The company has reached out to me to compensate my time and effort. Much better effort!

In mid-October, 2025, I spent a week at Northwest Hospital for chronic wounds and cellulitis caused…read moreby lymphedema and diabetes. Throughout my time there, everyone on the staff, from doctors and nurses to food service and cleaning staff, went above and beyond to take care of me to the absolute best of their abiiity. My room was always clean, medications were administered on time, and they all gave me the impression that they genuinely cared about me as a person, not just as a patient. I want to give special credit to nurses Teresa, Marlo and Jennifer, who went above and beyond to make sure I was well cared for and comfortable. I truly appreciate the efforts of these three ladies. The only complaints I have about my stay was having to sit in the emergency room lobby for four hours after being seen and admitted, waiting for a bed to be available, and they have the worst food and coffee of any hospital I've ever been in.

Who had been sitting there the entire time! Calling it Poor care quality is being polite. I was there almost two hours and we left because they would not say if it would be 10 minutes or 3 hours. But No one was being seen except the 96 year old who threatened to leave. Went home called an ambulance. They gave meds and IV bag. They took her back to this hole and they set her in the hall . We left. Don't bring a dog to this place! Special shout out to the emergency room receptionist, she certainly wasn't a nurse (no nurse would ignore two people in distress, who are writhing in pain!) . FU. And the nurse who FINALLY GOT OFF HER ASS to help the 96 year old man , hope your parents end up with a similar care giver. How do two sleep at night?

5 Stars to my Sonographer who was amazing! I wish I would have caught her name. She was patient,…read moreeven though I was in pain. She also talked to me a lot and answered all of my questions which was a welcome distraction from the procedure. Minus one star because I was not informed of the high copay until I showed up there and was expected to pay it. They did work with me which was a very nice blessing, I just wish I would have known in advance as I would have had it with me.

I paid $100 even though I knew that was more then I should be paying (she tried to get me to pay over $500). My insurance company, by the way says I owe zero and that I should not have paid anything. I contacted their feedback, nobody ever replied to me or got back with me. It's been since April 2nd. The women who did the testing for the mamo and the ultrasound were fine. Another concern was they had the wrong chart. It took over half an hour for them to find the right chart. In the beginning they insisted it was mine because the name was the same, and I said no. I did not have work done in Florida. No I never had that testing done, and I never had any done that year. That's not me. I strongly recommend finding a different place. Strongly. I'm still trying to find a person who can help me and refund what I overpaid. Sounds like there are a lot of people in the same boat. My insurance company said that if they don't fix it to contact insurance about it and something in the state, but I hope it doesn't get to that point. What a pain in the tuchus.

Just had my baby here in December 2025. I was very concerned about how things were going to go…read moreconsidering I had a fairly traumatic first birth years ago at a different hospital, but thankfully this experience was absolutely amazing in every way. I came in for high blood pressure, was offered an induction, took the induction and was able to still follow my birth plan which consisted of wanting to stay unmedicated (no epidural or medication based pain management) and no Pitocin. Nurses were absolutely amazing and so kind. Because I was going unmedicated, they offered me the wireless monitor so I could get up and walk around if I wanted to which was a huge plus. I did NOT want to be stuck to a bed and thankfully I didn't have to be. Labor and delivery went smoothly and I was not at any point pushed to accept any interventions I did not want. In the mother-baby unit (I can't remember what they specifically call it), the only complaint I had was we were not told about the "celebration meal" that you can order for your dinner. Wasn't a huge deal anyway because my husband got us sushi and brought it back. Every person on staff were so sweet and helpful. The billing department has a little left to be desired but apparently its common for issues to arise with certain insurances but I'm not the first and surely will not be the last woman to give birth using VA community care insurance so they should know there should be no patient charges. Literally my only issues have come from billing.

Helpful, kind, compassionate, understanding, attentive, and informative. My son also had a NICU. I had a lot more nursing staff interaction than most. The Doctors were amazing. They knew their stuff, and got us out and home safe. With the intention to not need a return visit for being too quick. They didn't make me feel like they were dragging their feet with care to boost the bill.( Like other hospitals have made me question.) If I had a choice, I would not hesitate to go back. Thank you all so much for a wonderful experience
