We purchased a new 2015 Ford Lariet a couple years ago. We were unhappy with the vehicle so we went back to our sales person and started over. I suggested the price we could afford to pay for another new truck and Bill Curnow took it to his manager and processed the sale without even having to fight to get the price down. The deal worked out exactly as we wanted it too so we will not have a hardship money wise since two new vehicles can be quite costly. So far we are very pleased. We went from the old standard V 8 Engine to the new 3.5L ecoboost. We were blown away with the power of the new V 6 engine. If you love the V 8 you should for sure at least test drive the V 6 , it might just change your mind on your car, and your choices with the new cars and trucks on the market today. But, back to Bill, our salesman. He is awesome and he tries real hard to make fair deal for you. Don't be afraid to ask for him when you walk in. Woohoo! As good as it gets! read more

I have bought a lot of cars over the years and generally speaking it was never something to look forward to. A long tedious process to say the least. I must say that our experience with Sonora Ford was by far the best auto buying experience either my wife or I have ever had. The sales person Emily Shattuck was awesome. She knew all about the vehicles we were interested in. She took the time to answer as well as anticipate our questions. Her knowledge of the Edge we bought was excellent. Emily took the time to go over everything she could about the various options on the car and assisted us in getting our phones hooked up. Also I will say that the finance portion of this went smoothly and took no time at all. I appreciated the lack of hard sell tactics one usually gets at this phase. All in all this was the best car buying experience we ever had. Thank you Emily and all the folks at Sonora Ford. read more

My excursion had issues late on 6/23/2020 and over 400 miles from home. So I googled nearest Ford Dealer and Sonora ford came up. I called to see if they had a diesel mechanic and was told yes but we will be closing soon. I asked to speak to the service manager (Charles Dodd) and explained my situation. From that point on I was taken care of. Everyone from the service writer M. Murphy to K.Pombo customer care agent went out of their way to help my wife and I (it was our 31 anniversary) they even gave us their deliver van as a loaner(it was all they had left since it was so late) at no charge. B. Guinn the mechanic was very knowledgable and answered all my questions about the repair and many other questions I had regarding my truck. Never felt rushed by anyone there and upon our return, everyone wished us a Happy Anniversary. Can not say enough about the Sonora Ford Service Team. Thanks, Everyone read more

I bought a car last year. James was our salesman. Once I left I started having lots of problems with my car. When I went into the service department to have it fixed I bumped into James and told him the issues I was having. He told me that he knew the car had issues before i bought it and he just wanted to make a sale. I told him I would have gotten any car from him, I just wanted him to be honest and sell me a car worth paying for. He just laughed it off. Not even an apology. If you go to Sonora Ford, do NOT go to James. He is very dishonest and only in it for the sales. There are other great people who work there and the commission will be best in their pockets. I have no issues with Sonora ford themselves, they are all great (with the exception of James, of course) I'm sitting on thousands of dollars of repairs now. read more

We recently purchased a car from Sonora Ford. (My early Christmas present! :) ) We couldn't be happier that we bought a car through Bill Curnow. He is very professional, he listened to what I wanted in a new SUV and he wasn't about to try and sell me anything different. I left with the exact car I had my heart set on and I am still in disbelief at how smooth the process was. Bill and Steve in the finance department worked with us to get our payments down to what we were comfortable with and we never felt pressure to do anything that wouldn't work for us. Bill was definitely more interested in our well being than making a sale, which was much different than other salesmen we've dealt with in the past. If you're in the market for a new or used car, make sure you ask for Bill, you won't regret it! read more

We just purchased a used vehicle for our 16 year old son. I cannot tell you how relieved I was to deal with honorable, knowlegeable, friendly people. Clayton Baker was our rep, and he was excellent. He knew a lot about the different types of cars and was able to steer us toward a good used car. He's not your typical used car salesman. Clayton went above and beyond to help us - even offering to detail the car himself! It was also a pleasure to work with Jeff Bigelow, the Sales Manager. He took the time to meet us and get to know us. And finally, Steve Goulden, went through all the paper work with us, explaining things thoroughly. And, he has a wicked sense of humor. The customer service was fabulous. Thank you for a much more pleasant and positive buying experience than I ever expected. read more

I'm pleased to recommend Sonora Ford, whether you need a good price on a new car or a very competitive price on a low mileage used car. In particular, Tim Neeley was very helpful in identifying a wide range of alternatives, new and used, that could potentially satisfy our needs. His depth of knowledge of the features and capabilities of a wide variety of makes and models was particularly helpful. He provided thoughtful pros and cons for each without pushing a particular choice. He was very patient during several days of test drives by my wife and I, ultimately resulting in purchase of a well-equipped and fairly priced Ford Escape. Both of us are happy with the purchase. read more

Let's face it, buying a car is an experience we compare to going to DMV or the Dentist. Or at least it was. I had an amazing experience with Damian and the folks at Sonora Ford. I probably bought one of the lowest priced cars on the lot and was treated to a smooth and quick sale. Less than 2 hours from test drive to driving away in my new car. I felt like my business was very appreciated and can't say enough good things about the great deal I got. No high pressure none of the song and dance about I'll have to call in some favors to get you this deal. Just a great price on a great vehicle and going the extra mile to get me an interest rate I could live with. Outstanding!!! read more

I've just purchased a 2016 Mustang thru Sonora Ford and the experience was fantastic my sales person was Ashlee and things could not have gone better' even though she's new the whole deal went over perfectly and was well worth the 5 Hour drive from Los Angeles . I don't know how often someone can say they had a great experience buying a car.. but we did at Sonora Ford. Don and the whole team were so friendly, supportive, professional, and laid back. The office is open so there is no strange energy of the salesman disappearing into some upstairs office, and coming back with a finance guy who tries to sell you something different. We got an excellent car - all the cars they sell are carefully chosen and inspected - I feel so happy with our purchase. We won't be going to another dealership when we are ready to buy another car. Thanks Sonora Ford! read more

I've been shopping for a new Mustang for more than two years, and every time a new one came in, Dave Souther called and offered me a test drive. Finally, last week, the perfect car arrived. As usual, I dreaded the bargaining process, but at Sonora Ford it was hassle free. Dave and the staff gave me a fair price and a good trade-in for my '06 Stang. No pressure at all. The Sonora Ford service department has done great work on my old car for its entire life, and its good to know the sales dept. standards are also top notch. read more

Just wanted to say thank you to Billy Curnow for the outstanding customer service and attention to detail. Billy spent more than 4 hours with my wife and I to make sure we got exactly the truck we wanted. We could not be more happy with the service we received and we are very happy with our new 2016 Ford truck. Thank you again to all the friendly people at Sonora Ford, this is our second purchase here and we highly recommend them to anyone in need of a quality vehicle and honest and friendly customer service. read more

This was my first time buying a new car and Sonora Ford made it the best experience! Kelly Robinson and his staff made me feel like family! I was lucky enough to work with Joe, Dave, and Steve to make sure I left happy with my new 2017 Ford Escape. They worked hard to get me approved and get a finance plan that worked for me! I cannot thank them enough for such a great experience. I will absolutely be coming back here for my next car purchase! Thank you for all your help! I am in love with my new car! read more

In general Sonora Ford is a great place to purchase your dream auto (both Ford and Subaru autos are available). I dealt directly with sales consultant Toby Canto and found him to be very personable, kind, and, knowledgeable when I purchased my 2018 Ford Escape (Toby is now the Subaru sales consultant). Toby graciously helped me (on 8/5/19) troubleshoot and install the software for WiFi in the auto. I recommend going to Sonora Ford and Toby as they will take care of y'all. read more

My husband and I bought a used 2014 Ford F-150 from Sonora Ford last week. Jeff Bigelow, the Sales Manager and Dave Souther, the Internet Customer Relations Manager were exceptional to work with. There was no high pressure tactics and communication was honest and forthright. It was a true pleasure to work with them. If fact, we will work with them again when we buy a new Subaru later this year. (Sonora Ford is in the process of becoming a Subaru dealer too.) read more

We just purchased a Ford F250 Tremor from Bill Curnow at Sonora Ford. Initially we were a bit skeptical that it was the right place to go, but Bill was great. He did not rush us and spent a lot of time showing us all the best vehicles for our needs and discussed pros and cons of every option. He did not pressure us, was not a "slick salesman" and answered all of our questions thoroughly. We were very happy with the sales team at Sonora Ford. read more

I went into Sonora ford last weekend to look at a Subaru Legacy, but decided to check out some other cars. Justin Fernandez helped me out and he was awesome! He was very accommodating and made sure I understand everything I needed to when it comes to buying a car, as I'm a first time buyer. I left happy with my 2014 Dodge Dart and I'm in love with it! Next time I want to buy a car I'm definitely coming back. read more
