I recently had to start looking for a new local shop to take my car into since George's sold. Found…read morethis place (by sheer accident) and could not be more pleased, the owner is super transparent and willing to explain certain things like parts, labor, and pricing with me. You can tell this place is very professional and they did and honestly great job, helped me learn what needed to be looked at and taken care of without sound like they were just trying to make a quick buck off me. He also was willing to bundle smaller easier items for free which somw places dont or wont do like my rear wi shield wipe blade, passenger door mirror cover, and license plate light blue. We also took care of the AC coolant and radiator system that needed work, they changed out the rear brakes/routers (they do both here at the same time each time for their service), diagnosed my horn issues (was a clockwork part in the wheel) and replaced my battery terminal. They are respectful, hardworking, diligent, honest, and kind. The prices are reasonable for the work they do, they charge a flat labor cost fee (10$ more and hour of you bring your own parts which is only for certain items so ASK first!) I was overall extremely pleased and will be going back and recommend them to anyone looking for a good car service place thats reliable and trustworthy.

A few days after diagnosing the problem he told me he needed to replace the steering column with a used one for $600. That repair would use up the budget. I gave a verbal approval. Called him a week later and the car wasn't finished he claimed to have to find a used part, not the steering column. He called June 4th and informed me the total for the repairs was $1797.00, $800. over the budget without my approval. He hemmed and hawed about the time he spent with diagnostics. I didn't believe a word he said. Paid him and picked up the car. Drove it the Junction shopping center and while parking the steering wheel airbag assembly fell off the steering wheel fell out of the steering wheel. Drove it back and he fixed it. I'm afraid of what else I might find from this scammer. Watch out ladies and gentlemen, this guy will rip you off and smile in your face, especially if you have a classic car. Good thing I had savings. Who knows what his intentions were.

He said he was booked up and business is good but for me to call him the next day so he could be in front of his calendar and would try definitely to fit me in. That was on a Friday. I got busy on Saturday and it slipped my mind. I called him on Sunday and left him a msg. Called again on Monday. He texted saying he was getting hair cut and would call me back about the work. Didn't hear back the rest of Monday and didn't hear Tuesday. On Wednesday morning I called and texted saying I'll make it real easy. If this is a job you don't want to do or is too advanced for your capabilities just text me so I can find someone else. Didn't hear anything Wednesday. Ken seemed like a good guy but i feel he is like a child who is peaking through the window but too embarrassed to answer the door. I seen on his Facebook post where he says he drove 90 minutes to fix a van in the rain. I couldn't even get him to return a text or a phone call and it's beautiful outside. If you want your car fixed I would look somewhere else. Ken drops the ball just dialing a number or picking up the phone. Then again maybe he's still getting his hair cut...‍. I'm giving him two stars just to be somewhat fair I guess.
