with a flick of her hand. It was more important to get back to gossiping with the young man that was hanging around. Unbelievable.... Back to radiology Ltd for this lady. read more

I needed an ultrasound done on my kidneys, so after leaving my Drs office, I walked across the parking lot to NW Imaging, thinking I might get it done the same day. No such luck but she was able to get me in at the imaging center on 5th & Craycroft in about 4 days. She advised me that I would need to drink 32-40 oz of water. So I get there earlier and the girl be hind th counter asks me if I drank the water and I replied yes. Then sh asks if I've been fasting for 8 hours . I told her that I wasn't advised to fast. I was also not supposed to smoke 8 hours before. I was pissed What a waste of time for everyone! So I rescheduled it for 6 days later. I now have 2 appts on the same day . This could have been prevented if the girl at NW would have taken the time to print out the instructions. She should be placed back in a training class. read more

I always go here for a mammogram even though I can get one for free at work in the mobile mammogram. If you do the mobile one you have to wait a long time for the results. I had an abnormal one in which I had to go to Northwest imaging for a follow up. They were able to tell me while I was still there that I am fine. From then on I have gone to Northwest. The technician can tell if the image isn't good enough and she will keep doing it until it's right. If anything is weird she has someone look at it and recommend what to do while you're waiting. This is so much better than waiting weeks for results and then rescheduling for another appointment. read more

the staff is rude. I arrived on time and was told I was late and would have to wait an hour -- scolded me like I was a high school kid loud enough for the entire waiting room to hear her. Secondly, the person at window 1 said very loudly when she greeted me, "oh you are here for that annual mammogram - what fun" and smirked. I left, followed up with Mary the supervisor who said it was all my fault for misunderstanding my appointment time which I had recorded in my calendar, phone and office calendar. I took the morning off to do this and just left....perhaps they can reimburse me for my time wasted with their issue? I immediately called another imaging center and got my mamo 4 hours later. I had anMRI scheduled and called to make sure everything was set to go. Set time away from my day to get there. Arrived 30 minutes early as they asked, called the day before to make sure every thing was all set, Then when I got there they said my MRI was`t oked .
